Linford lakes ~ Redhouse Part one - Carp fishing

Linford lakes is situated just outside Great Linford near Milton Keynes.
It has both member and day ticket waters and a tackle shop on site.

Lovely looking lakes. Just a shame about the constant drone of car traffic. Gone are the 80's and 90's when these types of places were a peaceful get away for a days fishing.

Have you ever tried wrapping your baits in armour mesh (or ladies tights for the cheapskates lol)? A lot of people rate it as one of the best ways to stop crays, it would also allow you to get away with a softer, more soluble bait
