I love the game, and while it isn't "the best" in the eyes of many, it is still REALLY good. This brought me back. I used to play Solo Mode over and over. The 1 v 1 at Blooper Beach always got me on edge. Same thing at Bowser Station when it sometimes comes down to just you and the Shy Guy and Magikoopa.

If there is something mario party 9 did right it was the win condition, the ministars are a way better win condition than the normal Stars in Super mario party

Am I the only one who thought the solo mode was complete luck if you won or not? The reason why I think this is because of how the game is structured in its party mode.
I remember loving this game as a kid and since it was my first Mario party. I loved it even more. I guess I was just a dumb kid because this game is so bad compared to every Mario party game beside Mario Party 10
@Scarlett the thing is that so much of the gameplay is just sitting around, occasionally pressing a button to move randomly. The boards are extremely linear and boring, there aren’t enough mini games being thrown around during the game. The only reason I can think as to why people like this game is because of either nostalgia or some of the mini games
