    Please Help
    Professor asked us this question
Suggest two techniques to compensate the effect of ambient temperature on RTD?

can someone answer what is the difference between a sheath and a thermowell and why are they used

If temperature of J type thermocouple increases then resistance increases or decreases

RTD is also remote thermal diode, right?

In this case RTD stands for "resistance temperature detector". It is essentially a resistor that changes resistance predictably with temperature. It is not a diode. By measuring the resistance, one can calculate the temperature.
