Does Billy Sheehan not have a home to go to, he seems to tour forever. Only seems like yesterday I was getting blown away by the Winery Dogs in Manchester. The stuff with Bumblefoot and all the other things I see him involved with. The guy is an absolute living legend. I remember watching his clinic at the London music show many years ago and there was only about 8 people watching him, I couldn’t believe there wasn’t more we were all sat round listening to him play and talk when he wanted people to ask him questions when he looked directly at me asking do I want to ask anything. I absolutely shit my pants and just shook my head I couldn’t believe this absolute bass monster was talking to me. Only later kicking myself cos I could then think of a hundred questions to ask him, mainly why did you leave Dave Lee Roth’s band. He came out and played some Jeck Beck stuff with Guthrie Govan that day which blew everyone away. The guy just doesn’t stop working. Thanks Billy for many many years of amazing bass playing.
Aging comes with all the good and bad stuff, not easy to keep up the high key vocal for 20 plus years in most of the songs as they were written in eric's early prime years. We aged with them too, it's beautiful 🎉
They put on a smoking 20 song set (instead of their usual 22 song set) at Belly up tavern, a 600 capacity music venue in San Diego (Solana Beach specifically). Billy and Paul were rocking hard as always, shredding it up. Saw them in April 1990 open for Rush in Rochester and they are still great. They were personable, connected w/ the crowd and had amazing respect for each other as musicians, a rarity nowadays after being together so long for 35+ years. Looking forward to their new "10" album in July!

I like and have heard so many bands - be it death/thrash/heavy metal, blues, jazz bands...(even pop bands) but when Mr. Big shows up in my lists, they are my OLD & ALL time fav band and will always remains so. Its supposed to be their farewell tour yet some members of the band have talked about doing a new studio album so I guess we don't know at this point what's coming next.
Poor audio setup...maybe its just the reverb of this location, but I do not like the sound. Nevertheless, "To Be With You" is still a legendary song and I enjoyed it a lot. Thanks!

I’m going to be 53 soon. Eric and I had the same vocal coach (Judy Davis). I got to know him a little bit and we had mutual friends. This was around 2001. Great guy in real life. Watching him perform up close in small venues in his prime was unreal. Everything you heard on the record he could pull off (live). He was and is still one of my biggest vocal influences.

Great band but the voice of Eric is really lacking as is his shape - he really should start working out and get his voice back in shape. Try Vocal Essence of Robin van Beek - it would help him up again. For the rest really great band.
Eric doesn’t need a vocal coach. He worked with the greatest vocal coach ever (Judy Davis). Obviously you don’t know anything about him. Try being 63 and sick and doing what you did 30 years ago.
