Great song, one of my favourites. I remember as a kid, being depressed and hating the world. This song gave me a little spark of hope that would give me relief from my depressing life with lyrics like "Jesus is coming soon, we'll be going home" I.e, away from my depressing life. The song also validated my depressing view of my world that I didn't belong anywhere. I.e, the lyrics "This world has nothing for me". Yes, the song gave me false hope. But at least it gave me _something_ to hold on to in my darkest days.

Great song, one of my favourites. I remember as a kid, being depressed and hating the world. This song gave me a little spark of hope that would give me relief from my depressing life with lyrics like "Jesus is coming soon, we'll be going home" I.e, away from my depressing life.

Thessalonians 4:16-18 is just ONE of the scriptures that point to this truth...I am ready...but I live to help bring other brothers and sisters into the Kingdom of God. Christians, don't argue with the unbelievers who post hateful comments, PRAY for them (in the Spirit especially)....that is the most effective way to reach them! God is not willing that any should perish but that ALL should have everlasting life. The tribulation will be so horrible, I would not want an enemy to be left behind.
