I was in Nepal in May 24 I went back after a vacation there in October of 22 there is something special about that culture and the land ..great series you have presented
What an amazing journey.... I am in awe of all the construction in seemingly impossible places to get materials. Great oration, music and photography! Love all the people. Can't wait for chapter 3!
@@fredreynolds-onefootinfron5919 Thanks for the prompt response Fred ! This is truly an amazing collection of videos. Your down to earth narration, friendly and kind demeanour to the children you accost and your humility somehow restores my faith in America. And that there is a different America than what Fox news tom toms. You should set your sights on Norway for your next jaunt. The mountains around the Lofoten Islands in Northern Norway are rugged and breathtaking to say the least. And fewer tourists too. Happy travels and please keep making these videos. Greetings from Copenhagen !
Adventure? With 50000 other hikers every year, hundred lodges ready for you along the trails. Most hikers having guides (here one guide for each 4 hikers) to handhold you all the way, and porters carrying your gear. Namaste is nepali language, these people speak Sherpa and the greeting is "tashi delek". No donkeys used up there, mules... And at that level they are not yaks but Dzos, cross between yak and cow (mules...). It looks like you missed the first Everest viewpoint on the climb up to Namche. There is a stall selling refreshments there. Why go up via Tengboche when there is a much more impressive high trail on the opposite side of the valley via Mong La - Phortse - Pangpoche? Walking the same low trail twice? No time or monetary penalty either. Only come down via Tengboche. I have spent 5 months in the area since 1985, so I know...
