Yes, but I'm sure he's a lot of rough times too. I read a long Sport Illustrated article about him and his accident and it's been really tough on him and his family. But it is good to see him smiling.
Life is still happening I'm glad for family friends to push me, I built a gym at home and I work out all the time just to get at least my strength back can't wait to walk one day there will be a cure
This man is amazing. I am so happy to see him looking incredible and reaching out to all his adoring fans. I cannot imagine the challenges he has faced, and we are all so fortunate to get to have Shawn back on the scene!
I remember him from back in his college days because BYU was in the same conference as my team (Univ. of Hawaii). IIRC he played his freshman year and then went on a mission to Australia and then just entered the NBA draft when he came back. I just remember he was so tall it was amazing seeing someone that tall play. He was skinny as a beanpole back then but he was such a presence inside. I hope you can make the best of your life Mr. Bradley and wish you well.
His a straight up legend I can't believe this happens to him such a good person I hope he can walk one day love u Shawn straight up nba legend my man could dunk without jumping god bless him And the fam his so strong one love playa!
Pretty sure the only reason I ever "dunked" in my life on a real 10 foot rim was because Shawn Bradley came to a basketball summer camp when I was a kid and picked up a bunch of us allowing us to dunk. If it wasn't him then it was someone else who was taller than 7'0 but I'm pretty sure it was him. Thank you Mr. Bradley ! Praying for a miracle!
Shawn and his family have taken this difficult circumstance and turned it into a new outlook on life. A girl I went to college with was paralyzed after a fall off a balcony while on vacation. Prior to the accident, I think even she would admit she could be a bit judgmental or haughty, but after, she had a completely new outlook on life. She could have viewed this accident as a huge inconvenience on her life, but she has truly been inspirational. She is so full of life now and while human nature will creep in and she may wonder what life would have been like for her if the accident never occurred, she doesn't dwell on those thoughts. Instead, she has embraced this new normal and found there is still so much beauty in life. She is an inspiration, Shawn is an inspiration, and as an RN at a rehabilitation hospital, there are so many people that inspire me each day with their determination and positive outlook. I always hope for continued improvements in medicine, but so many people who are either born with physical/mental disabilities, or experience trauma/disease that causes disabilities later in life, truly handle their diagnoses with the utmost grace. It's because of individuals like you that I am excited to go to work everyday, even with the pandemic and consistently being short-staffed. Interacting with patients that overcome so much, is truly inspirational and a gift that we get to witness first hand.
I followed Shawn's career when he played one year for BYU. I always rooted for him. He was alot more talented than people gave him credit for. I only hope the very best for this gentle giant. May the good lord take good care of Shawn!!
What a great man and a true inspiration. I loved watching him back in the day. I love how positive energy and how wife is truly amazing and so supportive. Maybe one day he will walk again!!!! God bless you and your family. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

I met Shawn once at Lake Powell… I used to be a member of the same cult as him and he went out of his way to seek us out and shake our hands because we were wearing the cult costumes ❤ what a sweet gentleman
I met him at a hotel here in Hawaii in 2015 or 2016. He is such a gentle giant. He had to duck through a glass doorway because he was unsure if he'd hit his head
I'm shock :( this is verry sad for me . I remember when he play one of the best blockers in NBA history :( All the best for Shawn Bradley i hope he get well
I’m a Sixers fan since their move from Syracuse. I remember the criticism he received from not just Philly fans but everyone associated with the NBA! Reality was considering his limited basketball background, he never should have been drafted that high with all the pressure that goes with it. He was called soft when actually people weren’t used to a “big man”
With his mobility. The top center at that time was Shaq who had no mobility, just played bully ball using his weight. And obviously with this terrible accident, another unfair blow for this man. Yet his faith keeps him positive and hopeful. This is how Shawn Bradley should be remembered. A good man dealt many bad blows!
Shaq a freakishly great athlete ? I don’t think so. For big men, Akeem, Embiid were/are freakishly great athletes. Shaq just used his weight to dominate the paint! What games were you watching?
No Stick it Up, I’m just saying that your statement that Shaq was a freakish great athlete is totally wrong. He won games using his weight and strength on the paint, not his athletic ability!
so sad. it should motivate many of us to not dawdle away our time. A professional athlete, no longer be able to do outdoor activities and sad that he put on some weight.
@@prisonpiece1852 your grandfather who made love to your uncle then later kissed your little sister in the mouth then jumped off the Brooklyn bridge right?
I remember Shaq threw a big dunk on Shawn and Shaq’s body knocked Shawn over haha Shawn got pisses and threw the ball into the back of Shaq’s head hahaha 🤣
This guy’s perseverance is inspiring me to push through a really rough time right now, thank you for your transparency Shawn; I needed this.
Oh my heavens, this interview left me in shock. I had no clue about him being paralyzed. He sure has a positive outlook of life

I literally just found out as well …
He’s gained weight?
@@johnjacoboYeah, he has filled out a while ago. He is 350 pounds now, but he use to be skinny.
I recently got shot in the back walking home, paralyzed me chest down, Bradley keep going it not over until lights out
Sorry to hear that. Hope you are able to get through the pain.
Your strength is inspiring

What you get sellin dope on da wrong corner
This is crazy, I'm sorry that happened to you
I'm so glad he has so many loving people to support him. His outlook is amazing. Stay strong Shawn.
Met Shawn at an airport about 7-8 years ago in CA.
He came off as a great guy!
Glad he’s keeping up.
Sure it wasn’t 7’6” years ago?
@Biffalo Bull 💀

God bless Shawn Bradley. More of a man and more courage than Ill ever have.
Truly a good dude on and off the court. Always has been ❤

This really makes me feel stronger because I had a injury that change my life as well
I'm glad he's speaking well. I read the interview and it was heartbreaking.

Shawn Bradley with a guy. Wow.
Meet Shawn when he came to Minto Australia to do his mission . Good person, saddened this has happened.
He looks and sounds a lot better than I thought he would.
So much better. It’s a relief.

Never knew this accident happened to Shawn Bradley ---- same year as Mark Eaton's fatal bike accident! Amazing co-incidence.
Sadly, Mark didn't survive 😔!
Lucky, Shawn is survive 😀! I pray for Shawn to live longer 🙏!
Strong guy, I’m gonna check out his highlights next
riding a bike is such a potentially dangerous situation, which is unfortunate

🙏Much respect to you Mr. Bradley. Amazing outlook you have man. Your an inspiration for sure. Thank you for your strength. 💪
The NBA needs to do a prayer and everyone for Shawn Bradley good player!
The look on Carrie's face (smiling) while he was talking.
So Shawn Bradley could be big ! unbelievable
Seeing Shawn Bradley like this makes me wanna cry he was part of my childhood growth 😢
This is so sad. Take is easy while driving people. Driving and biking people should be able to co-exist
get well soon big man
A lot of people don't know, that this is one of the greats to ever ball in the court
Amazing couple. With love anything is possible.
To God be the Glory 🙌🏾
One of the good guys!
Tamron, I felt that brief sadness while he was talking about how he needed to get a message to his wife. Ooo weee 🥺🥺🥺

Yeah, God blessed him alright. Blessed him with that bike accident and him being paralyzed. Some God you got there.
He's the guy from the Space Jam
♥️
Speeding Cars do it once again, huh!?
My condolences to this man and his loved ones. One of the best shot blockers in NBA history.
You must be talking about Mark Eaton, because Bradley is still very much alive after the accident that paralyzed him
So tragic! It makes me think twice about riding my motorcycle

NBA All Rookie team, and NBA shot block King....his career wasn't the greatest, but it was better than a lot of people gave him credit for.
Great Interview! Also... Tamron looks stunning from head to toe!
Well, he can move his hands, arms, fingers.. miracles, having process.
They couldn't zoom in a bit to avoid showing his gut?
Maybe he's not ashamed of his stomach @cat breath
One of the Monstars! Og!

Shaq was way more mobile than Bradley what are you talking about. O'Neal is literally one of the most freakish 7ft athletes in the history of the NBA

Great content but need less commentary and let the guests speak 😊
Who's the idiot that hit Bradley ?
What kind of person misses a 7 foot tall man riding a bike

Perhaps he can play in wheel chair basketball games now.

That was Dudley
🤦🏿♂️ not even close 🤦🏿♂️ 🤦🏿♂️ 🤦🏿♂️
Not Brad, and Shaq pushed Dudley down after the dunk, and I don't think it hit shaq's head either
if he had that weight in playing days...he just might have been respected as a first round draft pick. But...he wasnt so he is a bust for his legacy
He was not a bust, averaged 2.5 blocks and was the 97 blocks leader
It’s not a good look to have a fruit basket behind you and you have a double chin
It's because he can't do any physical activities anymore
Fruit doesn't make people fat
