There is a small area behind the trees on your land where you could make another field. I think you are doing better than Daggerwin so far.

Daggerwin doesn't even have enough money to buy a chainsaw, so he literally can't make money until he either sells something or harvests his crops. He sold the mower so he can't cut grass. He doesn't even have a trailer that he could possibly load with crops or logs. Dude just got himself stuck into a corner.

@@keeganmorren141 I had to stop watching Daggerwin once I understood how the game basics work. He plays like a feather in the wind, and it just goes where it may take him without a plan or goal to stick to, which makes it frustrating to watch. Except silage. He does a bunch of silage, which is boring. Should be in the rules to not be allowed to sell silage.
Oof! That was a pricey second fill! I agree a stump grinder could be good. Then, you could chop all the trees down, sell them ( or buy a sawmill and turn it into planks or boards and sell that) and turn the left behind area into more arable farmland. It could be something to do while you wait for your crops to grow. A 3rd field between you 2 fields and a 4th on the east side of the trees is good too. Maybe plant some sorghum and oats? Could do Soybeans too if its a bit late for them and the price will be dropping. Also, since you havent been cutting the grass prior to cultivating, you're getting that 2nd layer of fertilization without having a spreader yet.

Can you and Daggerwin do a competitive multiplayer as a team? You could do a 2v2 or a 2v2v2 against SimFarmer and Stevie4k as a team and Kedex and The Camper as a team.
This is a pretty sick idea, they should store this one away for future series, I would definitely be into seeing them work as a team against others
Considering chainsaw doesn’t talk would it work on dags videos?
@@X1xmOOSex1X yes, there is a chat they can communicate with. Plus there is a voice chat they could use.

@@blackhawk8815 I just figured with chainsaw not talking in his and you don’t hear him in dags, he just wouldn’t talk period. I did see they used the chat in other videos

Gunna love this series. I intentionally have refrained from watching yours until now, yours are always fairly short videos, so this way I can watch a few back to back.
I jive far more with your way of doing things than our good buddy DW, but I think you guys should be on to use lumberjack mod. Plus the Vehicle Control Addon mod is great for keeping straight lines, plus all the extra stuff.

I’ve wondered this myself, I feel like it would benefit him. Chainsaw always wins these competitive series (mostly because dag has a “unique” game strategy lol) but who really is the winner? Dags videos usually get 10x as many views, and it has to do with how he connects with them, he tells his story and thoughts and you go through the ups and downs with every (questionable) decision he makes lol. It’s great and all to win a fairly meaningless game, but it doesn’t pay the bills. Not trying to crap on chainsaw, but just food for thought. I would be very interested in hearing more of chainsaw’s thoughts and ideas as he’s playing and I think many others would too. Maybe even adding computer generated voiceovers to the subtitles?
@@nickb7795 Me personally I like both styles of videos, it really depends on what mood I am in. I like the connection aspect and commentary on Daggerwin's videos, but I also like the information density of Chainsaw's timelapse videos. If I want a quick fix, I watch a timelapse video. If I want to sit and relax, I will watch a Daggerwin video. I don't think one is superior to the other.
Most on-map bulk sales tend to be more pricey than bags for some reason, no idea why.
Love the video and I have an Idea for you when you get more money you could create your own seed to use in that reducing the cost of seed and it be closer to you at your land

Have you got the platinum DLC as part of your accepted mods? If so you could get a winch from the forestry equipment. You could then tow the trees one at a time instead of cutting trees into logs. Then when your tractor gets bigger you can tow more at once saving you even more time.

@@Chainsaw100 Now your fields are growing you could do an episode of just trees. You’d make so much money if you were doing them one by one, you could even aim for the sawmill. This early on it would be game changing!
Hey. I'm pretty new to fs and I was wondering if I can get some info about creating my own survival challenge. I been following you and daggerwin videos for abit but I just can't get the hang of it. I play fs on PS4 if someone could help would be nice. Thanks in advance
You basically make the rules of your challenge and then stick to them. You could google rules for challenges. I know there’s a rags to riches challenge with published official rules. Some possible rules are: starting with zero cash, no loans allowed, no hiring AI helpers, only allowed to hire one AI helper at a time, no buying used equipment, only buying used equipment, no leasing equipment, only leasing equipment, must sell crops when harvested instead of unrealistically storing it for months,… Whatever you want!

I am new to fs22 but why do you ise herbicide and not a weeder? You take a -15% penalty using herbicide right
If you use it after drilling your field in the same stage as rolling you wont take the 15% penalty because nothings had a chance to grow. Hope that helps

@nickb7795 hehe personally it is a goal to try to learn something new everyday, I've personally spent over 1100 hours on fs22 and love it. Watching a few guys have also taught me a ton along the way. But it is something ive tested and looked into it is how the herbicide works for losing 15% its only if they grow :D beat em before they get a chance

Just need a decent log trailer, you're missing money selling short logs plus it's not work efficient. 👍💯
True, would also need a front loader and log fork to pick up the longer logs though

I think you guys should enable the lumberjack mod. And remove stumps like that.
Do you have super strength enabled? If so, daggerwin doesnt play with it

Why do not you pick up the stones
Not a priority for me at this early stage but eventually I will remove them.
@@Chainsaw100 Remember that a roller would get rid of the smaller stones from cultivating. No need to invest in a stone picker.

Super strength is not enabled on the server, if you cut logs into small lengths you can pick them up by hand
All chainsaw does is cut down trees at lest dag is doing other things
Daggerwin should start to watch your videos so he can learn how to play the game. buying small useless machinery and leaving himself with -10 pounds sounds really bad.
