“Flat white privileged latte” my new favorite quote
Bob Cook aw thats cute bob 🥰

How corny are you?
She proudly said her height and weight oml this woman 👏😭👌
Right? How many women would go on national TV and announce their actual height and weight? Especially when they've been slammed for it in the past. Super brave, and I have mad respect for her for it.
Sad to say, but that is a super brave thing to say. I wish women had interesting frontiers for bravery more often, and that we weren't all so batshit insane over women's weight and age in this society. It's so fucking superficial, meaningless, and harsh.

@@shaywelsh6832 thank u finally like this why i dont like feminists. What ever u say some.how it gonna be about their body their choice. So they can be sl't where ever they want or something like heck i bet one of them went to a funeral in a sexy dress with colors. Like i get some woman get pregnant from rape or fbois. But that doesn't mean to kill the baby cause the baby didnt do anything yet. Like heck this one woman kill hers cause she didn't had the money to raised it why cause she buy so much drugs. And there are some women who get pregnant on purpose to get money and yes they exist by lying about being on pills. Heck it might be your body and your choice but it also your responsibility too for somethings. Like alot of girls having sex at young age without thinking and falling for fbois tricks but dont want to take the responsibility but blame it on the guy. It was both their fault.
@@kuggacouragegx6093 you are a fucking stupid entitled asshole..
@@kuggacouragegx6093 Bloody hell, how old are you? Go and get some perspective and some life experience instead of just judging others and regurgitating lame arguments.
FYI, men need to be educated, take responsibility for their sperm, quit seeing themselves as untouchable moral authorities and quit acting like they know a god damn thing about women's bodies, especially when it comes to unwanted pregnancy!!
Women should be voting on whether to make abortion illegal or not. Women need to be at that table and contributing to that debate!!
It IS a WOMAN'S choice. It IS HER body.
If it were the other way around, I'm sure men would be protected fully and given full legal rights, no doubt about it. But for some reason, men believe that they have a right to take a woman's rights away!! Bullshit
Her coming on in a hand maidens tale costume is literally so hard core. I love it!
Legend.
Yeah it's like so woke. Like she's really fighting for us you know? Let's just murder as many babies as we can....... that's so 2022 girl
Would you consider yourself to be a good person?
Well then tell me: How many lies have you told, and what do you call someone who lies? Have you ever stolen something (even when you were small. Even from your parents. Even a sweet), and what do you call someone who steals? Have you ever taken God’s name in vain (very serious; in Old Testament times, the Jews wouldn’t even say the name of God for fear of blasphemy) - even ‘OMG’? Jesus said whoever looks at a woman to lust after her has already committed adultery in his heart; have you ever looked with lust? One more: Ever disrespected your parents?
Well I’m not judging you - but if you’ve done these things then you’re a liar, thief, blasphemer, adulterer-at-heart and rebel, so you're not good enough to go to heaven; that’s how seriously God takes sin. God is holy (perfectly good/righteous and separate from sin) which means that He is perfect in justice; that means that just like a just judge does sentence criminals to pay for the wrong they caused, God sentences the punishment of all sins. No good deeds you've done have removed your sins and you've done many. If a criminal is found guilty and says to the judge that they've changed since then, repented and done many good deeds is the judge going to let them go? No - because that doesn't erase their crimes.
And if God were to judge you by the moral law would you be innocent or guilty? Heaven or Hell? Because of your sins, the answer is hell - the wrath of God upon you for your sin.
And that's why Jesus - the Son of God and the only one who lived a perfect life - came. Because on that cross as Jesus suffered, He took on the sin of the world and was judged in your place; receiving God’s wrath for sins so that you wouldn't have to. You and I broke God’s law, but Jesus paid the fine. God can justly forgive us.
On that cross He died, then He was buried, but 3 days later He was raised from the dead - conquering death and Hell and ushering in The Kingdom of God. Now He's in heaven and one day will judge the world in righteousness. What you need to do is repent (In humility, acknowledge your sin before God and turn to Him) and trust alone in Jesus Christ and His work on the cross. Believe in Jesus - who's God incarnate. God has given no other name but the name of Jesus by which men must be saved.

@@therabbi9848 Oh dear, I do apologize! 🙄 I have never seen it written so I went for this option and stand corrected for my ah, so terrible mistake. 😂 However, calling Leslie an "idiot" for any reason at all is absolutely unacceptable. If she likes any name for any reason and wishes to use it, it is her choice. She probably likes it because she sees in it something else than you do, and it resonates with her. She also got a tumultuous applause for it, so your oppinion is not shared by many people. Which is ok, until you start calling people demeaning names. I find her amusing and love her energy and her comedy style, so my previous comment was a spontaneous cry of joy as she passionately adressed the issue that is burning a hole in the hearts of millions of us women. The Dracarys thing doesn't really matter, I bet there's a good chance she hasn't even seen S8E5. That statement implies support for the actions of Daenerys Targaryen. I just think it's ironic that she chose to implicitly idolize someone who straight up murdered thousands of women and children on a tv show while also idolizing the murder of children in real life. I'm not sure it makes sense to have the "just trying to have a good time" attitude towards one of the most controversial
Amina Ammar Ageed 100%. All the false rabbis out there can be as loud and ignorant as they want. What will never change is the heart, courage and soul of women who stand side by side with each other screaming for simple respect and decency. It is horrifying that it is 2019 and we still have to fight to create a world where we can be safe and equal. Where our right to our own bodily autonomy is not dependent on who is elected to power in any given year. This may be shocking to some but NOONE is pro abortion. Pro choice simply means that every woman has the right to decide what is best for themselves and no matter the choice the reason behind it is no ones business but that woman and their doctor. Period. Full stop. No one decides on abortion like they are crossing off milk on their grocery list and how dare anyone judge something so personal and devastating. P.S......I am a MAMA of 3 little ones, but the right to choose should not be debated in 2019. "Our Bodies Ourselves."
IAmaPersion that’s one issue another pressing issue is Alabama’s new laws make it incredibly difficult for a pregnancy by rape to be aborted.
I don’t agree with people that use abortions as a quick fix for pregnancy because they couldn’t be bothered with contraception but that’s not always the case in America. Abortion needs to exist so that people have control over their life. Having a kid is a lifelong decision you can’t take back, the parents need to be mature and committed, that is not always the case.
Plus it’s not even a baby at the early stages of pregnancy it’s not even a foetus. It’s cells that have a potential to be a new life but the same could be said for the zygotes left behind after IVF. Sometimes quality of life over quantity needs to be accounted for.
I don’t agree with all cases of abortion and wouldn’t get one myself (some abortions can happen at 22 weeks that is concerning and horrific to watch) but it’s a necessary evil because what are the alternatives?
People will still pay for back alley abortions and hurt themselves further or go to a different country and also hurt themselves.
The people that decide these laws don’t even reflect the people who’s lives they’re changing. There should be normal men and women, mothers fathers and doctors on that board.
This is a very racist comment disgusting
Since you apparently have no knowledge of the state you are living in, almost 52% of tne population is female, so statistically speaking, over 25% of the state's population voted for these policies, so please, and I am asking you nicely, gather all of the facts or fuck off
Also, isn't every living thing just a clump of cells? If so, what's so wrong with me killing every living thing on the planet, if they're not living thing

Fantastic speech. Wish it were longer. 👏👏👏
First they started a war on birth control coverage, then they followed it up with a war on abortion. Alabama also has the worst fetal mortality rate in the country because of their lack of basic healthcare. Studies have proven that in states where Medicaid was expanded, babies have a better survival rate. Tell me again how pro life it is to be anti-birth control and anti-healthcare.
This! If they cared about babies dying, they would fix their healthcare.
Women healthcare and abortion are two separate things. They can be mixed for commercial and political strategy, but still they are separate. Pregnancy healthcare can be provided without abortion.
@@IvanGarcia-cx5jm Yes, but the whole point is that so many anti abortion people claim they just care about babies and don't want to see them die. Then those same people turn around and make it harder for pregnant women to get medical care, and make it harder for women to get birth control to prevent needing an abortion in the first place. If these people actually cared about babies, healthcare would be easy for pregnant women to get, and birth control would be covered.... They are making it harder for women to avoid unplanned pregnancy, and then taking away their options to handle the pregnancy, while also making it more difficult and expensive to even get the baby delivered in the first place....
@@IvanGarcia-cx5jm That's not true always. For some women, abortion is healthcare for health reasons. I think you missed my point which is that lack of healthcare for expectant mothers and babies leads to more deaths than abortions and yet the same people who claim to care so much about fetuses are the same ones taking that life saving healthcare from the mothers and the children. That's not pro life at all. That's ignorance.
And anti-education. Some of the dumbest people in the country.
Boomer here. Roe / Wade was nearly 50 yrs ago. This the the current age of illumination .... and 'power hunger' is still alive and well in so many human. The old guard are long gone. These 25 guys are the younger generation from 50 yrs. ago ... they still want power. Power to control women ... women and their loved ones can't rest easy since power mongers are always going to be around.

I'm watching this end of 2020 and it's still AMAZING.
Thoes senators voted for no abortion but just watch what happen when their misstresses get pregnant 😈
...they get caught on tape asking their mistress to get an abortion
They also shot down a bill to increase health care for children up to age three.
Do as they say but not as they do! I would like to know where the "grace" and "forgiveness" part of their so-called religion went to...🤫
lol that's assuming they're potent enough to get their mistresses pregnant. What a bunch of sad turkeys, seriously.

Thank you for doing this on behalf of women, Leslie. You're 100% on point 👏👏🙌👍
I just watched the season finale of "Saturday Night Live" today thanks to DVR. The "Weekend Update" this week had me in stitches from Cecily Strong as Jeanine Pirro, the jokes between Colin and Michael, and Leslie Jones' impassioned, loud segment. Leslie Jones' speech made me think how even in the darkest moments in our lives, we need humor and laughter to get us through the days. Like the audience, I booed the men (at my TV, I mean) when their faces appeared on the screen. It reminded me of a clip I saw from the 1970s of "Saturday Night Live" when they went after Anita Bryant (and rightfully so). I'm not a major fan of Leslie Jones but I applaud her for taking a stand here in this clip on an issue that should be out of the hands of old, far-right white men and an issue that should solely be between the woman and her doctor. Thank you Leslie Jones and "SNL!"
❤️❤️❤️❤️. Thank you SNL and Leslie. Thank you!
"If any of them had lips, I'd tell them to kiss my ENTIRE ass!" This is gold! I'm gonna have to start using this one! Seriously though, this sux! Trust women to know what's best for them selves.

Yeah, how dare they tell women they can't MURDER THEIR BABIES

Her body, her rules.
Honestly it’s baffling to me that this is still a debate.
“What about the baby,” the Internet conservative reactionary strawman argues, “once she’s pregnant it’s not just her body anymore!!!”
You’re right, strawman; it’s not just her body anymore. But it’s not just the baby’s body either. Her body is still a factor in the equation, therefore ‘her body, her rules’ still applies. Period.
Or just wear a condom..
SilentBigSteve rapists and people committing incest don’t bother with condoms. The Alabama law doesn’t even allow abortion for that. And no form of birth control including condoms, is 100 % effective.
Great. So write your congressmen and ask them to push forward pro-choice legislation. Then it won't be a state or court issue anymore.
Mrcookie T I’m glad you asked. Debating an issue with straw men is tedious at best, unproductive at worst.
My argument isn’t inconsistent at all, actually. You already highlighted the key difference in your explanation, but you failed to grasp its significance.
When a woman is pregnant, the child is physically attached to, and thus a biological drain/strain on, her body. It is infringing on her own bodily autonomy. Once the baby is born and the umbilical cord severed, they are no longer connected; they are two separate biological entities.
Yes, an infant is still dependent on its mother to survive in the same way that an elderly invalid is dependent on others to survive. In both cases, though, the health of the dependent is not directly, physically connected to that of the one it is dependent on. Once the child is born it is, for all intents and purposes, it’s own entity. That is the difference between aborting a pregnancy and killing a baby... which would be homicide...
So no, abortion is not the same as murder. Both involve the termination of a human life, I will grant that (I do operate under the belief that life begins at conception, for the record), but that is where the similarity ends.
The anti-abortion argument seems to end there, though. To them, it’s the termination of a human life, end of story. Unfortunately for them, it’s much more complicated than that.
Pregnancy puts considerable stress on a mother, both physical and emotional. It forces her to make considerable changes to her lifestyle and can have adverse effects on her health as she carries the child to term. Plus delivering a child is always a risky proposition, whether naturally or by C-section; both run the risk of killing the mother. Plus, once the child is born, there is a minimum 18-year legal and economic commitment to raising and caring for the child and even after that there’s the fact that, you know, you brought a person into the world. It’s literally a life-changing decision for all parties concerned. I completely understand someone not wanting to make that decision until they are ready, and it is immoral to force someone to have a child they don’t want, especially when you consider the literal life-threatening risks involved.
So no. It’s not just the baby’s body. Until the child is born, the mother’s body is still a factor in the equation. The key difference between the anti-abortion argument and the pro-choice argument is which factor, the mother or the baby, should take precedence.
From my point of view, the mother has done nothing to deserve having her rights taken away, to be forced to give up her bodily autonomy for the sake of another. If she gets pregnant and she doesn’t want to be, it is perfectly within her rights to terminate the pregnancy. Sex is not a bad thing. Wanting to have sex without having a child is not an immoral thing.
Making someone keep a child they didn’t intend to have against their will, thus irrevocably changing their life forever? That’s immoral.
So again... her body, her rules.
Make sense? I can break it down further if you like.
Mrcookie T ...Ahh, so I do need to break it down further for you. Very well.
See, you’re right in that it is another body (well, it’s a mass of cells or fetus developing into a body, but no need to get into semantics), but... as I said before... this second body is still connected to, and feeding off of, her body, therefore yes, her body is still involved. Her life and health are still at risk and therefore, as the adult, her choice takes precedence.
But while we’re on the subject, you clearly disagree with this premise. Why? Why, in your view, does the life of the child take precedence over that of the mother (and father too, but honestly he’s not really a factor in the equation as his body and life are not involved)? Why is the child being born all-important? Is it because you see it as life and death vs a temporary inconvenience?
At the risk of straw man-ing you, let’s examine that, shall we? The old “it’s wrong to kill a child just because it’s inconvenient” argument is neither as simple nor as unassailable as you’re trying to make it seem. It’s more than just an inconvenience, as you so broadly painted it, for all the reasons I already went into. The pregnancy is temporary, yes. The delivery process is temporary, yes... it’s also life-threatening for the mother, to bring that up again since you seem to have skipped past that fact, but still, the pregnancy and birth are both temporary. You are correct about that.
Bringing a child into the world is forever.
Forever.
It is literally a life-changing decision for the parents either way. 18 years or beyond, they’ve got a kid together now. Whether they kept it themselves or put it up for adoption, they have a child together, and there is a whole slew of circumstances where that can be a terrible thing. I’ve seen what can happen to unwanted children. I’ve seen what can happen when two people have a kid together only to have the relationship go south real fast. I’ve seen the toll these factors can take on both the parents and the child. It’s unnecessary tension, anguish, and stress on all parties concerned. Is it better than the death of the child? Honestly, on the grounds that a parent can have children later, when they choose to, yes, I do think it is better. It’s better for the parents not being forced into a life-changing decision against their will and it’s better for the children they do choose to have (if any) because they will be wanted. Wanted children are better off than unwanted children.
It is immoral to force a parent to have a child against their will. I have no problem with people encouraging others to keep an unwanted pregnancy... provided they do so honestly; all the anti-abortion pregnancy crisis centers masquerading as abortion clinics, and using taxpayer money to do so, is infuriatingly dishonest and manipulative. As my mother said to me once, abortion should be an option, but we should be educated to know that abortion is not the only option for dealing with an unwanted pregnancy. She didn’t like abortions, my mom, and she told me she wouldn’t have gotten one herself, but she was still pro-choice. She recognized that though it wasn’t a choice she would make, people should still have it as an option, with the caveat that they should also be educated to know it’s not the only option.
Maybe I’m biased because it’s my mom, but... I think that’s fair.
And again, the woman gets to make the choice, whether that be to have the baby and keep it, have the baby and give it up for adoption, or even to terminate the pregnancy. Her body, her rules.
Now, to address a few of your other points:
I specifically didn’t bring up cases of rape, but since you did I will also point out the... shall we say, problem with the whole “rape exception” clause lawmakers cite to try and prove that their abortion bans are “fair”:
Rape is very difficult to prove in court for several reasons, not the least of which being that people tend to not believe women when they say they’ve been raped. Even if they do believe them, a lot of people tend to... just... not care. Look no further than Kavanaugh’s appointment to SCOTUS to illustrate my point.
If THAT is the lynchpin of determining whether a woman can have an abortion or not... let’s just say it’s kind of an empty gesture. It’s BS.
Second, don’t get pregnant? Heh heh, you make it sound so simple. People can get pregnant even when they take steps to prevent it. Mistakes do happen, even when you follow the rules, as it were. A couple shouldn’t be legally forced to have a kid if they don’t want to just because of a mistake. To insist otherwise, as you seem to be doing, by claiming it was their actions that led them to get pregnant... I just... are you... are you saying “you chose to have sex, so deal with the consequences?” I don’t want to put words in your mouth. I’m genuinely asking. Is that what you think? You get pregnant, it’s your fault, so you have a kid now?
Again, not to put words in your mouth, but if that’s the case... Jesus... that’s a pretty big judgment to make on someone else’s life, and not just the parents, but the kid’s as well.
I thought the whole point of having a kid was to give them the best chances and opportunities at life and such. Parents being forced to have an unwanted kid... that’s not exactly setting them up for success, is it? There are other examples I could give, most notably having a kid when you can’t afford one (because “make it work” is a colossally presumptuous response I’ve heard from anti-abortion advocates), but I think I’ll leave it there for now.
Thank you for taking the time to read my response. I appreciate your desire to make your views known and that you’re willing to listen to others, even if we don’t agree.

If a zygote or fetus IS a person with rights does this mean child support payments and welfare benefits now start at the beginning of pregnancy? Can you declare a person 'in womb' to be a dependent on your taxes? Just curious...🤷🏽♀️😒😏
lol good point.
Get a job, and pay for your own life. Why leech off of the government, and then ask them to stay out of your life? If it has a heartbeat, and human characteristics, and it lives in your womb. *IT'S A FUCKING HUMAN* What do you think, you are giving birth to a toaster?
