Thank you for this video. I accidentally 'cashed out' my entire Cash App balance...while only attempting to transfer a significantly smaller amount to my bank and send that to someone on STEP. I was frustrated. But just said, "Okay, God. Sometimes, you just mess up. 🤷🏾♀️ Hopefully, I learn something from this." And I was lead to ask the question in an online search, "Can I cash out on STEP?" Your video came up in the top few results. 😌 So, while it 'hurt' to unintentionally loose that Cash App 'cash out fee'...I found your video and know what to do next time. And now also have a UA-cam channel to reference in the future. 🙂 Thanks, again. 👍🏾
oh my goodness you literally just saved me I was supposed to pay someone back but didnt have enough money on my cashapp but on step i did i was so scared
Thanks, this answered all my questions! It's unfortunate that it's not as easy getting the money back into cash app... I wanted to take advantage of some of the cash card boosts from time to time.
Yeah, I didn't get into all the details about why, but you would be able to go the other way if Cash App played nicely with Plaid. Then you could link Cash App as a bank account in Step. The other option is to open a bank account and use that to go between. Capital One Money is a great option.
So I need to have a debit card ASIDE from step to use cashapp? Or is there another way around this. When I click on my face in cashapp and go to link bank there is only an option for "Link debit card" and as we know the step card is actually a credit card, so this doesn't work. Do you think a Visa prepaid would suffice?
You can use Cash App without linking a debit card or bank account, but yeah, it works a lot better if you have a regular bank debit card to go with it. If you're under 18, Captial One Money is a great bank account that has a regular debit card and no fees.
Okay but when I try to connect the two apps like I trying to connect step to cash app like I pressed the profile and I'm trying to find link a card but I can't find it and mind you I don't have a step card yet because I have to wait for my dad to get a new ID card because it keep on saying his ID expired like I wish step accept expired ID cards so it make it more easier for the parents
You could... but if people are paying you on Cash App, why not just use Cash App? For security, it's probably best if you have a regular bank account to keep most of your money in. If you're under 18, Capital One Money is a great option for a bank account with no fees.
