- It seems that the inevitable return of cheaters to Dead By Daylight is upon us. In this video, @Ayrun and I review a Huntress game where a survivor used very subtle cheats to gain an edge on me.

Have you experienced anything recently in your games?
Dbd Mobile has them a bit more often, sad that it's coming to the core game again as well.
No but I have not been playing recently but I am about to play right now
Yes, I am a user on the Korean server, and I particularly encounter Chinese players quite frequently
yes I was asking if it seems since the last update the some of the survivors were a little faster and the gen bin going off real fast
I was playing scratch mirror myers and got my first wall hacker and speed cheater, but it was obvious because of the add-on, it sucked
It's always so strange to see a survivor move just a *little* too quickly, but still question whether or not they're cheating.
Only way survivors move faster, is boon totem, deep wound made for this, you looping 2 survivors near each other, blood pact and teamwork perk, end game most likely hope, and someone getting off hook, most broken speed combo borrow time, babysitter and no one left behind, these increase speed. After that there really shouldn't be anything else aside from killer powers like yellow bottle and knight flag
@@saihiko9967 Thank you, very informative.
@@saihiko9967 I looked into that, he would run faster for literally seconds, this guy runs faster for way longer than 2-10 seconds at a time.
That was far worse when mft existed, they all has same excuse, why killer cant catch them, they just replace mft speed boost 3% to a hope speed boost 7% and when i ask why they are so fast they keep saying mft. Im even faced a streamer with that trick
It is not strange, it's pathetic. I think it's pathetic honest players have to second guess ourselves when we have to play against fucking cheaters. That's BHVRs job. Instead of putting so much effort in the game store, fix your fucking game, BHVR.
The worst about facing subtle cheaters is questioning yourself and that you might be doing something wrong, especially when you see hope or spring burst
Those cheaters are quite obnoxious as well, which doesn't help. I had this dude subtle cheating in the game and kinda didn't notice it at first, since I'm trying to be chill about survs outplaying my killer. But at the end dude unhooks survivor right in my face absolutely ignoring my hit while unhook action, that supposed to set him into dying state. Even then I thought - okay, maybe somehow I've missed/hit person on hook...and after he books it to the door at the speed of a lightning ^^
Speed was enormous, like 9000% per second I'd never seen survs that fast literally across the map in 2 seconds. I confronted the dude in the after match chat - he had audacity to say it was adrenaline....the audacity, dude didn't even brought that perk with him! ^^
I’m pretty sure I went against a subtle cheater a while back cause the mft nerf had just landed and bro was out running me with bloodlust and he didn’t have hope.
The worst part about those cheaters is BHVR created them, couldn't do anything about them, and made perks to literally hide the problem.
@@blazeyprime4470 and don't forget that they don't get banned often! ^^ Today I had notification from BHVR that they took action and banned person that I've reported, do you think it was cheater/hacker? No! I've reported couple people in the last two month, those that surely cheated (such as creating hatch on 4 gens e.t.c) and one person for harassment (they've used targeted slurs against me, I have open profile and you can actually see ME on the picture). This fella got punished for his action in no time (maybe 2 weeks max), but for those reported that 100% cheaters - crickets. That shows BHVR priorities .-.
I often report them even if im not sure and i get report feedbacks usually in a matter of a week but I don't know what the punishment is I just hope BHVR perma bans them because it's unacceptable to let them off with a warning
@@blazeyprime4470
Cheaters are the biggest losers on the planet.
True, right after bigots!
Cap
The subtle ones definitely. The All-Out ones can be fun if they aren’t too frequent :D
true and real
"Cheaters are the biggest losers on the planet." You said. but i disagree. there are two types of cheaters and its not ok calling both of the types biggest losers. There is the Kind of Cheater which uses his Abilties to make everyone or at least someones Game unenjoyable like some1 useing aimbot in shooter Games. and i agree here these kinda People are indeed Losers but the other which uses their Abiltie to cheat like in a Singleplayer Game or in gta V giving others Money for free. are not the kind of People i would call biggest losers.
I love how easily you obliterated his friends at the end trying to save him, you could have easily beat them at the end if you weren't more curious about him cheating.
He had the easiest 4k and decided to get as much dirt on the cheater he could. hopefully the cheater loses his account.
that's how huntress works, the most unbalanced killer
@@johangouOR,… maybe, you’re just not very good?
@@johangou Not even the most unbalanced. Gotta hit your shots
@@VinDicator-70 hes right Huntress is very unbalanced
I can understand if they win a bunch of 50/50s, but bro matched your speed. Like what. And you were running every loop tight and efficient.
Just a bunch of really shitty people. There is nothing to be gained by cheating, there is no rank, so it's just sad.
When the survivor practically laps the killer in a loop there's a problem.
@@timon6759tryna chase the survivor but they’re slappin my ass
Pretty sure he outpaced him.
Oh yeah. I was thinking he had like permanent hope activated but he must receive it faster than 7% I think
I really liked how Spooky brought in a survivor main buddy of his to duplicate the chases and *really* showed how the chases should’ve gone had the cheating not been present. Very well presented and said by both parties.
Not just any survivor buddy, but one that has played multiple tournaments and has vsed some of the best killers. So you can really trust the survivor main he brought in
ayrun the GOAT
the only issue I have is huntress movement speed vs trapper is different if I remember correctly huntress is like a 4.6m and one of the slowest killers whereas trapper if I remember correctly is same speed as blight
@@xMelat0n1nx Huntress is 4.4 m/s, trapper is 4.6 m/s. The comparison proves nothing more than just pure eyesight over the game duration.
@@arvid9493 he had a perk that made his huntress 115 most of the game, Batteries Included
If you look carefully, you saw his model disappear for like half a frame going around corners and he'd suddenly be further away. It was like an auto speed boost when out of sight
Was thinking the same
I thought the extra speed was the most obvious when he was turning corners, I feel like every one of them I was like “look!!”
@@avwholesomegamer yeah, the distance he’d made was crazy.
Especially during the loop on the pallet between the rocks, you see the survivor suddenly 'glitch' hard turn left
I’ve seen this on Lerys while use the perk “I’m all ears”
They would vault a window and as soon as they were out of my line of sight, they would take off like a bullet. I’m talking faster than sprint burst, then as soon as I would vault the window and see them again, normal speed.
That you couldn't catch him while using both haste addons after hatchet hits + Batteries Included makes it super obvious
Ayrun is the go-to survivor professional. I think he throws chases sometimes just to make things interesting lol. I honestly think he could go 90% of his matches untouched. Would be interesting to see him play a "no perk" streak, playing at 100% Ayrun capacity. @SpookyLoopz, you're not crazy, Killer is muscle memory to you at this point. Just like uncanny valley, it's apparent when something is "a little off."
This.. As a survivor main, I can also just tell by the fact that even if he had say sprint burst, he wasn't edging it that often when out of sight. Nor does Lithe, or any other speed boost perk allow it that often.
The only one that can truly be utilized in a spammy way, is Smash hit at purple in ranking. It causes exhaustion for 20 seconds, and lasts as long as sprint burst does. But even this clearly has issues. There is just no logical way to explain his speed at certain times, period.
Ayrun is cracked out of his mind. I always watch his vids then try to play and go "wth he made this look so easy"
@@hart7668A lot of it is knowing check spots, exploits (like the walking to lose chase) and so on. But the biggest thing that makes him cracked is his composure. I can maybe recall 5 chases in 800 hrs where i absolutely ran the killer perfectly. This man can do that fairly consistently at least once a match. That’s insane! If there was anyone you wanted to learn from its ayrun, but a lot of it is also dying and learning the maps, rng, etc. to make yourself comfortable and confident to take chase.
Ppff dont make yourself an idol. There are better survivors who still getting downed pretty fast by skilled killers. You can run m1 trapper for 3+- minutes but thats it, then you go down. Against strong killers expected time is around 40-60 seconds at max
Holy fuck a flick brother at 6:28
That snipe was nasty
lol man went nah bro u stay there for a min
That was slick
"Sit your ass back down"
Made the Renato thought he was goin for the Nancy, so he slowed down. There, the difference between a culmination of exp, knowledge and skill vs. cheating.
The ENTIRE rock chase is so suspicious. I swear to god at one point you can literally see him speed up on camera. 4:36 ish.
And one point he caught up to spooky and was basically on his butt. At about 4:26.
@@TheTobyOMGfor sure!
On top of that, he had hit him with a hatchet, meaning he got 5% haste for 5 seconds, and then Batteries Included activated, giving him another 5% haste boost, and he STILL didn't even catch him.
I noticed that too
yeah this was what i noticed, he definitely speeds up right there lol, cuz he knew he was about to be downed
That very first survivor was INSANELY obvious and I don't even play the game. Just from what I've watched, with no doubt, if you were at 115% speed there for any amount of time? He should have been caught with a vanilla melee, much less a throw. The fact that he did a full lap and made that window in time after dodging the throw? Physically impossible, straight-up.
Why don’t you play?
Edit: hopefully that doesn’t come off wrong, just curious, it’s a fun game, especially with friends.
@@lelandwiederhoeft6441 I stopped playing years ago because of how toxic the community is and the amount of people who cheat..
You still played extremely well against those cheaters/cheater, especially with the flick at the side of the house 6:28
Yeah he showed why they needed the cheats for sure
@@jaded-crown99 For real
I can't count how many times I'm like "Are they faster or am I trying to blame something else for losing the chase?" lol. The uncertainty is what drives me nuts.
Its insane how rampent the subtle-cheating is, its prevalent enough to warrant a lot of suspicion even with peprks to hid it you have to question it a lot.
I am awful as killer I am lucky to get one or 2 kills a game when I do it. But there have been so many games where it’s been so sus. I remember I was on gunslinger map only a few days ago. And one survivor was running round the little house at the back of the map. And I had to circle it 11 times just to get semi close. And still got no way near hitting them. No where to vault so followed the tracks perfectly. At first I thought they might be a dark theory totem giving them an edge. But when I checked all perks not one of the team had anything to give them a speed boost.
BRO there's no way! The beginning a shack?! That was pretty sussy
The fact that he vanished around every corner at shack definitely gave away that he was hacking . Sprint burst doesn’t last that long
In second Chase when he was on point to get touched I felt like he was playing the huntress before his buff
@@MkOnthaGame Cheating, not hacking. Because there is no way this ink stain on a white shirt pocket actually coded/programmed any of the cheats he was using.
I was survivor in a match against what I think was a Pig on chapel map (I'm in no way high MMR) and I had basically been the weaker person on my team. I saw pig entering chases on the HUD but i never saw her injure any of the other survivors, so she effectively tunneled me the whole game since I was the only one she could even injure in chase. I got downed right at end game on death hook and my team was trying to get me up and also cleanse noed. I was playing with a Kate, Nea, and Mikaeyla. The Kate was making no noise at all and I just felt like she moved fast. The Kate ended up getting downed right before noed was cleansed (Doors were open and the timer maybe had 30 seconds left, both doors were across the map, the rest of us were injured.) I started running to a door and see the other survivors running to the other door. I can see Kate laying on the ground, and the HUD showed her recovering in chunks of time rather than progressively getting full, then I watch her on the ground teleport to the middle of the map and then out the exit gate.
The other survivors were on console but me and the killer were on PC. I asked the killer in chat if their game was glitching and said that I saw the Kate teleport out the door. They said that they tried multiple times to go for the other survivors and said that they would be right on the Nea's ass only to round a corner and see her make huge distance, nowhere near enough time to use sprint burst or lithe - recover - then use it again. They said the only reason they tunneled me was to see if I was SWFing with them and try to force them to expose their cheats, which Kate ended up doing.
I have played enough and had maybe a handful of killer's cheat but never really noticed it when playing with survivors (I main survivor and am not good enough at killer to telling when a survivor is subtle cheating.) But I already find killer to be super stressful and can't imagine how infuriating and confusing it would be to play against subtle cheaters.
I also noticed a lot of tik tok streams and yt videos of people advertising cheating pop up more and more. I saw it once but then I started to notice multiple popping up daily, and BHVR straight up tells you that you can only report in game cheats from your matches, and they can't/won't investigate cheats reported outside of that.
Could have been on Epic rather than console. You get the global icon they aren't on the same platform, meaning of they aren't on steam but you are.
@@jj23273 You're right. It could have also been a SWF with only one hacker friend applying the hacks to the whole group, too.
Cheaters were probably playing on Epic on PC.
Oh yea that player was cheating. Right from the start as you enter killer shack. Played it off smart to not show it but you could see it.
"played it off smart"
Bozo was casually outrun 125% speed killer around shack multiple loops 😂
Over the past two weeks I’ve gone against 10 cheaters, 9 subtle cheaters and 1 blatant cheater who also has attacked people and their IP. It’s scary how many cheaters are in the game now and my biggest advice for people who think people are cheating is make a situation where they have to BLATANTLY cheat or do what spooky did and review your own game. Hope everyone stays safe from cheaters
I think the worst thing about these cheaters is that even after being shitty enough to use cheats, they're still some of the most toxic POS's post game.
It's so stupid, but sadly not surprising. Toxicity and cheating both come from the same issues (deep insecurity), so they typically show up together in the same people.
@@RobinHood3000 The worst is when cheaters call skilled players cheaters to validate their cheating and refuse to believe that a good player is just good.
The worst thing is actually that Bhvr doesn't give a shit anyway.
@@lewdjiggle2011 Cant really argue that one ahah.
that chase 4:25 was what sealed the deal for me. after you landed the hatchet you get your addon speed plus you get batteries included. and after he greeds the pallet it looks like he definitely speeds up 4:35 . and then the speedup before the window at 6:49
As a killer main, this is so validating. As Wraith, I played a game against a P100 Ash who, on death hook, I couldn't catch for the last 5 mins of the game.
If I could cheat against wraith I so would. 😅 gotta find counterplay for that ridiculously quick/teleporting mf
@@Twitchy-l1uthat’s sad
@@Twitchy-l1u There's tons of counterplay, what are you talking about? Wraith physically can't attack you while invisible and it takes like 2 seconds to be able to attack, just keep an eye out for shimmers and make sure you have a plan to get to a pallet or window.
I've had many games like this, it's even worse as a Ghostie because I don't have the mobility. I swear I've seen a Survivor that was just straight up faster than me, even with blood lust
@@Twitchy-l1uyou mean the m1 c tier killer 😂? Maybe your just awful if you need cheats to be wraith
100 percent cheating. You were 120 with bloodlust and couldn't catch up 🤣
I was pretty sure with that shack chase but what cinched it for me was when you chased him at main and he rounded the corner into the house. He so clearly sped up right there.
I agree
Yep, I play Trickster who has a similar movement speed to Huntress and I spotted the cheat right away. He was way too fast, literally just shift+w-ing away. What makes it worse is that the guy was clearly ass at survivor, he got caught so many times.
That's so cute, it had a vibe of:
Aaron, dude, tell me: am I an old man or is thus guy cheating? How do you kids do this?!
they make cheat files of what they want that cheat to be then they copy and past it in the game file and it becomes active
Im convinced on the speed but im also sure he was running a wall hack or something that always let him see your aura. How tight he played your double backs on the shack at the end just doesnt seem possible otherwise.
The tell for me for these kinds of cheaters is the no-hesitation always correct looping decisions, never stopping at check spots, and the general inability to catch up to them.
It’s crazy how the average survivor would never be able to actually catch onto these sorts of subtle cheats, it only takes some of the way more experienced and hardened players who can recognise shady play styles and unusual situations like these 💀
As a killer it is much easier to spot
It's prpetty easy to spot if you play killer more, especially when you stick to a single killer for a couple of games. You get used to your movement speed, and when you should be able to catch up to a survivor and get an M1 or M2. I don't play Huntress, I play Trickster but because of their similar base move speed I was able to tell that the Renato was cheating the moment he looped around shack, because I knew how long it takes to catch up to survivors on a projectile killer like Huntress.
He was pretty much out of sight the entire time, around the corner ignroning checkspots, basically just shit+w-ing away from the killer with little to no effort. The only reason he got caught so many times is because he sucked at looping.
@@BrightWulphthis is so true,i also main huntress and he was def cheating, shack is a good loop zone ngl but it only buys a bit of time especially for ranged killers, even with cheats he sucked at looping and didnt die just cause the streamer was actually curious about it
I love how you brought Ayrun in the analyze and investigate lmaoo
faced a claudette who was moving like 120% speed and thought i wouldn't notice it.
Imo the only time you can justify cheating is on single player games. No one gets hurt
Same, I had a survivor ds me everytime and didn't think I'd know.
@@Shadowheart181 Modding and exploiting bugs that are in a single player game is fine, but I still disagree with actual cheats it defeats the purpose imo.
@@jaded-crown99 yeah even in single player it ruins the game.
I can be bad as survivor but can you imagine being this kind of loser?
Can you imagine have this mindset?
I can't.
Cheaters are in a whole other level of low
If you cheat in a single-player game I can relate and give reason why you do this, but in a multiplayer game it's a whole new story of soreness.
It was obvious at shack when you threw a hatchet by the hook. Your throw was based off pure muscle memory of knowing he either gets hit or goes wide, and then you saw him already around the corner and the hatchet blow up on the hook. Your face said it all right then and there
6:29 that flick was diabolical haha xD
Before he got the hit tanked on this pallet at around 4:30 he was 100% faster than you around the loop - you literally close 0 distance its very obvious hes toggled there
I also had an encounter with a cheater liek two weeks ago, i was playing billy and i hit some really great curves, and then the guy started hardcore cheating, becasue he thought i was also hacking (idk if there are hacks to curve better, thats what he said i was using), but i still managed to kill him, so he just tped out, send the recording to bhvr and now hes banned, now i can brag that my billy is better than cheaters (kind of, he still got out but not in a legit way)
There's a hack for Billy that helps with curving, its an aim bot iirc which corrects the path of the hit mid swing so to the survivor it just looks like a wonky/laggy hit. It's very difficult to detect, even more so now with how they buffed his chainsaw.
I love how ayrun coached you in the ways of survivor so you know what to look for and he even taught you a tech for infinite shack looping.
It's always so satisfying when someone helps you realize you're not crazy. The secondhand vindication i got from the comparison shots was so grand, i can't imagine what it was like for you
Ayrun is an amazing content creator and is a huge part of the dbd community. love seeing these two legends to the game collab‼️‼️
6:28 Dude , that was nasty . He was so casual with it like “yeah i do this on a daily”
the streamer couldve killed him cause he was ass as a survivor, the only thing that kept him alive was cause he was cheating and that the huntress main was curious about it
So at 7:35 you can clearly see him pick up speed as he goes around the corner. He zips for a very brief moment. So he breaks LoS and starts using his speed hack but he did it too soon at that moment.
i thought that looked weird
I think Coconuts RTS pointed it out. Adding perks to the game that semi simulate subtle cheating was a pretty dumb idea. Since it ultimately let them hide the fact ever so slightly, that if you aren't paying attention you miss it or just assume something.
Sad to see them returning, but it isn't anything new. The ban hammer just wards them off for a while, but they always come back
Yeah they just get new accounts on Epic. It's so easy to cheat there.
Need to get rid of Epic then
I agree that those perks can really make us doubt on being legit or subtle cheating.
On the other hand Im really happy that those perks exist because sometimes you can feel really vulnerable against killers in the endgame (sayin for hope and adrenaline)
In the end its a 50/50 good/bad situation with those perks
Agree, its like BHVR looked at the subtle speed hacks and was all "we should make that legitimate, so people have to pay us instead". But all it did was just make it easier to hide the subtle cheaters.
Hello Mr. Loopz, I browsed through your UA-cam video catalog and couldn’t help but notice you have just 1 video of The Artist. She’s a great “A-tier” killer and I think it would be a blast to watch you play different builds with her. Thank you for your entertaining content!
You are right. I’ve severely lacked on covering this killer . I’ll fix this
Dude was 100% cheating, at every single corner he literally gets a speed boost as you can clearly see him going faster for a tiny mili second.. At 5:19 for example, notice how he "suddenly" goes faster right around that corner.. Also doesn't help that when he does turn around a corner that he's half way across the map all of a sudden..
Edit: At 7:20 he does the same thing..
so my favorite part of this is during the figure 8 segment you just see him zooming like quadruple time. I remember seeing this stream and noticing it a little but this time it just stuck out so bad.
Also from the Ayrun portion, that check point portion literally has made me last significantly longer in chases it's kind of silly. So thanks to him for that piece.
kind of insane that the entire team was desperately trying to save him too, clearly complicit
That was PERSONAL 😂 6:28
3:50
I love the inspection and the "interesting specimen"
Had me cracking up lol
That Aryun stuff was so informative. This was such a great video and showing of cheaters
Love the ayrun appearance at the end. Nice of him to help and his tips are always so informative and interesting. Dudes the GOAT of dbd in my book.
the amount of times this happened to me and just thought i was bad dude...
When in doubt, report for exploits. If they aren't cheating, nothing will happen, but if they are, they'll get a ban
4:26 the way he ran a whole lap around the rock and almost overtook you as soon as he's behind cover 😂
True that shouldn’t be possible because almost every killer is faster than survivor except nurse who is slower
@@massacrematt4613 nurse isnt slower
I’ve had a few games where stuff like this happens but I end up doubting myself more often than not.
This happened a month or two ago now. I was playing as the unknown in Hawkins lab. And this survivor who i would leave cross map, would suddenly show up right in front of me while chasing someone. And they never stayed down, even with no one around to pick them up. They would also heavily lag my game
Most annoying cheater interaction has to be that lagswitch forced server disconnect vulnerability
It's annoying but at least it's a one-use and done cheat. I'd honestly rather deal with that so I can go on to the next game then get stuck with Survivors who are too fast to catch, blatantly cheating, and holding the game hostage.
Best way to spot a cheater is to get them to shack and force a loop :p ! If they do 2 full loop without you catching up, they cheat. Everytime I see a survivor making 2 3 or even 4 loops around shack and calling me bad, I laugh super bad because it's mathematical, it's all facts, they CAN'T no matter how good they're, loop a killer more than once with M1, it's not possible.
Noticed a couple killers lately were i thought .. Damn he caught up quick has to be rapid brutality or save the best ... but nope . Also quiet a few billys running around with silent saws but no muffler add on . Btw love ayrun throwing that survivor tutorial out there
Saw a Ada with speedhacks through a wall once due to bbq and she moved from one side of the map to the other to unhook both teammates before the aura even turned off. She only would speedhack when she thought i wasnt looking.
Dude, I had a cheater in my game a few years ago while playing on Lerys and I was chasing a survivor as trapper and this guy looped me for 5 gens without getting hit. He always had a perfect distance and I never seemed to catch up even when we ran out of pallets. Never looked back or held check spots and no one was near by and this was before nft and when I checked his perks I didn't even see bloodpack. I was so confused, but what made it worse was he was paired with a ttv, but he wasn't live. I was confused af but I still think about it to this day and sometimes it pulls me away from the game to hesitate and think alot of people are cheating. I'm not saying I'm perfect because I've definitely been ran before for 5 gens (because of great teamwork and body blocks), but there is no way in hell I didn't get a hit in.
Imagine if you had an old beat up Monopoly board with half the pieces missing which your family has had since you were born, and you and your grandma play it with your kid sister - your grandma only plays in order to let your sister win to take her mind off her leukemia diagnosis. Cheating at DBD is even sadder than if you cheated at that game. Just... why?
lol, i don't know, i always thought that tryharding in this game and then being an ass about it always felt like bragging about winning against your little cousin, just why...
Ayrun's explanations are so helpful!😊
unfortunate that the game is so unbalanced survivors feel the need to subtle cheat to "fix" it themselves, i stopped playing entirely because playing killer is just way too easy unless you actively kneecap yourself by playing m1 only. i genuinely hope survivors get a rebalance so i can actually enjoy the game again, its probably my 2nd or 3rd favourite game of all time
Jesus, I know that most of the time a teammate won't realize that someone is cheating, but it always pisses me off more when the team is HELPING the cheater than just dealing with the cheater by themselves.
But yeah, I've been running into cheaters, too, most noticeably for me being wall hacks against my Sadako. Choy did a video just a little bit ago saying that, currently, we're going to be seeing an influx of hackers start coming into the game, and I believe him. Hopefully BHVR's banwave comes sooner this time then it did last time DbD had a cheater epidemic.
Yeah, if I notice a survivor blatantly helping their teammate (the cheater), I'll equally punish both of them if I can. Most of the time it's speed hacks and such where I end up slugging (which I find boring from both perspectives), cos they don't deserve to be killed on hook, bleeding out just draws it out for them and if they DC while being left on the floor, the hacks they're using go with them...
I also take a similar approach when there's two survivors obviously playing together with the intent to 'bully' me via Boil Over and No Mither/Exponential/Unbreakable combo. You can always tell as they'll run to somewhere that guarantees them wiggling free/getting up if the Book totem is well hidden, such as downstairs in Badham Main Building when basement isn't there
They can ban them all they want, but all you have to do to avoid the ban is create a new account on Epic or Steam (Family Share). Then inject a fake save so you don't start from scratch and there you go.
It's super easy to be a cheater in dbd.
@@darkodom You're missing the point. I know how easy it is to get around a ban -- I'm saying BHVR need to do a big, SWEEPING ban to temporarily lower the number back down, and to get the hackers (the real ones, not the dumbasses who just bought them, many of which are idiots who probably needed a step-by-step walkthrough on how to use their cheat so they probably don't know how to get a second account, so the number would actually be lowered) to sit down for a bit and figure out which hacks are now safe for use, which ones can be tweaked, and which ones are currently just dead.
BHVR is using Easy Anti Cheat. Their source code got leaked. They're never going to get rid of hackers -- but they can reset things for a bit until the numbers once again grow to the point where they need another wave.
I just love how Ayrun knows everything about the game
What’s the point of cheating? I literally feel zero gratification from winning if I cheat, like I just don’t get it
As a killer main at a very high elo, I can confirm there are A LOT of subtle cheaters. they use cheats to increase their chances of winning but they can still be killed, they are just increasing their odds of winning. its frustrating how obvious it is but you always question youself as a killer.
yeah, I got one the other day playing Myers made sure to tombstone him first so he couldnt have any fun. loser unironically waited the whole match just to try and defend the fact he wasn't cheating in the endgame chat.
I think this was a case of Spooky letting his chat gaslight him into thinking he was trippin bc from the very first chase it was obvious he was cheating. Then it just got worse and worse and they still told him it might be legit. There’s no way in any circumstance was any of those chases even remotely close to legit.
You cant believe how much i appreciate big streamers doing subtle cheating showcase. These psycho gaslighters ruin so many games for m1 folk.
The few dbd groups I'm in (FB and Reddit) i noticed subtle things that weren't adding up. In both groups i asked if anyone else had noticed things that seemed odd and off. Both groups immediately took down post saying bringing attention to it violations group rules.
I think walls for sure because of the slow vault inside as you were at the “most committed” place entering the house.
To play devil’s advocate, around 1:29 it sounds like you lose chase and it’s mixed up in the alert sounds.
During the 4:35 rock loop Batteries Included was more off than on. It only seemed to “blink” on around the pallet.
You and Ayrun are DbD vets, I trust your judgement and appreciate the measured approach going into this.
I recently played against a survivor who was super fast. He fell to the ground and crawled away extremely fast. It was faster than the normal running speed and I didn't find him anymore because of that. I could not put him on the hook. At first I was wondering if it was a perk but no, it was like this the whole entire game.
I used to be a killer main, but I've gotten so many cheaters that I've just given up. BeHaviour needs to fix their crappy anti-cheat.
I have noticed a LOT more subtle cheaters. I know people hate SM but just hear me out for a second. I had a game with a P3 Jake, I was chasing him and it seems pretty hard to catch up, at first I thought maybe it's just his pathing is super good or something, but then I got him Claw Trapped so +3% ms, I got a scan on someone else which with the Iri Batteries that's about 3.75% more ms, then he got scanned with a Claw Trap so -10% ms for him, and I had to still get to BL 2 in order to catch him. It seemed like he was probably around 110% ms. That was a more extreme example, but there have been a lot of cases where Survivors just feel a bit too fast, and it's becoming a serious problem. For some of them it's maybe only 3%, but since MFT we all know how impactful 3% truly is.
I usually play survivor and the subtle killer cheaters are becoming more frequent as well. Nothing more obvious then when running Distortion and yet they somehow know exactly where I am. Some will run revealing perks and use that as an excuse, even when I still have active tokens. And the solo Q survivors that cheat do it more blatantly, it's fucking sad that this shit keeps going on.
You need to understand that crows exist in dbd ...and they can hear your breathe or when you're walking lol
@@thedutywarlord264 I do understand that, I'm talking about when you're standing still and they still come directly at you. But good tip for beginners.
@@SmileMadeforWar it's weird but sometimes it happen the same when i play my p100 billy with no aura reading , i can travel the map and find a survivor. Btw by hearing you breathe or walking i meant the killer not the crows ( crows fly away if you're too close to them if you run ) i hope you get it haha
@@thedutywarlord264 I totally get what you're saying and know that it happens. Lol. I've been playing for years so I understand the mechanics. I was just saying that subtle cheating seems to be happening on both sides and it sucks. I literally think I'm going crazy or missing something with how much it's occurred in the last few months. 🤣✌️
@@SmileMadeforWar we are all going crazy with those cheaters 😂
I love the Dbd streaming community, like so many of you know each other and have such a great and fun to watch and helpfull relationship
The hatchet throw at 6:28 was very satisfying to watch lol he did not expect it at all.
I've seen a good amount of subtle cheaters and it's like you said BHVR keeps adding stuff that makes you question yourself. I'm of the mindset that anything that changes movement speeds needs to be a blatant give and take. Gaining movement speed should be at an extreme cost both so it makes spotting cheaters easier and because the entire game is balanced around the speed difference between killer and survivor. If the only cost of gaining a speed advantage is equipping a perk or addon it's broken.
Obvious cheaters can be funny, annoying or just a pain but it's nothing near the psychological torture of a subtle cheater. Is it you? Do you just suck? Are they really moving a little too fast? It's crazy
Ikr just took the words out of my mouth
Nah, once you have your pathing down as killer, this shit starts getting obvious.
For a subtle cheater he was pretty good at hiding those speed increases. Like, that was impressive reaction time
Just now a dude got downed in my game and crawled away from the killer very quickly like sprint burst speed doubled to 300% movement speed, crawling.
3:55 Interesting specimen. The Renato was in my live stream today.
The first hatchet showed him going super fast, it looked faster because the speed you gain after a hit plus the hacks, took away the “subtle” on it
I was once stuck in a locker stun loop for 10 minutes before i decided to DC. The cheater won. I am still scared.
i noticed the speed was weird immediately. ayrun is the goat here though at the end
Its so weird why Behaviour wont just make a line of code " If survivor runs faster than Normal or Perk Speed for its duration, immediately banned for life, as there cannot be any other reason, than cheating "
7:37 oh wow you can actually see him get a speed boost as he goes around the 2 corners here.
If a cheater applies their cheat on a non cheating survivor that survivor who doesn't cheat would get banned with the cheater. They do that sometimes too to throw the killer off of singling them out with wiggle hacks and temporary speed boosts. It would be ideal but a lot of normal players would not have dbd because of a cheater applying their cheats to them.
@@melodyabusa And there is no way for them to make sure that a player cannot MODIFY other peoples games o.O ?!
I sure hope thats not true, cause if thats the case, i wish there would be more cheaters, so they either have to abandon the game, or actually hire competent people to fix their shit
@@_Lunaria This is indeed true unfortunately. I was in a soloQ match with 2 survivors that used some blatant cheats. After noticing that I tried to let the killer hook me but the moment he picked me up I was instantly off as if I wiggled off. Even after getting downed right under the hook he couldn't hook me because they applied cheats on my survivor.
@@ijustwantsomecheese I think BHVR should just start working on DBD 2 at this point, if their code is such a mess that they cannot make it so cheaters cannot alter other players games.
And just make sure cosmetics etc are moved over, then its just a win win. As no cheaters, new graphics, no more spaghetti code etc etc
Just make a new game from the ground up, making sure to add features like " survivor running 0.0001% faster than allowed for longer than any perk allows and/or in too rapid succession, banned "
Like i cannot understand how it could be so difficult to do ?
Just have a line of code that keeps track of location and speed for all players in the match, then have accurate amounts allowed for speed and position on the map floor. And take into count things like perks. So then if survivor goes faster than allowed and/or longer than allowed, they are just insta banned.
(numbers are not accurate, this is just an example)
"Survivor speed is 3m/s with perks it can go up to +200% for maximum of 3 seconds, then its not possible until chase drops for X amount of time" Done.. i solved speed hacking..
6:28 that flick was INSANE
Its really good to see this video. Had loads of games this year were you now theres something not right, and you try to give them the benefit. Seeing this has proved that im not losing my mind..
If you look at this chase at 3:00 he can be seen going at very inconsistent running speeds, one second he’s going slower than spooky then the next he’s far faster, he only turns on his speed hack when around a corner he can’t be seen at…what a loser 🙏
Looking at the blood patterns at shack, he definitely was hitting some sort of speed boost where you turn the corner and see the hook. @1:18 you can see where his blood picks back up after he boosted.
Am I the only one who 100% knew he was cheating the moment he looped that rock ? Not because of him looping twice and maintaining distance, but on the moment he got hit. Spooky follows, doubles back, and the Renato comes out of behind the bush and takes the hit. Except.... The moment he comes from behind the bush, he's just SO QUICK, like he goes from one side to the other too fast. The guy was 100% increasing his speed everytime he was out of sight, except he messed up at that moment and showed it to you because he didn't expect the double back.
It was the loop at around 4:25 that sealed it for me- he lapped you around the bush-rock thing. Like nearly 100% looped you to the point that he would have been chasing you .
Normalize exposing cheaters and letting anyone who runs into them know to report them
I’d rather a Cheater send me flying into the skybox and putting me on top of shack to mess around than to just bully the killer and pretend to not.
Edit: it’s very obvious he’s turning up the speed near the rock, when he turns the rock the first time he’s right in front of the killer and then magically speeds up past the plank to then slow down, and it happens twice in a row. That’s not how speed boosts work if I’m not mistaken.
I have a video up that also confuses me, at this point it felt like cheats but it's a streamers actual Dbd account so I feel I got outplayed but can't explain how.
Had a Nancy that kept on using decisive strike when i haven't even hooked her. I was able to hook her once, but she kept on doing it. And she didn't have it at all. And when i was playing survivor doing solo q, a nea was hacking, saw her slide around the map downed and when she was the last one left, she knew exactly where hatch was gonna spawn, the killer downed her pretty far from the hatch, and she just teleported back to the hatch. Going against hackers are the worst.
3:13 You can clearly see him run too fast here, it almost seems like he's gliding. It was pretty clear he was subtly speed hacking in the first chase around shack. Just pinpoint where he is in relation to you and then check if you gained any distance when turning the corner. He's not even close to being legit.
Ran into a killer being controlled by ai and downing everyone in less than a min. Love the collap need both of y’all more
There are no killer AIs in the game. You ran into someone using hacks for constant aura reading, probably haste, and likely aimbot to make sure that they always hit.
@@atlasgraham154 there are killer bots you know, that can be run on cheat things, usually will see them instant tping around slapping you and instant hooking you to a random hook or basement, so yes there is no natural killer ais, but there are cheat ones
@@atlasgraham154there literally is if you have the cheat. I have the cheat but that’s boring 😂
Ayrun in full up analytical/sweaty nerd mode instead of looping killers for fun is so damn interesting
I went against a cheating Lara Croft yesterday, she moved just quick enough that you could tell she was faster than other survivors, but didn't have any haste perks. She also had no levels or cosmetics which was the cherry on top, directly telling me she wasn't legit.
I'm finding myself asking "why's this guy so fast?" a bit more in dbd lately lol
