The most impactful thing pastor Mike ever said to me was, 'what are you doing in the last half hour of your evening that you can't give up to spend the first half hour of the day with Him?' Though I'm heavier on the Word than anything and it's turned into more like an hour - but nothing has transformed me more! Thank you Pastor Mike!

I’m so happy that pastor said that it’s okay if your not ready to be all the way in yet!!! Because when I first started my journey that’s where I was. And I use to fault myself because I thought that I was so behind. But when you start your new journey it doesn’t all come at once. You take baby steps and continue to grow!!! It takes years for us to learn unhealthy habits and it’s going to take some time to unlearn them. Don’t rush the process that’s why it’s called a journey!! Go through the journey and not around it!! Also about the cursing part, I’m so glad that he’s understanding because you have to learn to meet people where they are!! And not try to throw holy water on them and condemn them, that will literally make them run away from Christ!!!

Imma pause this at 15:17 and say this right here, I have been on Proverbs 8 (and all throughout)...studying it...reading it...applying it... 28:49, Hosea 4:5 (empty the clip) "Therefore shalt thou fall in the day and the prophet also shall fall with thee in the night, and I will destroy thy MOTHER." I just wanted to touch on this because of my connection with John 4:26, the woman at the well...kinda wrapping it around Proverbs because Knowledge, Wisdom and Understanding were personified as Women, so was Simplicity or Ignorance. (I think it's Moslems that say "a nation can rise no higher than its women" or something like that.) (Proverbs 7: The Young Man Void of Understanding: Path of the Harlot) I say all that to say this, as I was reading Proverbs, by seeing these words being personified as a female, it made me feel as though I was supposed to become these, I needed to obtain these, I needed to embody these...because as an ignorant woman, I can lead a man to death...but as a woman of understanding, knowledge, wisdom, prudence...I could lead him to the Kingdom. I discovered a regulation that saves the Public housing agencies from being sued by families for failure to uphold the Housing Quality Standards. 24 CFR 982.407 states that families under HUD housing cannot sue Public Housing Agencies or HUD. We have no right to do so. I wouldn't have signed a contract knowing it will strip me of my rights. But because there are nothing but wicked people in these offices, I have not gotten any help and I cannot get this word out. I have studied these housing regulations and the documents for government assistance, and I have not gotten anywhere. They will not read the contracts. They wont read the regulations that we could use to protect ourselves. I am actively witnessing Hosea 4...I mean Proverbs 8:35 & 36...I mean anything about suffering from a lack of knowledge and understanding. I'm seeing it play out in real action. I just keep studying and asking GOD for a way to put this information out. The roach infestations, the mice infestations, the mold, the broken down projects, there is are a few regulations that's supposed to protect people from being housed this way 24 CFR 982.401 24 CFR 5.703 but because of 24 CFR 982.407, our people struggling in these projects will never see justice. Love you Pastor Mike and brilliant message but I really struggled with the amount of times "Oh God" "Oh my God" was said, lot of times in relation to jokes made to emphasise your point. Where does this fall with taking the Lord's name in vain? I agree that some of the times this was said it may not have been in vain but a lot of the times I don't feel this was the case. I absolutely love your teachings which is why I felt the need to comment. For us British, words like 'crap' and 'pissed' are deemed as cuss words and 'oh God' as taking the Lord in vain. For the outsider, or new christian, new listener, this can turn them away eventhough I know it's not viewed the same way in the US. It's a shame that this could lead them to miss your amazing messages - just something to be aware of. 🙏🙏

The message today has taught me how to pray. I literally realized that my prayers were not Kingdom prayers… they were just my desires. My prayer today on will be Kingdom prayers… asking God for His will to be done… to show me the Kingdom and through Faith, God will bless me with the things I need. Matthew 6:33 is now my anchor scripture and I thank Pastor Todd for calling me out on my Kingdumb!
