  • I so love my Stainless Steel nib and kept hearing that the Brass nib was even better for sketching. Let us compare these two nibs with a few inks and see what we think.

Hi Tabitha, I have been curious about this dip pen since I saw it on another UA-cam. I want to get the E and M one too! Its on the pricey side so I have to save a few months to get the whole set. I saw on the St. Louis Website now there is another holder and a glass nib. So happy you compare them..I want to use them for drawing! Thanks Maria

Great video. I've been wondering how these two nibs differed. I've only since the brass nib in use until your video. Thanks for doing this comparison and sharing this demo.

Could the stainless steel nib have less feedback because it has been smoothed from use? I find this to be true of my stainless fountain pen nibs that I regularly use, but not sure how often you’ve used the older nib.

I have used it some, but it’s been very smooth from the beginning. I’m sure both will get smoother over time though Both write beautiful out of the box. Thank you.
