Holy cow. I know I’m an idiot for doing this but I put a tiny Phillip bit that would go on a chuck or in a bit holder in there and it was jammed in there good. I couldn’t even pry under it. So what I did was, hear me out, I used a hammer to bang down the tip some, I used some pliers and was able to get a grip on it and pull it out. Thanks for the video my good sir. Now hopefully I can get it reassembled and never make that mistake again
I just used your method it worked a treat with a Macallister impact driver. I liked the tips of using grease on the ball bearings (mine had three) and the tool to catch the parts. Many thanks.

Hello, I was available to remove the spring and the other two rings but the black part that you pull to remove the bit it doesn’t come out
If you watched the first video, try the second video. I have to videos on removing bit from Ryobi the second video has more detail. Hope that helps.
