Hi Pam and Sunny! FYI about that photo that had the sign about the Comstock Load - refers to a lode of silver ore located under the eastern slope of Mount Davidson, a peak in the Virginia Range in Virginia City, Nevada (then western Utah Territory), which was the first major discovery of silver ore in the United States and named after American miner Henry Comstock. I knew about it because it is considered one of the most haunted places in the state. It's been featured on at least one TV series about ghost hunting. TFS 💕

Just bought a whole set of oxcide distress reinkers..and, of course they came with colors I DIDN'T HAVE...SOOOO,
ordered the ink pads to match.
HOWEVER, I really feel this was a good investment.
LOVE all the colors....
AND, I did
something differently this time when I decluttered that area.
I put each reinker with the corresponding ink pad....
already, I feel I'm using these more....just because of that change.

Oh you crack me up! I so needed to watch this and laugh out loud. The metallic modeling paste is really cool. What a neat journal this is turning out to be.
They must’ve just changed the packaging of the Create glue stick. I’d ordered the Create but it showed up with the plaid stick. Of course, I thought I’d made an error so I ordered it again. Same result. And, yes (gulp), I ordered it again! The plaid glue stick seems to be just like the Create. Works great!

I have found that the plaid glue stick does not hold over time like the scotch create glue stick does. Since I can’t get the create glue stick anymore, I’m going to order a totally different brand of glue stick and keep trying new ones until I find one that works as well as the scotch create glue stick. Thank you, Pam. For always giving us new ideas to try. I love your channel!❤
Tried the plaid glue stick (Scotch), and not only does it NOT perform with the same excellence as the Scotch Create, but it doesn't last as long. Very disappointing. 😢
I have a new 'trial' brand on the way now, and will report if it is successful.
I was in direct path of eclipse. We had lots if people from all over usa and world in our area. But my friends and i documented all the weird sightings. We have lots of camp grounds and it was so amazing seeing so many hippi RVs showing up. Were in areas of crystal mines so you can understand. The best ohoto shared was an old RV fixed up like an owl with viewing glasses. We had more fun doing this than watching the eclipse.

I have an old desk top furniture piece from an old closed groc store. One shelf is long and across the middle. The ink daubers w their ink names sit perfectly right in front of my face. It’s a good thing too because the eyes are starting to squint.

I finally got caught up on your podcasts so I could hear what you had to say about the Scotch Create glue stick, and you did read my comment. One commenter stated that the old-style version is available on Amazon, and it is, BUT it costs almost $8 EACH!! 🤯And I don't see the plain ol' Permanent glue stick with the gray or even red plaid on the tube, except in smaller sizes. Pickin's is slim! So, I'm going to try the UHU permanent glue sticks of the same size as the Scotch Create (1.41 oz.) which cost a LOT less. There were also some scalpers offering the original Scotch Create glue sticks for over $40 each 😱😵💫😵

I'm not in the path of the eclipse. And, it was raining. It did get darker but seriously hard to tell. Then it cleared up and the sun came out right after. I was not aware the eclipse had any control of clouds 😂

Ive tried modeling paste, and I still have some... But mine when it dries, chips off... Anyone else have that trouble or am I doing something wrong?
