Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah was a gift to Ghana. He was a man of great vision 50 years ahead of his time. Within a space of 9 years he created so many factories across Ghana. The creation of Tema Township, the numerous secondary, primary and colleges he built. The construction of Akosombo dam and the Tema motorway and many other various infrastructure he built. No president in Ghana can match Nkrumah’s achievements. We have the NPP government today claiming that they have done better than Nkrumah very sad indeed.
Nyaneba, Nkrumah’s Mother gave birth to one Child only. In The Wassa and Nzema in the Western Region our Customs demands that a woman who gives birth to only one child, the child is called Bakoro or koroba. No one knows how Osagefo became Nkrumah when he was Nyaneba’s only child. If Nkrumah was the 9th born why we couldn’t hear from his siblings?
Ah! The name Nkrumah even though means 9th born child/people/persons doesn't mean he (Nkrumah) was a nineth born child (even though his father had many other children) because Nkrumah is not his first name and also not his day name. So Nkrumah is a given name after his father's lineage (Nwora/Nyora or Nwia) and surname (Nkrumah). So ignore the erroneous impression carried out there. At least for this man doing the interview, he did not state that as a fact but used that to justify his theology. You are akan so should have known that, a given name (despite its meaning) may not be as a result of the situation of the child whom the name is given. For instance, you are named Wireko not because something of you means Wireko but rather your father or lineage name is Wireko. There is no where that the family of Nkrumah ever said that they named Nkrumah because he happened to be the nineth born even though that is the meaning of the name. For instance if Amoah is the son of Amo/Amu, and I am named Amoah, it doesn't mean my father is Amo. In the ancient of days where names were being used first or names were being created or formed there people's full name did not follow the white man style where a son necessarily bears the father's name. The olden days style of naming meant exactly the meaning of the name but in our modern era let say from the 19th century coming naming system is usually patriarchal even in an akan setting. So we are named after our lineages or fathers like a western style ....
@@collinseduah2179 There is no truth about that... It is rather pettiness to use the wrong impression some people have to suggest that is what the family of Nkrumah says.
It all sounds good but where was this god when Dr. Nkrumah was being dethroned? It's time for us to start asking these questions oo. Let's start with who and what are we worshipping?
Good questions. To be honest, when God lifts you up and you forget He lifted you up and start thinking you don’t need God, your end will not be nice at all. HE will dethrone you Himself. So loyalty is very important
@@xposelies2417 So you are essentially implying that the God that he worshipped demands loyalty at any cost? Btw, the clip didn't claim he was disloyal in any way. What about the fate of Ghanaian people? Shouldn't that God have factored that into his decision to overthrow him?
I am ATOMIC BABY. GHANA ATOMIC ENERGY was a NUCLEAR REACTOR. So DOUMSOR would have been a thing of the past. The man had a VISION. Look at the UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY. And how TECHNOLOGY IS RULING THE WOLD. May his Soul Rest I A Perfect Peace
