Ha...there were a bunch of boats cruising in front of cabin when I wanted to land and was relatively low time, so very conservative on spacing. These days would have dropped in much closer...
I wish you wouldn't do the split screen really clutters up the video maybe for 30 seconds then kill it but if you leave it on for a long time really screws it up
Great video! With lake property in MN, I'm looking at getting training and hopefully bringing another Searey to the area. Did you train locally? Seareys are hard to come by up in the North!
I live in Hudson, WI. Lake is up by Detroit Lakes, MN. I'm actually in Tampa for work until October and spoke w/Jones Brothers just today! I plan to get training and start my search for a Searey while I'm in the Searey capitol!
David Boyle Dynon Skyview Touch, 10 inch along with Garmin 796 in center and iPad running ForeFlight on the right. Some would say overkill, but really nice setup , redundancy in case of any system failure. Oh and yes, ADSB in and out.
Put the gear down to ensure plane didn’t get too close to shore and rotate a wing into a tree branch, etc. probably could have beached it with the help I had... thanks for asking!

At 5000 I’d say 85-90 Mph

I thought you were going to beach the plane. Why do you moor with the gear down?
