Saiyuki 最遊記 is a manga which is loosely based on the Chinese literature classic, Journey to the West. It is about a monk named Genjo Sanzo who receives a mission to travel to the west with a group of three youkai (devils) to stop anyone from reviving the evil god Gyumao. It was quite popular and this song was used for the drama and movie version. Yes, the band of adventurers have to fight ("let's kungfu") their way across the world 😄
