Thanks for the detailed description. The little tunnel on the northbound exit is one of the strangest (and most expensive) engineering solutions I have ever seen.
Im proud to say im with the team made this (REBAR) boy oh boy it was a pain in the arse to make but satisfying to see it now its done. I work in SIGMA BEAR
@@hiddenhongkong It took almost 3 years of my life dedicated in to doing the rebars of the structure to finish. I am so delightful to see it now its done. Happy for the Hongkong people too and also some day i could visit the place.
If it is carried out, yes it will. They reserved a space for train tracks. However, the space could also be used for an MTR line rather than a cross border service.

very nice video! tbh i watched a full trip non timelapsed video and it felt like it was one of the harbour tunnels, cant believe it was the longest
It probably feels like that because the cross harbour tunnel is always full of traffic, while in this new tunnel you can actually drive fast.

Come visit the station once covid is over! The MTR says the new station will be open by the end of this year, but you know their track record 🤦♂️
It's the Fastest Way to Chek lap kok International Airport and the Zhuhai Hong Kong Maxau Huge Bridge.
long tunnel
Yeah you don't say lmao
I am from Hong Kong and just realize this tunnel exist
Is the western express link phase 2 going to be in the tunnel?

@@hiddenhongkong ok
Yeah I was wondering why they didn't include a rail link both through this tunnel and along the bridge to Macau.
