Man, this has been an excellent year for music on all fronts. I feel sorry for people that can't pull their heads from their ass and only listen to "old" stuff or only one - two genres. Truely missing out on some incredible stuff.
Agreed. Tech death is my favorite genre, but this year I have been floored by bands like Ne Obliviscaris, Slice The Cake, The Ocean, and Alcest. I highly recommend checking them out if you already haven't. Cheers.
gmanthatguy Well acquainted with NeO. Only got into Alcest 5 or so months ago. The others I'll definitely have to check out, thanks for the recommendations.

Got all of their stuff downloaded from their website on sale for under $30. Also purchased their EP from Discogs. All of their stuff is great as well. Have fun!

@@davecrupel2817 Why do you suggest their most viewed songs on youtube? Theatrical Delirium and The deported are by far their greatest songs, for example
Overall I've got to say that I was really digging the more minimalist midsection of the song where the band just simmer down for a bit and let the melody take over. I'm definitely very excited for this though Beyond Creation always bring it!
TheMetalTris One thing that I always felt was missing from their music is cleans. Maybe "missing" is too strong but it would surely add a lot to their sound. Tech death songs tend to blend together to the point where you forget which one you're listening to because they all sound so similar. Cleans, when used sparingly in a situation like this, can instantly make a part of the song memorable because they stand out from the rest of it, they're a great hook. It's part of why I think bands like Persefone and Ne Obliviscaris work as well as they do. And while I wouldn't say that Beyond Creation suffer from this issue nearly as much as most other tech death bands, adding some cleans to the equation would certainly go a long way. That said, I love this song, it's among the best I've heard this year. And easily one of their best. Super technical, yet it has a good flow and that clean section with muffled screams on top towards the end is phenomenal. Super excited for the album.
I think that you hit the nail exactly on the head there. When looking back at bands, exactly like NeO and Persefone, even Fallujah! You do remember those moments because they contrast so well against the harsh vocals and make it stand out. Its brilliant. I'm very excited to see what the rest of the album holds for sure. Thats a very valid point though and this is what I love about UA-cam when you're able to have a genuine chat with someone and it makes sense. Of course there's trolls but there's always trolls haha! What have you been enjoying this year out of curiosity? I would wager that you dig the new Obscura?
Isn't that right! Honestly I hadn't thought of that until volimNestea pointed it out and I think it would be very divisive for fans but if cleans are used in the right way its a fantastic way to differentiate from other bands. What did you think of the track? :)
I vividly remember having been introduced to Beyond Creation by a friend of mine after a rehearsal before a guitar recital on Thursday afternoon, June 13th 2019 with this song exactly. After he asked me which part I liked the most, he was clearly disappointed it wasn't the clean interlude near the end - for me it was the solo section, the most beautiful and soul twisting piece of leadwork to have ever been wrought in the audial realm. Even after two years of frequently coming back to The Inversion, goosebumps and a tear in the eye are guaranteed. Thank you guys for musically engaging the world in a meaningful way...

Beyond Creation tons of notes per second but now with a 5% more of viking stuff! Great to here that the new bassist is as great as Dominic. Congratulation at least by the single.

Once again you are facing these fences
In these vast lands you must strive
Climb the barriers to evolve and thrive
We definitely need to expand the possibilities
To become the heirs of what is surrounding us
Complex variations, multiple designs
Let the nature collide
Transmitting its unique way through
Find the inversion from the breach
Visualise the absence of time
Complex variations, multiple designs
Let the nature collide
Transmitting its unique way through
Awakening from a profound slumber
Cognitive motions strive to the same encounter
Slowly vanishing from the same beholder
You will return to the earth
From the ground you were born
Beyond creation never disappoints.
*FINALLY ITS HAPPENING BOIS*
Those Paiste cymbals are so crisp, I love his selection.
It sounds like Opeth and Necrophagist together.
Hails from Syria
Actually this sounds more like The Faceless - Emancipate & Deconsecrate... even some of the melodic riffs :)
Beyond Creation is Beyond Creation. There is no other band like them
New album! Awesome song!
Sounds amazing, I just wish it didn't end with a fade out.
