2023 (December). 30 years. Still my favourite anime of all time. Still getting goosebumps. I'm blessed to watch Sailor Moon with my son and daughter 30 years later. Would have NEVER imagined 30 years ago I would enjoy rewatching this epic anime together with my kids and sing these epic song with them.
I don't think any contemporary anime has such beautiful and emotional songs as Sailor Moon had in the early '90s :) The series might have been cheesy, campy and infantile on multiple occasions, but it had a huge heart, that's for sure.
Also, at the begining before they zoomed in on the actresses I automatically thought, Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon. (I know Myu came before PGSM but still ......)
very cool to see this early performance! while I agree it works better for the show for them to be wearing the wigs the whole time, it was really interesting to see this. Anza with her real hair done up like Usagi's was a surprise to see... it looks pretty different. but in a good way

The cosplay was for the audience to notice the girls. in a theater without light in that time the musical costume have to be dramatic... It's not stupid is theater, drama. If you dont know this please think a little before insult a great work
