How can some buffets just have food sitting out in the open inside a restaurant like that? Covid is a thing. Are there some safety precautions I'm unaware of? Maybe if all workers and customers had to show proof of vaccination and wear masks around the food it could work.

Hi Midori, yes people do wear masks whenever they’re going up to grab a plate. The employees also do wear masks as well~
