Hello. I drew it by hand. I first painted the circle then just filled it in. But I first drew it very lightly so that it didn’t show in the demo. Then filled it in afterwards during the demo with a darker pencil so it was clearer what I was doing. Regards H
Hello. Thank you. I used water based black floor paint. I thinned it out with water. Then painted from the darkest area outwards and gently wiped away the paint working from the outside in to get the shadowing effect. Regards H

Thank you for your quick reply. I’m planning to do a rectangular hole on my porch walkway. Hopefully I can get the shading right by following you. 😊
