I agree, if we could pull off a White Sox trade for Crochet and Robert for the prospects and the young big leaguers you mention, that would be unreal! Dynasty time!
This trade almost happened last July. I believe Chicago was asking too much from the Dodgers and the Yankees respectively. And of course Crochet had to shoot his darn fool mouth off about "no extension no post season pitching". The Dodgers wanted and got Michael Kopech separately, who was supposed to be part of the blockbuster package. I would work this trade for Miguel Vargas, he needs friends over there.
Dodgers have a shortstop/ center field problem. Edmon can only play one of those positions so whichever one he plays, the other position becomes a hole that needs filling.
@cryptobill6188 Both the Dodgers and Miguel Rojas have said that he is NOT an every day shortstop. Also, Pages is a terrible defensive center fielder and an average hitter at this point.
@@EddieHersh the question about Edman was that he plays CF and SS and will need a hole. He can play 81 games at CF and Pages can play CF for 81 games and Edman can play 81 games at SS and Rojas can play 81 games at SS. Just an example that not even I assumed anybody was playing any position full-time. Pages I think is naturally a corner OF but at his age can develop defensively and has huge offensive upside which is why Dodgers kept him
I'm not sure about crochet. Any kind of gave a bad attitude what was time to deadline! Didn't he have some type of demand!? That tells me bad attitude, bad for the team! We don't need distractions!!
No on Crochet - one year wonder so far. Last year all the talk was Jesus Lazardo or however you spell his last name, from the Marlins and now Crochet is same conversation.
I know, I'm sorry! I try to hit the mute button on the screen but it's hard to get to it when I'm in the middle of a chat or stream of thought. Better yet, I'm just ready to get over this damn cold! haha Appreciate you braving through a tough listen for the content.
Yup!! And sign Sasaki and grab Adames, Bring back Teo and Trienen and I’m good

Robert’s is trash.

If crochett really needs an extension as a prerequisite for a trade than its no gonna be as cheap as you think
They do have a ton of prospect assets. Definitely go for a Crochet type pitcher, doesn’t necessarily need to be crochet.
Let's go Dodgers
Cartaya should be included since he is on the 40 man.

Miguel Rojas for SS and Pages at CF

Trade for Crochet, pick up Matthew Boyd, sign Sasaki and pay for a Adames…try n trade for Devin Williams
If the Dodgers trade Crochet as a one year rental, why not?
