Excellent review, covering everything I needed to know! Thank you. I hope Abiie watched your video and made the improvements you suggested! Especially the height of the foot rest!
@@jomama1995 The Abiie Beyond High Chair. Bought it for my Granddaughter for Christmas! They haven't set it up yet, as she is just turning 6 months! The next week or so she should be able to sit on her own!
Very helpful review! Is this a highchair you can use right up at the table without the tray? Is the 5 point harness secure enough to keep your kid safe while the tray is off?
Yes, you can use it up at the table without the tray and the harness is pretty secure if tightened. I didn't start using it without the tray with my older child until she was a bit over 1.5 when I was sure she wouldn't pull things off the table. Haha
I loved this very thorough review. Is your dining room table normal height, or counter height? Our dining set is counter height and I'm having difficulty figuring out if this highchair could be pushed up to the table so our son could sit with us without his tray...
Thank you for your comment! Our dining table is normal height. We ate at our kitchen island for a while before our dining table came and unfortunately, the high chair was too low to reach the counter.
I really appreciated this thorough and practical review. In particular, I was concerned about how the white pads might stain. I'm glad to see you haven't had problems! Did you take extra precautions or use specific cleaning products to keep it looking so nice? We love spaghetti in this house, too! :) Loved the Stokke Tripp Trapp but the price tag is out of my budget. Being able to use the chair from infancy through adulthood is really appealing so I've been looking for more affordable alternatives. Another option I've considered is the OXO Tot Sprout but it has a much smaller footrest and the underside of the seat pad is made out of cloth and looks harder to clean. It's also more expensive than the Abiie. You might have just convinced me to go for it! Thanks.
I honestly don’t wipe it down as often as I should 😅 I usually just wipe off the crumbs and pick off the food remnants. When I do clean it, I spray it with Force of Nature and give it a quick wipe. We don’t eat too much saucy food in our house, but the couple of times she got spaghetti sauce on the seat, it came off after I let it sit in the Force of Nature solution for a bit! If you’re interested in an affordable booster seat alternative to a high chair, we love our Fisher-Price Healthy Care Deluxe Booster Seat. We usually take it out to restaurants but it could totally work at home. (Buybuybaby has a neutral grey one and Amazon has a bright green and blue one).
We started using it around 5.5/6 months. She was sitting up very well on her own at that point, but her feet were not long enough to reach the footrest. In retrospect, we probably could have put a couple of books on top of the footrest for her to put her feet on.
This was the best review of this seat I've been able to find! Thank you for such an in depth review
Glad you found it helpful!

Thank you for your comment! Which high chair did you decide to get?

Did you end up taking off the small white pieces underneath the wooden food tray? They seem to just get in the way like you mentioned.
@@user-eo4ps7re5e I didn’t think to try taking them off, but in retrospect I probably should have!

Love this review. What age did you start using this chair? I’ve read mixed reviews on starting at 6 months

How are the cushions overall for comfort? I'm worried they not be comfortable enough for baby to sit in.
It’s pretty firm but my daughter never seemed uncomfortable in it.
Have you noticed the wood warping?
No, haven’t noticed that.
