I didn’t realize he was missing a lot of his iconic sound effects for his moves in melee.
Incomplete character
Considering he can’t L cancel some moves, and that his shield is too small, he is pretty much incomplete.
Ah yes, “jump” and “air dodge” are definitely Mr. Game & Watches best moves

Mr Game & Watch is so much better in Ultimate compared to previous games. There's so much variety to his animations, and he references the original games better. Plus, Judge is made even more disrespectful with the new visual.

Actually, he’s pro in brawl
I miss his angular look, with the big handa and his head in Melee and Brawl, but his shapeshifting to reference his other games is pretty neat

Smash ultimate did a lot better with his movesets than any other smash game

When i transitioned from smash4 to ultimate, the first thing i noticed was how he changed shape and i was like: WHAT HAPPENED TO MR GAME AND WATCH?! THATS NOT THE GUY I PLAY-
I prefer his bigger hands from Brawl and Melee tbh

I love his shape on the older games, if you noticed , his head is less of a circle on Melee (which is better in my opinion) but I love the animations on Ultimate because they are his true animations in the game and watch series....so if they were to make Game and watch have his classic build from Melee , combined with his animations on Ultimate, it will be the best possible Mr. Game and watch.....because on WII U and Ultimate , having his shape so perfect takes away the classic old retro style look
in my opinion the line boil just makes him feel more unfinished and doesn't really make him more accurate to his source material

I barely ever noticed how Mr. Game & Watch's character model has become more circly, like his head & hands in Smash4 and Ultimate look more circle-shaped than in Melee and Brawl, while G&W's nose now seems smaller in comparison to his head's height than before. I knew something was off about how different playing as Mr.G&W feels between Brawl and SSB4, but only now by seeing this head-to-head comparison, I can finally understand what that slight change was.

His animations in Ultimate are awesome, but his New F-Air is almost impossible to connect
In my opinion, as a proud Mr. Game and watch main, I think that the Melee and Brawl Game and Watch are the best ones. Especially with his final Smash in Brawl but they ruined his final Smash in Smash 4 and Ultimate.

i didn't forget anything. the 3DS and Wii U versions are the same when it comes to moves. i'd be just repeating the same thing twice.

@@MadaoJoestar Id argue they are, they're unique to each character, at least the get up attacks are. The vid shows g&w just walking around and if we dont consider a ledge getup a move then walking is surely not a move
it walks to get out a move. can you do the running attack without running?

you failed to show that in every iteration after melee, When Game & Watch, HOW HE IS ACTUALLY CANONICALLY SPELLED IN THE HANDHELD GAMES, pulls a 9 judgment, it plays a DIFFERENT SOUND EFFECT!
