To the channel presenters. I hope this information is helpful.
1. Regarding the lack of a reserve day, the ICC had allocated 250 extra minutes for play to take place. So if the 1st SF is a washout, they use that extra 4 hours to play the next day evening. Whereas the 2nd SF, the extra 4 hours will be played later into the afternoon and evening of the same day. They can't extend it further because, between Semi Final and Final there must be a gap of 24 hours. And in case of a washout, the team that performs better in group stages will be given the advantage, this practice is there since the past 30 years. As when Aus- SA tied in 1999 WC semis, Aus advanced to play the final.
2. Sikandar said the pitch wasn't fit for a semi final. Actually, if the batters know how to rotate strike and play straight hits, runs were in the offering in the pitch. In comparison the Semi final pitch of Trinidad was worse and that pitch wasn't fit for a knockout game. I see it's only the India's match which matters to you.
3. In West Indies, there is assistance for spinners and pace bowlers. Instead of complaining about how ICC prepared pitches to suit Indian bowling attack. Maybe focus on producing more quality spinners. Indian spinners can play in any condition, as Axar was handful for Pak in a pace friendly wicket of New York.
