Coach Cal has always done things no one else thought would work. Remember he brought in the one and done concept that most thought wouldn’t work, but he proved them wrong! He may be the first one with only8 or 9 guys on scholarship, but if/when it works, he won’t be the last
@@ImMe20127 true but if you load up with personal-relationship youngins and hire the transfer portal guys who are Seniors or likely-to-be-drafted Juniors it's less of an issue.
@@CrackaSlapYa that’s true lol but Cal is still going to go have the top 5-star prospects. He’ll probably only try to sign 3-4 instead of 7 every year but he’s still going to get the top end talent and those kids usually don’t stay multiple years. I think he’ll embrace the transfer portal more though
I certainly appreciate your updates. Is the NIL allowing these players to hold schools hostage? I can’t understand why is DJ Wagner taking so long to make a decision! Frankly, making a decision will allow Arkansas to move forward one way or the other. Personally, limiting the roster at 8 or 9 is a mistake based on the reasons you have mentioned. I would feel that 10 is a great number for development.
@@Larry-zv8li Hey I am with you on is age. Very valid point. But these players don’t sit down alone to negotiate the NIL amount, it is a group of his people around the table. But I agree, it is a big decision and he needs to weigh his options. Thanks for reminding me.
I really like the shorter segments … I like 10-20 min max. My attention span isn’t long enough for an hour 😂

As a Kentucky fan that has moved over to Arkansas with Cal…the main worry I have is if we have an injury. It happened almost every year at Kentucky
@@ImMe20127 yeah thats why i say it'll be 10 guys in the end
@@CrackaSlapYa the problem is trying to keep those 9th and 10th guys for the next year and not just transfer away

My opinion only…. 8 or 9 a mistake…. At least 10
