@@izzyrainydayz well, go to wattpad, go to the top stories. The ones that are published and popular. Yes, they exist. And what you find is that most rich men love to randomly become obsessively infatuated with random no name women on the street. Infatuated to the point of rape most times. I know, I was shocked too.
Ooh, let’s not forget that Massimo said that he wouldn’t touch her without her consent at the beginning of the movie but continued to put his hands on her without her consent like 2 seconds later and throughout the rest of the movie
I was waitttinnng for her to bring that up. Like just one time LITERALLY once. If he had his hand around her neck I was waiting for her to say something “Oh, did I give you consent to do that?” Or just something but like it never happened. I was just like Massimo....the disrespect..I-

One of the first scenes is him grabbing a stewardess and dragging her towards his crotch making her deep throat him--gross. That's sexy and consensual? This is a man's fantasy not a woman's.
I remember a scene from a book I was proofreading where the female protagonist is basically getting the shit kicked out of her, and the guy is calling her Baby girl throughout the whole thing. Yeha. She gets with him by the end of the novel. Welcome to female oriented novels. I'm not even sure what age demographic this is. If someone knows, please tell me, I can't go on.
You know what? I bet Massimo sent that girl to seduce Laura's boyfriend so that he could have pictures to show her when he did kidnap her in order to make her more susceptible to falling "in love" with him.
@@pixiestxNyomouf i think that’s he actually did in the book. Martin (the boyfriend) was given stuff in order to be more susceptible to becoming drunk and Massimo put a bunch of guys in place so he couldn’t go after Laura or smth. (Among other things) Found this out watching Amanda the Jedi’s video. It’s just 🤮
I thought the same when I saw the movie bcs why would they be following him and taking photos of him cheating ? They knew he was going to cheat and with who.
Can we also mention that at the beginning the father dies from a sniper shot on this island surrounded by hundreds of meters of water and this building is the highest elevation we see? Plus the sniper doesn’t care to kill anybody else AND we don’t know who or why. Idk why that annoys me so much.
Ya know, the magic is that he is hot and got money. Disgusting isn't it? I even heard that the main female character in movie change her look in that way, she looks like a woman who wrote a book..
no! she finds his heavenly @$$ attractive! I mean the guy is hot but there's gotta be something more within him in order for me to be attracted to him, ,laura on the other hand finds his exceptional looks adequate to fall head over heels in lust(not love).
"You know how Fifty Shades was super popular?" "Ya" "Let's just do that, but like worse. You know, so we can appeal to that demographic, what's that demographic again, Johnson?" "Women, sir?" "That's it! So what do women like?" "Money!"

This movie was soo bad. Both characters were so unlikable. He was predatory and one dimensional and she was so annoying and non dimensional. The writing was bad, nothing made sense, the music didn't go together and honestly even the sex scenes were pretty basic considering that they tried to do a erotica movie and he's been established as such a dominant and aggressive character. Substanceless and clearly aimed at hormonal teenage girls and lonely middle aged woman because those demographic can't get a film with any resemblance of a story.
The whole him saying "let me show what you missing " and then precededs to stand perfectly still while some girl gives him top. Sir, at least moan or some shit I was expecting like full on dive on the cookie, bc after all, erotic movie, but no The only erotic movie, I watched that started with the men regretting becoming a father too soon, was hooter than this lol
@FLU but Netflix is definitely the worst offender having the largest collection of shows and movies. You should check out a drew gooden video where he talks about the problem with Netflix.
Has no one talked about the accent yet? I honestly think onr of the reason the main character speaks with a heavy accent simply because it sounds "sexy". If this guy had an indian accent, people would be cracking up at every line. Sad but true
As a pole i can say this sounds to me like a polish accent, so I think it is just the fact that the actor speaks with it naturally and does not care for appropriate pronunciation. Much simpler but equally sad.
Welcome to most female oriented novels. As a proofreader, the amount of novels with female protagonists who basically embody this movie, is staggering.
what do you mean “finally someone said it.” ALMOST EVERYONE considers this movie full of kidnapping, rape, and abuse. mixed w the bad acting and cringe music... worst movie ever
As a polish gal - the worst part was that after this book came out you could see so many women reading it in a bus and just.... you deserve better then that love
As a woman, when I saw this I didn't find it romantic, it was just creepy?? Like I feel as if it glorifies abuse, and even when the woman starts liking him it feels weird because surely it's just Stockholm syndrome not actual consent?
You guys realize it's a movie right? It's supposed to be a fantasy or a kinck that's it they're not telling you to go f***k a mafia man and if a movie can influence you this much well then u have an issue, it like watching a p***n with a man slapping a woman and saying it's promoting violence against women and now man are gonna slap women.,that's not how it works we all have our fantasies let us just have fun. We can't even watch a damn movie lately without you guys making A huge deal out of nothing
@Fatima Zafar that's the whole point of movies, it's giving you something that you wouldn't get in real life, it's the fantasy . If we become this critical over dumb things like this then we should just stop watching movies, because there are movies about kidnap, rape, divorce, cheating, abuse, death, illnesses... And so on so if everything is sensitive topic to you then stay away from internet and all electronics. Of course they're going to add romance to it because who would watch a movie about a girl that got kidnapped period? Would you have watched the titanic if it was just a sinking ship and no Jack and rose? Would you watch movies about people dying with cancer if the person just died period, never loved or never lived. Exactly you need to build the story in movies its not just beginning and end you need something in between. I can't believe that I'm explaining this I feel like kids understand the concept of movies better than these "grown ups" in the comments being dramatic 🤦🏽♀️
@Fatima Zafar I have a strong feeling that you still are in your teenage years so I understand why you're so sensitive about everything, I used to be like that too in my teenage years too tbh so it's fine no worries we all got over this phase, thankfully lol
Netflix released 'Cuties' to make everyone forget that they also did this. They are now preparing a fresh abomination to make us forget they released 'Cuties'.
It’s ok, every country has made some shitty film. It’s unfortunate for Poland that this polish film got picked up by Netflix. But you made good films too, I recently watched “Zimna wojna” and that was a really good drama/romance.
Omg I'm not in a relationship but a guy I like called me babygirl once and I told him to never call me that again. I don't really know what about it makes me so angry, but I hate it is what I know. He laughed, and told me he'll never call me that again.
I'm still hoping that she was playing him the whole time, faked her death, and is coming back to destroy him in the sequel. Now THAT would be a movie worth watching.

I don't know I just don't give important to things that don't need my attention. It's very rare for me to find something offensive and I wish that everyone was like that but we all know how sensitive people became.
fun fact: due to the domino effect, 9/11 was the reason 50 shades got written. (gerard way witnessed 9/11 and it inspired him to start MCR. stephanie meyer said she was inspired by MCR when writing the twilight books. and 50 shades was originally twilight fanfiction.) (EDIT: its actually the butterfly effect im dumb)
As a polish person, I am deeply ashamed that this movie exists. We all hate it (besides Karen's, which I can not stand, they drive me crazy trying to protect this thing...), it's really awful, I just want to forget about it's existence... I don't know how it got through to the worldwide market, but it did, and I hate it with my whole heart :)
I don't know if someone agrees with me but I think part of the reason this kind of movies are popular with many women is because there's a lot of women who feel like it's shameful and dirty to just go to a porn site and watch some porn movies. (That's what those horrible men do, not us! We are so much better! ) But when they get basically the same thing wrapped in some colourful package ( and available on Netlix wtih all the cartoons and other "normal" stuff) they can pretend like they didn't come here to watch other people having sex. They somehow feel, I don't know... permission to enjoy it? Even if it's as degrading as this sh**t.
Dagmahra I agree and I feel as though the only women who really like these kinds of movies are women who are toxic or who have been conditioned to like toxic relationships such as theirs
Why do romance movies promote toxic and creepy relationships bro some mafia boss having a vision of me and tracking me down isnt romantic its creepy honestly the first bf was nicer and funnier
Okay, but ... let's imagine it was Laura working on the laptop at home. Her boyfriend comes up to her, kisses her, and then gets mad when she asks for half an hour to finish working befor kissing his hand relentlessly. Women would get pissed at him for not respecting her working time and saying no. It's a good thing not a single woman I know liked this movie or characters.
this story just sounds like the fanfiction I wrote back when I was 13, and I'm pretty sure even that had better writing and a plotline than this. it's kinda sad that some girls actually believe that this kind of relationship is okay (like, what kind of person finds " are you lost bay girl?" sexy, i died inside a little bit everytime he said it) anyway im glad i stumbled upon your channel
I'm convinced that this is how they wrote this movie: Writer: "hmm...what do women like?" Employee: "marriage!" Writer: "amazing!" Employee: "shopping!" Writer: "you got that right!" Employee: "kittens!" Writer: *"kidnappings?! Great!!"* Tiny UA-camr here btw 🥰🥰🥰
@@TaeThei yeah she also thinks that feminists don't need to fight for anything anymore because she has never earned less money than her male co-workers and has never been discriminated (though i think she has but excused it in her small brain and thinks it's something normal) so she thinks that no woman ever experiences that
This is like a perverse take on old Meg Ryan movies where the female protagonist is a professional in her late 20s-early 40s and she is so cranky and sad until MAN happens to her life
It kills me in the scene when he had Laura chained up and had some random woman come in. And he was like “ I’m gonna show you what your missing” missing out on what? The chance to do all the work
I thought that the shopping montage at the beginning was her following the age-old joke/advice your parents tell you: if you ever get kidnapped be so annoying that they let you go
I mean Martin was saying happy birthday in Italian. That’s why he was reading off a script. He was being a bit romantic. She was way too annoyed with him before the whole cheeting thing was discovered. She was A sucky girlfriend.
Man movies like these just are an insult to women by enforcing the highest of stereotypes and pushing the idea of sex being the only thing you should value.
Trivia: the actor who plays Massimo is most famous in Italy for his role in the fiction 'Sirene' (Mermaids), where he played a secundary role, a rare merman who fell in love with a woman and left the sea, leading three mermaids to look for him in the humans' world, with the whole shebang that it entailed. The role required him to stay shirtless, mostly.

But when they get basically the same thing wrapped in some colourful package ( and available on Netlix wtih all the cartoons and other "normal" stuff) they can pretend like they didn't come here to watch other people having sex.
