The problem is, they did this for nothing other then shock factor. Shock factor that's only going to last a couple months and no one will care anymore. Same with that girls match that had thumbtacks and blood. No one knows who was in that match, no one knows why they had the match, no. One. Cares. Instead of figuring out why no one cares, they'll just keep getting crazier.

Friendly reminder that New Jack, the "totally unsafe guy" did the stapplegun spot as followed : Put his own hand on the opponent's forehead, actually stapple his hand, the opponent sells like death, New Jack raises the staplegun (or does his psycho dance) so people pay attention to him and thus they don't see the opponent juicing himself with a tiny blade. Heck, even Mongo's briefcase was already "curved on the inside" to make the briefcase strike less painful. Those guys are why wrestlers have coaches, agents or just someone to tell them "no". To quote Stevie Richards : "You have to protect the wrestlers from themselves".

I was going to thank you for uploading this, as I never actually saw the match both Corny & Brian (& literally everyone else) were hating on so much… but since that was probably the worst piece of business I’ve seen in 40+ years of following wrestling, I’m already wishing I never watched it. It’s blatantly obvious both the participants & the booker clearly don’t understand wrestling & really shouldn’t be involved in it at all going forward. If its non sanctioned how does a ref stop it? Anyone remeber summer slam 02 when shawn Michaels came back? that match was non sanctioned so the ref couldnt stop hhh from hitting shawn in his injured back with a sledgehammer because it was non sanctioned. That was one of the best non sanctioned matches ive ever seen. It was believable, it had a story that was believable between 2 guys who were best friends and people knew it which made people care. It had a great believable finish wherr shawn gets a lucky pin and won to then have hhh send him out on a stretcher to get his heat. Everything fit so well. This match had none of that.
