True. There are plenty of villains who would pull a double cross at that point. Good thing she did as well as it actually helps Raimundo's arc. The real reason Raimundo didn't become a Xiaolin apprentice is that if Master Fung hadn't given the young four monks the order to take their Shen Gong Wu and flee the temple grounds instead fighting Mala Mala Jong with him in the very first, Raimundo joining the Heylin Side would've never happened. But NO, Master Fung had to give that stupid order. In other words, he didn't have a choice.

When I’m reminded about raimundo betraying the xiaolin side, I at first never thought of it as anything more as raimundos greed, but now that I see the show again, I’ve started to think otherwise. Raimundo wouldn’t have joined from greed alone, he’s not that low, even in season one. What really pushed him to join Wuya was Omi and master Fung, or rather, Fungs decisions and Omis ego and personality. Omi kept insulted and demeaning raimundo, making it seem as if raimundo was inferior just because he was promoted and Rai wasn’t, let’s be honest if you were in raimundos place or If Omi was in Rais place, you’d probably join Wuya too, the difference is raimundo wouldn’t rub it in towards Omi like Omi did to him. And master fung, do I even need to say anything? He’s basically the beginning of why raimundo betrayed them. He chose to not promote Raimundo even though raimundo only wanted to help and was technically doing the honorable thing, which fung decided wasn’t a good thing even though it was a mistake. He could have simply lectured raimundo or something, but no, he didnt even stop Omis ego or anything, HE SHOULD HAVE DONE SOMETHING BUT HE DIDNT. Omis ego was unbearable and the fact raimundo was already upset made things worse, Omi just couldnt shut his ego and mouth up, he didn’t need to rub his promotion to the one person who tried to do a good thing, something he would defend if he was the person to do it, but no, he didn’t. don’t even get me started at the fact he lived at the temple his whole life and still couldn’t understand the concept of ‘a rank doesn’t make up the skill of a warrior’
@@andrewlopez411 that’s because of an annoying concept called favoritism and unnecessary mistrust, sprinkled with a bit(read a lot) of naivety and a stupid belief that every student is the same, listens to the same beliefs, orders, rules, moral principles and values and reactions to things.
I have to agree: Omi drove Raimundo away with his ego. And the bigger insult to injury? Omi continued to think he was justified and great, happily bullying Raimundo and doing things without thinking them over out of the naive belief that they would go well simply because he was a ‘mighty Xiaolin Warrior’. And it ultimately took his attempts at saving Chase Young so he can get promoted to leader to see that his actions had serious consequences, as his absence got the others imprisoned and ultimately killed in one timeline, and them living in exile in another after he stopped Chase. I honestly literally really do miss the show of xalions showdown why on earth was it ever canceled from cartoon network
Wuya: sugar mommy material😂
Raimundo whyyyyyyyyyyy😭😭😭😭
This was my favorite Arc in the series. Susan Silo is just perfect.
Throwback show 🔥
0:09 I swear I hate omi ego after season 1 ranks don't determine skilld
Her mistake was trusting a traitor. Like dating someone that cheated on their partner.
I love that Dojo’s reaction is an undertones “oh boy” as he if he is familiar with is situation. Great foreshadowing.
Every good guy gets way stronger when they turn bad and every bad guy turns weaker when they go good
Heylin Raimundo interested me so much that I had to do a fan fic about him staying with Wuya. Lol
Rai turning to evil was an interesting arc. I wish they did it with Kimiko falling for Chase instead. 🌸🌸🌸🌸🔥🔥🔥🔥💕💕💕💕🗡🗡🗡🗡
Kimiko fell for Chase Young?

Not canon wise sadly, witch sucks.
Witch… I see what you did there
Kimiko is a child, get a grip

You're that offended? Honey you need to relax. 😘
Wuya had a Penelope Pitstop costume driving the race car saw the reference
You're right omi I'm not so where do you want them
Missed this cartoon
People aren't born good or evil.
People bring you to good 🤍
Or 💔drive you to evil 😈
No offense to omi but if he kept his mouth shut about being xiaolin apprentice then maybe raimundo would have not betrayed them.
Raymundo went bad to the bone
Only temporarily
Well Done Dragon Of The Wind
I met his voice actor, Tom Kenny
PS I love the facial expression moments in the show such as 4:18 7:14-7:17 7:45 7:48 8:07 9:28 10:49
The use of the Serpent’s Tail and the Reversing Mirror was genius. The writers were very creative compared to…the Backscratcher of Solidification from Xiaolin Chronicles…
Rai sold out the homies for a Chuck E. Cheese arcade… he’d be dead to me
***Personal chef, and. Everything else he could've possibly EVERRRRR wanted.....
Except **his** friends...
People would TRADE the WORLD...... for *one,*
or the other.
I don’t remember ever watching this show I just remember that kid specifically giving it all up for a milf
I Like Raimundo He's Awesome I Like It When He Is A Hero
It's crazy i didn't even realize Raymundo was voiced by Tom Kenny until he laughed while flying away with the serpent's tail.
he knew not to fight omi head on
I wish they kept arch going by wuya noticing his loneliness and told him to get their dna and she makes evil clones of them ultimately they are too evil for ray and the same thing happens
I remember all the artifacts lol that’s crazy
Lmao she says Canada then Canada ends up owning the whole franchise
I have been looking for this. I'm subbed. I wanna know the ending of this show
not even mad that he left his "firends" backstabbed him
Kinda how i view us people go bad at times. People get told annoying things over and over. They *snap* and change. Then, do more ridiculous/harmful/evil things. I saw convicts state they did the act do to the lack of care and more treatment of hate and inequity. Guess what, thats what Rai did too.
So much CULTURE IN THIS SHOW
If Omi had stopped Raimundo after that "not even you" at 1:50 that would've been so badass 🥶
He didn’t want the smoke with omi
He didn’t want the smoke with omi
Raimundo had the Serpent's Tail in hand so he was getting away no matter what.
I feel sorry for Wuya
Wu-ya is the type of villan i could honestly see myself working for. She doesnt necessarily want death, destruction, and suffering for eveeyone. She just wants to be in control and will get rid of anyone in her way. Thats the evil part out of the way. But shes a reliable ally that will help you to the best of her abilities, she ALWAYS holds up her end of the deal, and ironically never betrayed anyone (i dont count jack.) And she rewards success handsomely. How many can say their boss wouldnt sell them into slavery for a ham sandwhich?
