- It's been a while hasn't it. :P But anyways after my serious lack of motivation recently, here's another new original story adaption from yours truly. This time being a rewrite of Great Little Western. Also I forgot to credit #1TFM for some rolling stock, TheGermanEngine for the Bertie model, Skarloey Rheneas for the Frank face textures, and Skipper1945 for the SR Pil Box brakevan. Oops.

That fact that the signalman was listening to Queen just earned you a sub.
You gotta love how rex and mike just argue
Rex 😠
Mike 😠
Lachlan 🤨
Oliver I’m used to it
This was a good story and it showed how Lachlan was trying to show just how useful he can be. I liked how he is well known to Duck and Oliver. Great music you had there and well done to the narrator :) .
I was only thinking about this episode today! It was an honour to be the Narrator for this! I really enjoyed being a part of it. The VAs, visuals and music were very good! I like Lachlan's character. I hope we see more of the Little Western crew in future episodes. Great work man!
Now this was really good, definitely better than the original. The story is much more interesting, and I especially enjoyed the extra visual tidbits (like the signalman listening to "Killer Queen" and the engines at Vicarstown thrilled to see Lachlan coming through). Lachlan is also better written this time around. It may not be a lot, but it's a great starting point for him as a character; I hope to see him get developed even further in the future. The only issue I have with it are the beginning's pacing. The story could've done with less exposition, and more character development from Lachlan, so we could see where his carelessness comes from; it kinda comes out of nowhere. Also, as DarthWill3 pointed out, I don't believe that the engines would only be allowed to carry 3 ballast trucks per train (we've seen them pull at least 5 or 6 at a time). Other than that, well done to both Jordan and Tom; keep up the good work!
You did a great job as Lachlan's Driver and, as I've heard elsewhere, you do an excellent Gordon voice! :)
Yes, I've been known to voice Gordon here and there.
Lachlan reminds me a lot of Thomas in his early days. If anything, they should've had _him_ council the newcomer about similar mistakes.
Plus, six ballast cars isn't exactly a lot. You'd need double that number for that kind of accident, if not triple. And if anything, the signalman should be censored mainly for the accident; human error seems to be rare in some Thomas stories nowadays.
Well tbf, six ballast trucks is the only limit I could come up with. :P And the signalman scene was only put in there just to add some comedic effect. Not to mention foreshadowing with Killer Queen being played on the laptop sitting on the desk inside the signal box.
This was amazing! Everyone did a fantastic job on this! :D
This was such a well-written story. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
0:17 Is no one noticing that Thomas just went through a stop signal?
Really great job on this!
too right
The only engine to complete this Swingin Swindon party is City of Truro!
2:29 SUDDY SOAP BAR PRODUCTIONS?!!!!!
12:14 Molly! There you are!
From what I've found out Lockland is a GWR 1300 class 2-4-0t locomotive, Unfortunately there isn't a lot of information available about the class and I don't know of any that are still around.
Nice story and production quality! Lochlan is really interesting here, and I like your focus on more minor characters, like Toad and the Arlesdale engines. This is great work!
Guess he forgot there are only two ways of doing things.
The Great Western Way
And the wrong way.
Guess what way he was doing.
The wrong way?
The Thomas way
The goofy ahh way
The undirected way
The Thomas Way
(He acts kinda like thomas on his first day)
Great episode - Though, I did find it a shame that Lachlan didn't want to keep his rather splendid GWR livery...
12:58 I do wish that basetone would re-release this theme to both soundcloud and UA-cam. I miss some of his previous work.
A very marvelous video!
I FOUND A GOOF!
Lockland was pulling two trucks and toad then he was pulling three trucks and toad
What's the name of the piece of music in the end credits?
I wonder if rushing about cause his last accident.
15:17 laclchens whistle
I love at 7:23 no one has brought up Neville
my favorite part was Mike and Rex arguing
I miss this guy bro
If I was developing Railway Series in my timeline that is if I was during 1965 at the book Very Old Engines I would use some Season 5 TV Series Episodes like Put Upon Percy that takes place after Duck and Dukes where after Percy's misfortune at the Coal Mines on the Coaling Plant Branch Line he is sent to Crovans Gate and Duck and Sir Topham Hatt goes to Briton Ferry in South Wales for a Special Event but their Sir Topham Hatt stumbles across a Scrap Yard and finds a GWR 5600 Class Tank Locomotive no. 5621 named Colby which he purchases seeing that he can't let one engine fall and he accompanied Duck to Sodor where he will take up the role for Percy at the Coaling Plant Branchline.
Later on Thomas Percy and Old Slowcoach is an addaption and also after the Workman's Hutt and Slow Coach is used until December at the time of Miss Kindley's Daughters Wedding and by the time later in Enterprising Engines we know that Colby gets Old Slow Coach renamed Charlette and the other Corlestary Roof GWR Composite Carriage named Eleanor to the fleet. Duck has of course Alice and Mirabel the Autocoaches and Oliver has Isabel and Dulcie the Autocoaches too.
Are you planning to do a part 2?
I love it already
How about making an episode Thomas and Rex.
This pleases the nut
12:40 - Killer Queen... Noice.

So instead of the signalman being asleep or either switching the points accidentally, the signalman was getting high on the job. How in the hell did he pass the drug test when he got hired?
Maybe he's a sober man that really itched for a hit that day.
wait how does lachlan know rebbeca bear and rosie

hello boys
My ears perked up when i heard the Were-Rabbit intro theme.
Is Locklan based on a real engine?
6:12 It sounds like one of the little guys said "Let me have my f***ing..." when it cut to Oliver & Locklan.
So uh... what colour is his Metropoliton livery? green? black? blue?
fishpop It’s like a burgundy red. Have a look for Metropolitan 1 (or Met 1) and you’ll see 🙂
The new GWR character would have been based on GWR Dean Single 4-2-2. But I didn't mind.
what are you four are doing here?
My name is Lachlan 😁
Please let thomas interact with lachlan
Using a song from Wallace and Gromit

Yeah... this was back when I had him as a voice actor for my past content. I no longer associate with the person anymore as I've heard about what actions he has committed.
Lachlan is as conceited as Thomas
