Thanks so much for watching everyone. I’m lucky to be able to honor my best friend in this way. I hope he’s proud of me. This one was tough to make. Much love to Phil, and all our veterans ❤❤❤
I bet if he visited you in a dream he may only ask you questions in response to you wondering about if he is proud. 'Are you Living free?' 'Are you proud of who you are today?' There you go.
Damn right he’s proud of you, your making your dreams happen and helping those through this outlet and gift of music and giving notice to all who protect and serve this country I love you guys this song is amazing ❤❤❤

There are righteous reasons to fight wars but in my lifetime I cannot recall a righteous war. I pray God has the most gracious mercy on those who have died and suffered due to "wars for cash", no matter where you are from.
I'm so sorry for your loss. This is a beautiful tribute. I was very fortunate that my son made it back from Iraq on November 21st 2003. A day I will always remember. Pray for all people in Uniform in our country and 🇮🇱 .
Thanks for the song my brother. USMC 1999-2010. RIP to those we lost, and nothing but love and respect for all who served. RIP Lance Corporal Johnson. Semper Fi Warrior. #Salute
As a combat Marine, this hit hard. Lost too many brothers in the sandbox and at home to their own knife. Thank you for caring for our breed bro…..Semper Fi
I’m a Marine! I joined in 2000 and life changed very fast when 9/11 happened! I went from 19 to 39 overnight. This is an amazing song!!! I felt this! Semper Fi
RIP to him, the fallen 13, and all who have made the ultimate sacrifice. Gosh I'm ugly crying. This was beautiful. Pray for this country ya'll because if that war monger gets in there will be more lives lost. God Bless.
One of the greatest Marines ever wrote a pretty interesting book titled "War is a Racket" His name was Smedley Butler. Might be an interesting base for a new track?
People don’t realize how much we owe the military unless it’s close to home. I wasn’t aware until I moved to the south around military bases and now I see how much I owe to those willing to fight for this country. Thank you to all those who have served and their families
Felt this one in my heart. Beautiful lyrics. Beautiful voice. Beautiful tribute. Anybody grieving over a loved one, I hope you find peace. Because I know how hard it can be. Much love Rez & JM.

Such beautiful and meaningful song with so much emotion! I can't stop listening to it. I also, appreciate you for always keeping it real and talking about things like this in your songs. As a Marine Corps veteran who has lost good friend and fellow marine, songs like this just hit home
Sadly, generations of our best men and women that were endowed with inherent courage, strength, and selflessness, have been either taken from us in conflicts or, are still carrying around the scars of their service. It's starting to make me question whether it is by nefarious design and intentional culling, or an unfortunate side-effect of mankind's deleterious nature. What would this nation be like, had we not lost their influence and strength here at home? We must not forget any of them in either case. In fact, we must honor them by showing the same courage and strength here at home while diligently serving the light of the world, and one true King, Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Keep it up Brother- your voice is breaking through the wilderness!
Broke down so hard to this song. Life is so short. You never know how long you have in this life. Tell the ones you love, that you love them. And always be thankful for every single day you have with them.
Spent 12 years in the Marine Corps as an Infantry Rifleman, was in Nasiryah, Second Battle of Fallujah Operation Phantom Fury, Haditha, Operation Phantom Hammer, Helmand Province in the Garmsir District. Lost alot of brothers, i came home lost, and decided the best way for me to survive the dark thoughts I was having was to live in honor of my brothers, they were much better men then myself and I was given this gift of life, why would disrespect their sacrifice by ending mine. My best friend his son was 2 when his dad passed. I was there at the Naval Hospital the day he was born and one of the first to hold him. His son is 22 now, I have talked to him every memorial day since he was able to talk and answered his questions over the years about what his dad was like and I was able to be there for some of his football games, he asked me to walk with his mom his senior night football game, and I was able to be that connection to his dad, sometimes it was hard because my last memory of his dad was tough and I still to this day remember that day, over and over again, but for his son it was an honor to be there. I named my son after him and his middle name is another buddy I lost. For those of us who made it home, and are struggling, I been there and you arent alone, don't be afraid to reach out and say something, I have lost 15 since I been home and out and if you would have said anything I would have been there in a heart beat. You can heal and beat this, you aren't alone. Semper Fi
Damn, damn, damn, this song hits home. I have two sons in the Air Force, and they have both been deployed to Qatar. Now, one of them is going to Jordan. Dear God protect my boy, and every one of our kids in the military.
My husband is an active-duty US Army Combat Medic, and not even including my own fears for him on deployment, watching him lose buddies is soul rending. Losing them on deployment is bad enough, but we have an epidemic right now here on US Soil -- 22 a Day, Folks. Reach out to a service member you know and remind them they're loved. Normalize dealing with the feels. One a day is too many -- 22 a Day? Shame on us. My love goes out to all who've given, and are currently giving, all they have. Thank you for the music you put out, all of it's fantastic, but this one hit me and my 68-Whiskey right in the heart. Bless you and yours, and all who come here and find what they needed in this song.
Thank you for this AMAZING track! As a Post 9-11 soldier, Iraq War Veteran 2004 Baghdad, the height of the insurgency, Route Irish Security Detail ... the pain still lives inside me 20 years later, along with a hundred injuries, physical and mental. Every day I honor all fallen soldiers, miss all of my brothers an sisters. Great song - thank you for this, I play this every day over and over
I am a disabled woman veteran who worked a live intel mission in S.K. God bless you, thank you. My prayers are for this family's loss, and all who have lost loved ones in senseless military/war ops.
I will never disrespect a veteran. I have vets in my family-one who served in Vietnam and another who served in Desert Storm. It doesn’t matter to me whether you saw combat or not; you made the choice to serve your country, to take that brave step that so many others didn’t. You stood up to protect the freedoms we have at home, and that deserves nothing but respect. The government might be corrupt, but the men and women who serve this beautiful country are the ones who deserve our focus. It’s not about race, religion, or who you love. At the end of the day, someone put their life on the line for the freedoms we enjoy-freedoms that some may take for granted or even hate. But regardless of our differences, we’re all human, and we owe our thanks to those who have sacrificed for the rights we hold dear.
@@threestangtyry1 i watch my brothers battles with PTSD. He was a ranger that did 5 deployments and resists speaking of the horrors he's seen. And like a light switch gets hit and we go from a normal conversation to him being lost in his own little world non-existent to anyone around. When he snaps back to reality, his mood is negative, he shuts down and then disappears for periods of time. I hate it.... It's not the same person I knew before his service. I think ALL of the funding we are spending on illegal immigrants should be allocated to veterans funds and services.
This hit hard my friend. I remember sitting on the C-5, finally ready to go back home in 2003. I left before my unit to bring some classified hard drives home. I was thankful, but wondering what was taking so long. I went up to the cockpit and asked, "What the hell is taking so long!" The pilot pointed out the window and I saw all the caskets with American flags on them being loaded onto our plane. C-5's load from the front. (I wish I remembered how many...I walked away at that point). ALL of the fallen (to that point) were being loaded onto OUR plane...Not ONE of us was thankful to be going home at that point, although we wanted to be happy to be going home. Sometimes, I wish I left with my unit....
