Camera isn't about numbers but about quality and this, this is no different from its predecessor. Type-c isn't something new. 90hz would have made it's way to its predecessor as its not new either. Build quality and overall durability as well and processor should have received upgrades

It's always nice to see reviews of devices that are currently available to me, Quite informative, as I would expect this model has just a few new features added compared to smart 7. Generally I think device manufacturers tend not to offer version upgrades for their entry level models. I do however like the fact that the entry level models are getting better with each passing year. I feel a better way to test the camera would be to compare how it performs in good vs low light conditions. The 8 mega pixel on my Smart 7 does a good enough job in well lit environments but does not perform as well in low light.

Infinix smart 8 is not a camera centric smartphone. There's nothing one can do to significantly improve the selfie camera because the sensor is of low performance
