The parents should be held liable since the gun was not locked up or had a child safety device on the gun. How many more kids have to die before the laws get changed ? 100 ?, 1,000 ?, 1 million ?, 10 million ? SMFH

Wait. Don't tell me. The child is an American child. Why is it other ethnic children are not getting shot or shooting themselves. And they have access to far more firearms than Americans. Is it because other ethnic kids are taught that a gun is a TOOL. These kids are taught to field and detail strip a firearm before they can ride a bike. But all you hear are stories about Americans kids. What are these other ethnic groups doing that we aren't doing. I grew up in the south. Everyone knew where the guns were. And everyone knew how and when to use them. No gun locks. Nothing. And we only shot rabbits. Not each other. This fascination with guns in these homes stem from certain alphabet agencies that needed to protect their crack profits by flooding the street with cheap firearms so dealers can protect drug shipments heading to the neighborhoods. That's when all this mess took off.
It's not hard to keep them secure this is madness and hopefully the kid pulls through this!
