3 years late reply, but there was actually a second show in Chile in Santiago. You can find videos of that show here on UA-cam. They played practically the same setlist while adding a few songs like Send Her My Love, Be Good to Yourself, and Who’s Crying Now. Amazing show overall and Arnel still sounds great and more confident. The Las Vegas show later on is pretty good except they cut some songs from the video like Only the Young, Stone in Love, Who’s Crying Now, Lovin’, Touchin’, Squeezin’ amongst others. There’s very short video clips of those songs being played also here on UA-cam. Check them out since Arnel sounds great on those.

I bet the rhythm and the whole band are wide awake with Pineda ran around at the same time singing with those high notes. And this was his first concert with Journey. OMG! Bet the rest of band members didn't know exactly what's coming for them. The 3 of them stood there maybe thinking Pineda won't be able to sing those high notes with all that running :)

Excellent singer in his own rite..AP got that tenor, awesome raspy voice, the young looks ( on his 50--but looks like 20years younger !! ). unbelievable energy and great stage presence !. He has brought true and NEW life back to the band that was certain floundering when SP left !! He saved Journey --- as if NO Journey band is around doing shows/concerts-- the song dies along with the band as it happened to other popular bands around !! AP is not trying to be SP--- but he has to do his work as required when he was recruited --to sing exactly the Journey songs--to continue its legacy for years---and he did !! Journey rocks!!! This is the first time I have heard this new guy. He is amazingly close to Steve Perry but doesn't quite have SP's laser like high notes and he is struggling a bit to hit the low notes. Plus the way he is singing, he is going to blow out his vocal cords. I'm not a Journey fan but I give him all the credit in the world, it's not easy stepping into famous shoes.

Like most front vocalists, no matter how protective you are, how much you pamper your throat, vocal cords, lungs, etc., just as soon as the lights come up and for the following 45-75+ minutes they all do the same thing and it's worse than chain smoking Camel's 🐪... PERFORMING!!! Most people have absolutely no idea just how exhausting "Playing Rock Star" actually is. What the majority of folks see, whether or not they're fans, is the short time, all to often too short a time for everyone, where we certainly appear to be having a good time up there onstage, always smiling, really enjoying ourselves HuH? Well, here's the worst kept secret ever... WE ARE!!! OMFNG!!! BAAAAAAAHAHAHA...HaH!!! It's A Red Ryder Christmas Story, Christmas Eve/Morning and Your Very First Fu... Blo... Lic... (Y'know, our gurly gurls like, no Love, 77 Munch Munch More 😛😝🤪😋🥴) Anyhowz, everything, All of That and a Hole Lot More all at once at the very same time! Our so called "job" is to Share It All With You and you and you too. How many times have you woke up bright and early the next Afternoon/Evening following a concert, LoL, and when trying to tell someone about the night before found your voice to be just a Lil Bit Horse, if'n ya haven't completely lost it like back in the dayz. That's how and why we lost Mr Perry in the first place. Btw, we're extremely lucky for what we have in Journey. There's a group of such great people. Just take a look around at WTF, isn't happening, has been happening and now Has Happened! You can't swing a cat in a circle by it's tail and hit someone you know you can trust. After meeting someone new to ya, you used to say, at least to yourself, "He/She/They're Good People." These days, the only one that doesn't deserve to be hit during the Cat Swinging Test is... The Cat, LoL. Now watch these videos again and look closely especially at the expression on Neal and Arnels faces... Arnel was just born grinning. Well, right after the Doctor spanked him that is, LoL. That's how all Filipinos look. But I'm fairly certain that Neal's Perma-Smile has just got to be the result of Reconstructive Non-Cosmetic Augmentative Uhhhh... "Work", LoL. In fact, one evening just prior to showtime, heading for the dressing room I noticed something on the floor. As I bent over to reach for "something" someone else picked that exact same time to open the door and walk out of the dressing room. Having noticed the same "something" in the floor as I had and always at the ready to help another out, Not Ever Too Good to bend over, reach down to... Uhhh... Pick "something" up from the floor and Mhmmm... Of course I wasn't gonna let someone famous be pickin' crap up offa the floor. Especially the sticky backstage floor of The Ritz all covered in Bar Funk and probably worse unmentionable yucks so instead I Head Butted Neal Shon like I was The Transporter takin' on Steven Segal, Chuck Norris and my last X Sister in Law, DOH!!! I almost knocked myself dizzy enough to wander back down the flight of stairs without touching a single step but when the Neal's looked up, sure 'nuff, 😁, LoL! Of course since both of us could see the TweetyBirds 🐦🐦🐦😁🐦🐦 flying figure 8's around our heads so that might have been his Silly Grin as it appears that they're all the same. Now I'm quite certain that there was a point to all of this wayyy back whenever I began this Short Story/Novel so anyhowz... What was the original question again?!? Hmmm...
