- The Terra Kendama pill is both metaphorically and literally tough for me to swallow. I absolutely love having it in my kendama collection, I recommend everyone gives it a try, and I simultaneously went and made an actual list of all the things that I don't like about it. Just imagine if you couldn't stand up, wouldn't that be frustrating? Here are my - to make a short phrase long - pill professionals and convicts.

I personally like the nip on the pill, sits well in the bevel like a lighthouse, and I’ve done lean house using the nip in my advantage
This guy nips. Honestly, I can see the benefits/stringing need, and it does add a good extra dimension to the pill, I just wish it stood up😩😩
That juggle to spike you hit was insane I never expected to see that done on a pill
Feels way better on a kendama but the pill can still get it done!

I'm totally with you on most points. Especially the feeling while playing. I don't like how unbalanced the spike part is when doing jumping sticks or similar tricks.
What I really like about it is how simple it is and how many new possibilities there are with the pill. (Balancing it on the side the top and the bottom)
I feel like it is something for mid-level to advanced players that already have a big catalogue of Tricks on the kendama that they can bring over to the pill. When I first started playing with a pill I mostly only did earthturns or jumping sticks because everything else was way to hard to Balance because of the klonky nature of the pill)
I love to bring it out to a sesh because it always provides a fun change and it's always nice for someone who never tried it. But on it's own, it's a little too simple in my opinion. But then again there are some players who absolutely destroy the pill with tricks I could never even imagine so maybe it's not as simple as I think.
You've summed it up perfectly! I've seen some crazy stuff on the pill, I just can't see myself putting in that same amount of effort unless I can't even bear (bare? Idk) to pick up a kendama for whatever reason, which hasn't happened yet!

Ayee I was super into cubing before I gradually got more into kendama, but I can still rip a nice 3x3 time. Hobby gang🤙🏼
gotta be honest, I was thinking about getting one of those just for fun, but I think they are a little pricey for what they are ..
That's a fair take, the quality seems to align with the price, but it's the enjoyment factor that makes it worth it or not🤷♀️
the pill is definitely a gimmicky toy but i still like it. theres also 3 sizes of them. its cool to have one around tho
For sure! I'd honestly be down to try a smaller size, it'd be easier to take around and might have less of the clunky feel

@@timbo-slice4321 a Sweets Kendama Boost Radar is usually brought up as one of the best kendamas for someone brand new. The Sweets Kendama website has them for like 20 buckeroos if you search for "Radar". There are a ton of great kendama brands though, Krom/Sweets/Lotus/Analog are ones I've tried and loved depending on how much browsing you want to do😂

I’ve yet to try the 💊 but one thing that crosses my mind is that I don’t have as much time for hobbies as I would like to. My love affair is with yoyo and kendama… and right now I like to spend my time on these two skill toys. Currently since it is about to be 5A-May I am branching out into a style of yoyoing called 5A (the yoyo is not attached to one’s finger, instead it has a counterweight attached to the loop. It is also known as Freehand Style because the yoyo is free from the hand). With all this said, I think I could simplify my comment by saying that I currently don’t have time for the 💊. I’ll say “Shout out to your IG as well.” Also… it is nowhere near Christmas and I can see the Nome Alone house in the background. Are you tempted to start the build? Ⓜ️ary
Oh I am very tempted to start it lol, but I honestly don't know when built time is gonna be 👀 I've never heard the term 5A, but I've seen the off finger counter weight style of yoyoing and it looks both very satisfying and very difficult to do. Would love to see some of the tricks you come up with! Enjoy that 5A May!
Maybe worth mentioning but i believe that you have one of the bigger size pills so maybe the smaller og version would be better for you indoors
But on the other hand the og size feels kinda small in your hands
@@damasquid9410 that's a fair point, this one seems to be the closest to "kendama sized", but it's very possible that a smaller size would be more fun for me. Perhaps one day we will find out😅
