A beautiful person whose beauty also lies in her relationship with her parents, her vocation and I'm sure, her partner; which demonstrates the blessings a father and mother shared with their daughter.

In college I was taught that dirt was something you swept up from the floor; soil is used to grow things, or in the case of civil engineering build with. Love the 8N tractor.

Interesting to learn a little about your topography. I don't farm, but I spend my childhood working on my Grandpa's/Uncle's farm here in Minnesota. I miss those times; there's a connection to the land that remains to this day. Here, in the land of 10,000 lakes, our water is surrounded by land. Where you farm, your land is surrounded by water. :)

Well done Tara! Thanks for the tour. :) I think it's so cool that you live on an island. And your grape vines look amazing!

Oh man, that old Chevy pickup looks in great shape! Beautiful property! I lived in Ca from 2001 to 2004. Loved everything but the San Diego traffic.. Northern Ca and the Desert were my favorite parts of Ca. So much different landscape and values than what people usually think of when they think of California.

the roses are very important, they are really the detectors of sickness on your grapes; sorry for my bad English, I m from Belgium, Flemish part. with some beautiful grapeyards. I like your way of doing and learning.

Thanks for the Farm tour. Your family has an incredible amount of old/new small and huge equipment. Fodder for another video or 2. 9 Tractors? I had never heard of Triticale, thought it looked like Rye. Thanks Google. It would also be great to see exactly how your siphon tubes work. Looks like you cover the end with your hand, jam it in the waterway, pull it back quick and let it go. Ingenious.
Your land must be very level to gravity irrigate.
Love the roses. Fleabane has moved from the West to Ontario Canada and is wicked. RoundUp ™ does not seem to touch it. Really bad in Soyabeans if not sprayed at the right time.

Thanks for sharing, I spent lots of time water skiing on the Delta. Love that area, still have family that live in Discovery Bay their back yard is the Delta. Summer time I know how hot it gets. Love the channel and content.

If your dad is like my dad he won't retire. My dad said as of noon on his 85th birthday he was hanging it up. At noon of his 90th birthday he was hanging it up. He turned 95 this April 27 and didn't even mention retirement. Still out to check the cows before breakfast 7 days a week. Enjoyed the tour.

So cute, Tara! Your parents’ farm is one of my favorite places in the delta. I didn’t know your vineyard was their backyard! I bet your mom loves that view 😍

What is trid? Corn is supposed to be knee high by the 4th of July in Minnesota which probably can't plant in April.

  • @billdill6715

Usually chest high by the 4th in the Midwest, but not this year.

Do any of the steel wheeled tractors still run. Should keep them out of the weather to preserve them.

@@TaraBeaverCoronado Thank you. I realized I was wrong as two minutes later you told us where you were. I thought you were farther north. I grew up in Washington State on a 600 acre farm. Have relatives down in Vacaville area.

Do you have drain tile in that flat black soil? Looks like it could grow 300 bu/acre corn if you could manage the water table.

Dad justified to be upset about fleabane around the vineyard....very bad weed! Nice clean berms though! Corn late, but will be okay if no early winter. Many farmers have triticale down AND weedy! Overall VERY NICE!
