I shop at Dollar Tree every month. Not just food shopping, but I love the selection of body washes and matching shampoos that are sold for $1.25 each. My hair looks fantastic, and my skin is so soft and moisturized. They are 100% better than the higher priced ones sold in other stores, and so are the scents. I also love the smaller size food items that are sold. Perfect for us single retired people.
FYI 8.1oz is pretty standard for cans of baking powder, but the price is over $2.00 at Aldi and Walmart. So $1.25 at Dollar Tree is awesome. Especially if you do a lot of baking.
Thank you for the information. Since we moved to a new state, the Dollar Tree’s around us don’t have much of a variety of products. Some of the Dollar Tree’s look like they are struggling to stay open.
Good morning Danno and Jess. I’ve noticed Dollar Tree stopped carrying their cartons of chicken broth. They had both cans and 32oz cartons. Also, I hate that they’ve put the price on the product. If you want to use it for gifts or make a gift basket etc., I hate that you can’t remove the price from the product. Have a great day!
Thanks for the video, I enjoyed it. Was that shelve milk that I seen? It's nice to have that in your house in case you run out of milk. Merry Christmas
Changing the name of the business is financially prohibitive because it costs a lot of money. Think about everything that has the Dollar Tree name/logo on it...shopping bags, window signage, outside store signage, etc. It was a HUGE financial investment to REMOVE the 'Everything's $1' from each and every store throughout the country a couple of years ago. It would drive up the prices higher than what they currently are.
They need to or you want them to? The way prices have gone up and will continue to go up, name changes would be unrealistic. Most consumers kind of get that.
New to your channel but thought I would mention this... MANY TIMES I will buy stuff just because it is in a glass container like Marmalade jelly ( gross) but in a decent size or shape bottle I'm grabbing it to reuse for other stuff😮
I'm here in New Jersey. Glass vases are now $3.00 in the DT in my town. I have some round-shaped vases that I was thinking of donating, but I'll be keeping them now.
I might be paying a bit more for smaller portions but I save money in the long run. It's just my husband and me and if I buy a full size ketchup, let's say, I end up throwing away most of it because it expires. Same with lots of the other products. Smaller sizes mean less waste for us.
Kroger sells the Ragu for $3.99 reg. on sale $2.49 -$1.00 if you buy 5 . The cauliflower pasta is gluten-free and delicious, the windmill cookies are great with coffee. The big blue Christmas ornaments pack for $5.00 is good deal ,Wal-Mart that is about $15.to $20. Thank you for sharing your Dollar Tree adventure. Safe travels as you visit all the stores to show us great buy the Christmas season. God bless you both 🙏 ❤️
The X in X-Mas is the Greek letter that stands for Christ. That may not change your mind, but I don’t feel like it's a slam against Christ. Thank you for the great video, as always!
I am amazed how many men sweat by the awesome cleaner, I love to use the gift bags and fit them in my current wall art frames they are a big impact and ez way to ad more umph to your holiday decor😊 , my hubbie also likes the tuna cracker snacks and I too like the hunts brand of spaghetti sauce, but my fav is the traditional, I try to buy things grown. in the USA, especially those her in FL, it seems the more we import the more the number of recalls we get and the quality of the replacement of those products are less as always Dano TY for sharing...😊😊
Good Morning, Danno and Jess! Your beautifully decorated apartment inspired me to get my decorating done yesterday! I haven’t been in the Dollar tree since all the changes. So much more expensive!
Dollar Tree coconut milk and what looks like 'evaporated' milk are inferior. They are watered down and/or contain oil, as the "filled" evap. milk is. That isn't a terrible price for pecans at that size, 1.5 oz. They are $4.99 for 4 oz at Kroger. Art paper/journals/tablets, colored pencils, fancy pens, special crayons are a good present even for teens, let alone coloring books and fancy crayons for kids.
My dollar general in Oklahoma is the same size and over a dollar more. I buy most of my coffee at dollar general when it goes on sale. Last week, I got two Folgers Colombian coffee (regular size) for $6.00 each.
Baking powder cans I have are 8.1 ounces also, different brand, 6 months old. I don't buy any convenience foods at $5.00 for 4 ounces. Coffee is already downsized to 10 or 11 ounce bags. I no longer buy Campbells soup because of GMOs and sodium. Peace and Blessings everyone!
Our DT's in Gainesville are some of the worst out there, never stocked, always looks trashy, went in briefly Sunday for baggies, could smell pot all over the store, they had zero pie filling on the shelf and not much Christmas stuff. I saw another UA-cam channel in Rome Georgia do DT and their store looked great and so many things ours do not carry, floors are always dirty in both of our DT's, I feel like I need a shower when I leave which is prob why I avoid that store and pay a little more most of the time.
The strawberry cookies are kinda yuck nothing to them, id rather have either the mint cookies or the ones like girl scout cookies with the peanut butter in the middle. I seen the lanolin pain patches were on recall but I already used mine.
I work at Dollar General ...I heard that Dollar Tree prices are going up to $1.50 sometime in January. So just giving you the heads up keep a eye on the prices.
You are correct about the 18 ounce Strawberry Preserves. Good deal at $1.25. Was that a 64 Oz detergent? There are smaller sizes mostly found out there now.
I just now saw this video pop up and thought I'd watch...are u from Ohio? Im from Ohio i live outside of Newark Ohio in a real small town lol. I see the Bengals on ur coat, and thought id ask lol. .....I've also noticed the dollar tree's changes i dunno bout all of it, I hate having to make sure I'm buying the $1.25 items and not the higher priced ones
I went to my dollar store 3 weeks ago. I needed bread. So I got a bag of 6 buns, went to cash register. The lady said Mame, do you know this bag of bread is $4.00? I was like What???? She said all we carry is Potatoe Bread, and the cost of Potatoes have gone up. I was like, thanks for warning me, I don't want it! So I wind up going to Walmart, 6 bag of buns $1.30. Wish I could knead my own bread!
Not sure if you know know this, but Family Dollar, Dollar General are also now part of Dollar Tree. That is what I was told by the person in charge at my dollar tree store. That is why the prices vary. Just passing on information.
Most of these items are not real food. They are processed “stuff” in brightly colored packages. A bag of beans, a bag of flour, a bag of cornmeal, and some pork neck bones or ham hocks will fill up and nourish your family for a few bucks. For sure don’t feed factory “food” to your kids.
Why, why, why....can't we get these products?! There are three DT stores in St. Joseph, MO, with a distribution center only about two hours drive, in Warrensburg, MO. But, we rarely see these great deals you're showing. Lots of empty shelves, and what isn't empty doesn't seem to be anything I want. Usually the best stuff I get is the holiday related junk up front. I'm always disappointed after I watch UA-cam videos, and then go and find none of the featured products. What a ripoff.😞
I don’t like the LA Totally Awesome cleaners and bleach. They seem really watered down and ineffective to me. I tried several different types and it was like spraying colored water.
any store is higher in price than dollar tree, so why can they not, according to shopper not raise their prices once in a while . still cheaper than other stores. if you can find it cheaper somewhere else go there
It's disappointing but if they can't make a large enough profit to pay salaries, bills,or f8nd items with cheap enough wholesale prices, it's raise the prices or close the store
I agree. People complaining about "greedy" businesses simply do not or cannot comprehend that business owners no matter how big or small are facing the same issues we as consumers are.
I dont care for Dallar Tree st all. Used to drop a lot in there. Not again. They chared my sister 5.95 for each gift cards , came out to anout. She had her receipt, I dad she dont want them thats outrageous. Not going back in ther😂e anyone for that matter. Coild get a refund . Because they were a activated. So they ripped 30 dollars of of my 72 year old sister. I dont care it was wrong. And if they put tariffs on a lot of family Nf friends wont shop ther. And I will pass this story on to them.

Agree, but everything is from China, and they use terrible ingredients.
FYI 8.1oz is pretty standard for cans of baking powder, but the price is over $2.00 at Aldi and Walmart. So $1.25 at Dollar Tree is awesome. Especially if you do a lot of baking.
The Ragu Alfredo is usually cheaper at grocery stores. I can get it for $1.80ish.
Definitely going to try the Fabulosa. Went to buy Lysol at Dollar General. Bottle was at least a third smaller and was over $7!
Thank you for the information. Since we moved to a new state, the Dollar Tree’s around us don’t have much of a variety of products. Some of the Dollar Tree’s look like they are struggling to stay open.
Thanks Danno. I am a frequent DT shopper. I agree about the scanners. Very helpful

@@mosessupposes2571 Yes, but not a lot of people get sarcasm when they read something.
you know how much it cost to change the name of a store every store.

Marmalade is a good staple to keeping stock,it makes a wonderful glaze on ham and sweet carrots or with cream cheese to add to my ambrosia fruit salad

The condiments at the dollar tree is a good deal for me cause i don't use alot of condiments lol
The buck and a quarter store 😂

Good Morning, Danno and Jess! Your beautifully decorated apartment inspired me to get my decorating done yesterday! I haven’t been in the Dollar tree since all the changes. So much more expensive!
1947 Nabisco Co introduced the wheat thins, and I love them I missed the last sale I will play the weighing game again . Thanks Danno.
I used to enjoy Wheat Thins and Ritz years ago. They have not tasted the same to me for at least 10 years.
Love $$ Tree bread, it's good and cheap.
Mine usually has a rack of different name brand breads, bagels, and english muffins.
Dollar Tree coconut milk and what looks like 'evaporated' milk are inferior. They are watered down and/or contain oil, as the "filled" evap. milk is.

That Deli Market Mustard we get up here too at Canadian Dollar Tree in Ontario. It's really nice mustard and I'm a mustard snob.
The 5oz bottles of a1 thick n hearty is a good buy price per ounce and the colonna brand spices are good too.
It is what it is. If you see it buy it because when you come back it will be gone. 😀
FYI, a judge blocked the Albertsons Kroger merger
Thanks Danno!!!
Good morning 🌄
I recently stocked up on a lot of Knorr pasta and rice sides. They are not expensive and don't take a lot of time to make!
I buy a lot of stuff from the Dollar tree some things are a lot cheaper than the store
Merry Christmas everyone!
Hey Danno!!! I agree 100%
Merry Christmas!!!!!
Thanks Danno..good eye on the shrinkflation. So disgusting.
Mean green is the best cleaner
Interesting items for good prices. Thank you for the video. God bless. 👍👍😃❤️🙏🎄
Can't believe some of those Ritz & Triscuit crackers were $3.75.... I paid $1.99 for those for YEARS. Almost double the price is scary.
The croutons are good
Folgers is 7$ up, Harry & David 13$ up..Super Great Deal $Tree
My dollar general in Oklahoma is the same size and over a dollar more. I buy most of my coffee at dollar general when it goes on sale. Last week, I got two Folgers Colombian coffee (regular size) for $6.00 each.
Grab it before it's gone
Ragu at Kroger was $1.39 Watch your ads Prego is $1.29 this week.
Dollar Tree+ would be a better name than Dollar Tree
It makes no difference to me what the name is, as I understand the expense of renaming and like the value of the items I purcbase there,
Got the Bengals gear on. Nice. Not eliminated yet

Hi Danno, please watch the latest episode of Happy Bears to see really awful shrinkflation, have a coffee at the ready 😂😂😂❤❤❤
Good Morning
Went in to DT today. Needed sunglasses. They are now 1.50
And the containers for the Cinnamon are smaller.
3 local stores near me and none have many of the things you tubers post. Like the steering wheel tray. Irs very frustrating.
You are missing a huge bargain. The canned fruit is a fantastic bargain! It beats out any grocery store, even all the bargain stores!!
You are correct about the 18 ounce Strawberry Preserves. Good deal at $1.25. Was that a 64 Oz detergent? There are smaller sizes mostly found out there now.

You might try non yeast bread. Mix until just blended. I tried baking some and was pleasantly surprised.
Have you tried making your own or going to a discount bread store?
Thanks for taking time to keep us all up to date

Don't buy the season salt.Very salty...
It also contains MSG, especially if someone is sensitive to MSG, with migraines.

I don’t like the LA Totally Awesome cleaners and bleach. They seem really watered down and ineffective to me. I tried several different types and it was like spraying colored water.
Watch the milks. Bought a bunch of oat milk today and it was all out of date. Opened one and it was gross
I got 1% it was curdled.
I get the Marcel’s whole milk. Buy it by the case and have never been disappointed, drinking or cooking.
Dan I would like to see you do a publix video. Looking at the canned fruit and frozen fruit and of course meat.
Tried the teriyaki yesterday it was horrible, and I bought 2.
I don't like the Wheat Thins, they were awful and tasted like cardboard! Those canned cherries, they are delicious!

Hmm, so what are the big changes? Looks the same to me.
All those your looking at are not normal items . A few things are but most is what I say is generic items meaning not the real thing
