amazing street performer or busker | cobra flute music played by the snake charmer
there are many street performer in the world . we also oftern see these performer in the street of banhladesh .
Street performance or busking is the act of performing in public places for gratuities. In many countries the rewards are generally in the form of money but other gratuities such as food, drink or gifts may be given. Street performance is practiced all over the world and dates back to antiquity. People engaging in this practice are called street performers or buskers.
Performances are anything that people find entertaining. Performers may do acrobatics, animal tricks, balloon twisting, caricatures, clowning, comedy, contortions, escapology, dance, singing, fire skills, flea circus, fortune-telling, juggling, magic, mime, living statue, musical performance, puppeteering, snake charming, storytelling or reciting poetry or prose, street art such as sketching and painting, street theatre, sword swallowing, and ventriloquism.
Snake charming is the practice of appearing to hypnotize a snake by playing and waving around an instrument called a pungi. A typical performance may also include handling the snakes or performing other seemingly dangerous acts, as well as other street performance staples, like juggling and sleight of hand. The practice is most common in India, though other Asian nations such as Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Malaysia are also home to performers, as are the North African countries of Egypt, Morocco and Tunisia.
Ancient Egypt was home to one form of snake charming, though the practice as it exists today likely arose in India. It eventually spread throughout Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and North Africa. Despite a sort of golden age in the 20th century, snake charming is today in danger of dying out. This is due to a variety of factors, chief among them the recent enforcement of a 1972 law in India banning ownership of snakes. In retaliation, snake charmers have organized in recent years, protesting the loss of their only means of livelihood, and the government has made some overtures to them.
Many snake charmers live a wandering existence, visiting towns and villages on market days and during festivals. During a performance, snake charmers may take a number of precautions. The charmer typically sits out of biting range and the snake is sluggish and reluctant to attack anyway. More drastic means of protection include removing the creature's fangs or venom glands, or even sewing the snake's mouth shut. The most popular species are those native to the snake charmer's home region, typically various kinds of cobras, though vipers and other types are also used.
Although snakes are able to sense sound, they lack the outer ear that would enable them to hear the music. They follow the pungi that the "snake charmer" holds with their hands. The snake considers the person and pungi a threat and responds to it as if it were a predator.
cobra snake is mostly used snake for this game . they also show various kind of snake . #snake - Розваги
The cobra: *Yo this song is lit!*
Hahahahahaha 100$
They can’t even hear lmao
nice
What is he saying to the snake?
actually the snake is focusing on the movement of the flute not the song itself
Imagine being the first guy to figure out that snakes act this way
Fun Fact: Snake charming has nothing to do with the music. Snakes dont have external ears so they dont hear the music. The snake actually feels threatened, rises up in a defensive pose and their movement is in sync with the guy playing the instrument.
Sad Fact: Cruelty is sometimes involved. Once caught, their fangs are removed and mouths sewn shut so they can't bite the charmer. They die a horrible death of starvation that can take months. Thereafter, the charmer simply goes out to capture another snake

Cobras are cute when they dance, their little flat heads look like they’re bopping to the music
That's got to be the most dangerous and coolest thing ever
He should try it with cobras 🐍 that haven’t been defanged
Sadly most of the time it isn’t even dangerous because a lot of them defang them and sew their mouth closed so there’s not much of a threat unless you’re the snake who’s dying of starvation.
Edit should’ve worded that better. It’s not sad because it’s not dangerous it’s sad because of what they do to the snakes.

The cobra stands up and expands as a deterrent. The snake doesn’t want to attack, they only attack if they think it’s the last resort to getting away. Also snake charmers are okay so long as they look after the snakes well. Some snake charmers are disgusting people and will pull the snakes fangs out or sew the snakes mouth shut.
Although snakes are able to sense sound, they lack the outer ear that would enable them to hear the music. They follow the pungi that the "snake charmer" holds with their hands. The snake considers the person and pungi a threat and responds to it as if it were a predator.

This instrument is made for a special purpose it’s natural flute note change and beat vibrating to keep a dhun enable it to play a melody. It is a very complete musical instrument. If you look at a cross section of the instrument then it looks like a alien head with its spine and nerves. Like My own ancestors created it after killing some aliens. The music very advanced and my be used to chase and find something my ancestors hunted in the past. This music has no effect on snakes at all. It’s a ancient story for a purpose. If you hear the police siren then it will also sound like this. And my own ancestors created the police siren sound from this instrument 🦚🤴🏽🕉🔺➕

If this is somehow true then what is then what is the true purpose for it

Snakes are Deaf, not just to music, but everything. They do have a good sense of vibration, smell (with their tongues), heat (they have a special sensor) and of course, vision.
The popular image of snakes (cobras) “dancing” to music is a myth. The snakes are not enjoying or being hypnotized by the music the musician is playing. They are swaying in response to the musician’s own movements. The snakes hear nothing, but they are watching him very closely, as they would to any prey or potential danger.

This isn’t a performance. And the snake definitely isn’t dancing. These people rip the venom glands out of these poor snakes, and or stitch their mouths shut. The snake is just moving the way any Cobra would. It’s just following the movement of the flute. This should be taken down. Also snakes don’t have ears and can’t hear anything.
