ok according to alter hismena's skills she is still water element slash based on top 2 skills 1 that is premeptive attacks all enemies with water slash with debuff of weapon break slash 3 times that can change based on users attack type and decreases in power if used consecutively and can awaken zone and buff time count x2; and the other attacks a single enemy 4 times with guaranteed critical and increase strength based on number of types of buffs on user with max of 8 for times 8 and in another zone we attack again is what makes it better
I pulled for this banner as i didnt have hismena in any form. And luckily hit the Alter version in 2600 chrono stones. Awesome stuff for me. And given no 4.5 hismena rateup, i decided to single pulls instead of multipulls Also this attack again wont help u nuke 2 hp stoppers, eva cant either. Only way to do this is using eot units or counters

I couldn't resist and pulled for her (and got her!). All I can say is that she is an excellent unit. If alterDewe is the ultimate element offensive support unit, she is the untimate weapon type offensive support unit. The difference between these two is that altDewe is 70-30 offensive support-DPS-wise while altHismena is 40-60 offensive support-DPS-wise. Bottomline, she is more DPS oriented but she increases the firepower of the whole team as well. She has a very interesting gimmick as well. Her weapon type becomes the most predominant weapon type of the front line units. Allow me elaborate on that a bit because this calls for some clarification: 1. She, as a slash unit, is not counted. The "predominant weapon type" is deduced by the other 3 units: you need at least 2 slash units for slash-alt-Hismena, at least 2 pierce units for pierce-alt-Hismena and the same goes for blunt and magic. 2. Staff units don't count as blunt units. 3. If the 3 front units that determine her weapon type are one of each type (ex. Foran AS (pierce), Akane AS (slash), Amy (blunt)) her weapon type is determined randomly. 4. Her flexibility status (the ability to change weapon type) is not permanent. If you switch an ally out, substitute an ally with a back row unit or an ally is knocked back or knocked out and that changes the front lines composition, next turn altHismena will have a different weapon type as well. Unlike Ewan AS her weapon type is not affected by any zone. 5. Got her with just 1k stones! Finally some luck since my last succesfull pull was As Milsha. I didnt use her much yet but she does have some interesting mechanics. This gave me the motivation to start the recent content since its been a while since i played. I only came back for the battle simulator.. Anyways thanks for the video gamer Dad!
I noticed that the black hair outside purple hair inside is becoming a thing again. P.A. from Bocchi and now Hismena alter are 2 new characters with that effect. I guess there are some Kampfer fans (or at least Shizuku fans) still out there. I blew the free 1k stones I got after starting the Symphony but didn't get her. Got another 5* Tsukiha, though.
Got her on the 2nd 10x pull as soon as the patch launched. Unfortunately I've worked so much the last two days I haven't gotten to her quests yet. Looking forward to 4 days off after today!
I had no reason to pull on this banner, I have Hismena NS and AS, I could just farm, but I liked her character in the episodes and characters quests so I went for her. Pulled 2 singles, got a 4.5 Mighty and garbage. Decided to use the 1k free stones from the event and she came home from a silver door. I wish I had more time to play but I really like the Tales game and Lloyd is one my favorite characters of all time so I have to at least play through the story...and still haven't done Chrono Cross yet...i'm so behind lol
I have Nagi and Hismena so i pass. Waiting for some special banners for christmas, new year or global first. If not im going all in on Flam AS banner in february/march. Minalca is with Melissa so this will be another pass for me.

Didn't get anything above a 4* Probably would have been better off trying the special banner, when it was here, or even Claude ES again. I've got a lot of the strong water units.

Honestly, that's normal. I've spent up to 30k stones without seeing a single 5 star unit and other times got 2 5 stars in a single 10 pull. It evens out eventually, the dry streaks just suck.q
The first two 10x pull was meh. And was gonna pass if the third pull got nothing also. But lady luck is not abandoning me for good i guess. Got her and zeviro AS which i didnt have yet. I'm happy 😄😄
Hi wil! Thank you for the advice as always. I pulled for her (waifu of coz) and is blessed that she came home. As you said she does wonders for water teams and I used her to clear nagi's true manifest battle (with alter shion in the team of coz) with ease. I'm having lots of fun using water teams (granted enemies don't absorb it). Wil, I'm not sure if this is a glitch but apparently necoco's AS can be unlocked. Can her treatise be farmed now?

Yes you can skip and farm the opuses to sidegrade your Hismena using your red keys (they don’t drop in Garulea type dungeons). Welcome back! Necoco AS is a great one to save for.
Hey wil, I know it's unrelated but I would like to ask, which are considered good healers in the game even from gacha? I've been using Morgana until now but I would like to have a real healer/support...
Nowadays you can use units that have dps and healing so the answer isn’t as simple. Pure healers like Mariel aren’t used as often since in boss fights some zone setters have heals at end of turn. Pizzica has a song that heals and recovers status at end of turn. Some units like Necoco or AS Melina manifest hit and heal as well
Too late I got 4.5 Alma and 4.5 Shannon. Dual debuff for water is something I am very lacking. I am super excited for alma. With her, my favourite waifu AS misty WILL END EVERYONE WHO DOES THE ULTIMATE SIN OF "BREATHING". Very enemies weak to crystal and those which are weak to it. I will say this alter hismena is orleya power level. Maybe even better. I will say she is lot more valueable than minalca consodering how already broken fire is compared to water.
