Literal Proof Parries ruin the game. Devil Jin has zero pressure game against a character that can just parry and launch. Hats off to Qudans for playing so well despite being out played by the game itself
As if DVJ doesn't get a power parry of his own which also works wonders if DVJ player has the reflex to do it. 💀 Reflex parries are the most hardcore and virtuous aspect of Tekken. If you hate getting parried, that is where *mindgames* come in. Qudans can go b2 and not go for the second hit, granting him mental frames since the Jin player has to be solely focused on the kick animation to properly react to it. This articifial turn often gives DVJ the chance to impose a forced 50/50.
@@darkmatter21_xx It functions exactly the same: both Jin and Devil Jin parries have i3 startup instead of i5. Devil Jin gives fixed damage, Jin gives the variable potential for punishment. But the startup and the applications are exactly the same.
@@NovaSeiken any skilled Jin player can launch you Via a parry. DJ gets a counter attack. Also Jin recovers quickly on whiff , DJ is stuck standing there. Completely different. @WRagnaW did i ever say other wise ? I said his only dangerous low is his hellsweep read to comprehend not to respond. I never onced said his mix ups out of crouch dash were trash even though everything he does out of his crouch dash in in fact punishable, While rising 2 punishable, while rising 4,4 punishable, hellsweep punishable, while rising 1 punishable 🤷🏾♂️ my point proven. Sure you can mix them up but most of his options are indeed punishable making the threat minimal and the reward for landing one of those 1 is truly worth the risk I.E the while rising 2 for a full launch. Don't get me wrong hellsweep is still good but his compared to heihachis, reina, and kazuyas is pitiful. He'll even though he has positive frame advantage hes so slow that most characters can beat him before he gets to try to take advantage of the stun.
I have something to get rid of my chest. As far as it goes i‘m a decent player with 280k prowess. I have few characters at Tekken King and one character at emperor. I just picked up Devil Jin and i‘m at bushin right now. Well fuck me He is a awful character no pokes and no 50/50 i‘m having a hard time with him. Long story short hats of to all Devil Jin Main‘s.
Gotta say I hope in 1.09 we get more Jin nerf like d2 being -15, heatsmash - 4 didn't wallsplat from miles away, his B2-1 after hellsweep isn't always confirm F4 pickup needs to be difficult Overall that's what I'll wish we get
It was canon for DVJ to be better than Jin in this game, hence Angel Jin had to come in as to help deal with the Devil gene. It’s so ass that Harada listens to crybabies like MainmanSWE, he cries about everyone except Kazuya. Holy crap, they ruined Tekken lore and gameplay because of it. Harada Buff DVJ and stick to canon lore while y’all still have a franchise don’t listen to biased influencers.
wtf are those missed hitboxes in dvj!??
Devil Jin being worse character than Jin is crazy, Jin is pure bullshit in Tekken 8
Qudans is the better player but CBM has the better character 😢
lol, CBM is the champion, and he plays better than qudans) He also played better in Tekken 7.
@@Jin-xh6ey bro what? Qudans was a monster in early-mid tekken 7. He made knee practice characters like Lili just to counter pick him in tournaments.

1:27 what devil jin move is that
Power crush man
I play both and devil jin moves are nerfed and punishable.
Right 90% of DJ's kit gets him F'd up 🤦🏾 all we get is a safe high in EWGF which can be launched if ducked.
Devil Jin is absolute trash
Awesome gameplay by botb. Appreciate instead of complaining MFS.
dvj has no dangerous lows and horrible pokes, all the opponent need to do is stand blocking. lol
And watch out for hell sweep which is completely predictable because he has crap mids now 😂
