Make A Wish - Kashton a Winston-Salem Firefighter for a day!

The Winston-Salem Fire Department worked with the Make-A-Wish Foundation to host Kashton, age 3, at Winston-Salem Fire Station 19 on Saturday, Aug. 28. Kashton was an honorary firefighter, he received a special set of turnout gear in his size, went for a ride on the fire engine, actually extinguished a working fire, toured the firehouse and shared a meal with Fire Chief Trey Mayo and the firefighters on duty.
