Can I use an LED bulb instead of this YELLOW bulb..?
No
It won’t work on led bulb
Amazing video. Is there a power limit on the load one can use a circuit like this with?
yes, that depends on the TRIAC you use and the heat sink it is attached to
Sir how to control brightness of led bulb plz.. make one video on it.. 🙏🙏bcz..we don't have dc dimmer
hello sir, Can we use same dimmer circuit with Alexa?
Hi
I have made 2 home automation circuits using node mcu of 8 relays each. Using Blynk app

I can' t find MCT2E in Mexico, do you think it is possible to replace for another type component?, thanks a lot for your amazing videos. I enjoy watching and boulding my own based on yours.
Can you make the same with esp32 and sinric? Because you have used esp32 and sinric before and we can connect this to the same project.
Hi Dear,
This circuit can use for Fan dimmer. If yes can we control fan both from blynk app and variable resistor mean without the app.
Can i use esp32 or ttgo t-call module in this project???? Please kindly answer me 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Yes
@@techiesms sir, can you help with this.. Any tutorial or article. .
Hi sir,
Thanks for this amazing tutorial.
Can dimming of "led bulb" will be possible with this kind of dimmer circuit?
You have used filament bulb in this video. Can we able to use led bulb instead of bulb with filament?
Hey mate, thanks for a great video, really helpful info and works great. One question though the 47k resistor on the neutral side gets extremely hot, is this normal? I’m using a BT137 (what I had on hand) and it doesn’t get warm at all? All cct’s I’ve seen like this use a BT136 with a heat sink. The fact this component doesn’t heat up at all in my cct makes me think there’s enough of a difference between 136 and 137 to cause issues. Anyone else experience a similar problem? Only difference in the cct is a 4N25 instead of MCT2e and the BT137.
Is it recommended to use a step down transformer in the beginning of the circuit? I tried to copy your work a lot but the circuit keeps getting the nodecmu to hang up.
Sir this project is excellent. Sir can you make a video on this with blynk and Google assistance control
Bro I am facing a problem, it is working fine at high value of brightness, but at lower value bulbs starts flickering, and it doesn't turn off at zero percent.
same problem right now, did u solve it?
Nice one 👌👌
Bro please start Google Firebase series as soon as possible we all are waiting for ,,,,
Thank you compa, i love your videos. Hello from Mexico
Thanks .. can i use esp8266 01 generic module??
Hi sir, plz tell us that how can we use 2 relay channel.. i wana use one for bulb and 2nd for fan
Can you make driver drowsiness detector using raspberry pi
Hey techiesms, I'm really thankful for all your project.
I just have one question, if I want to configure a fan regulator also an AC dimmer using a nodemcu and also get the feedback from the fan regulator for the home automation project how can I do it?
my esp is working condition
but when i upload your code it started to auto disconnect and connect continuous
if you do not want to share code please do not upload wrong Code
my all purchased material gone waste
try to downgrade esp board, preferably to 2.4.2 same problem occurs to me but after downgrade it works
Code uploaded successfully
But Dimmer not working
Can you please guide
Bro make a video with both blynk and manual dimming feature
It's Very good, now how to make notification if the target at behind the wall
Brother can we use this for controlling speed of seeking fan.
Best electronics diy channel for non technical background person also 🙂🙂😊
please make a detailed video about the virtual pin. and how we can go through it
Thanks a lot for making this blynk dimmer. I want to make it for my room.
once again thank you pal.
I m waiting for 3am sunday
Very happy to see vedio
I m waiting for this project
AC dimmer with bynk ,,, wow man you nailed it ,,,, keep going bro ,,,,
great job! i used your tutorial to control on board led of esp32 devkit. working absolutely fine!!! Now i added some pwm functions in code and was able to control brightness by slider widget on blynk perfectly.
The issue i am facing is now how to set the brightness through google assistant? like "Set Light brightness to 50 %". i created a applet "phrases with number". method used as POST, body number field...i am not getting any response or update on led.where i could be wrong?
is this link to update virtual pin is correct?

Excuse me is there anyway you could share your code?? I wish to control several lightbulbs on/off and also a dimmer with the esp32
Can this be used to control the speed of ceiling fans?
Yes, but you have to use proper snubber circuit.
@@nisargshukla6382 I have no idea what that is I will definitely take a look at it
Sir... Can I use this device as ac fan regulator?
Hopefully the next video will teach us how to connect this dimming light by blynk on google assistant. I've been waiting for that since you post this video. Thanks.
No. I won’t be uploading that video
But well it’s not that difficult
You can find tutorial on UA-cam regarding google assistant with blynk. Just search for it
I want program of this project
Wow ,its amazing😊😊detailed explanation
Hello, Sir,
can we use this circuit for inductive loads such as AC Fan?
and what about the zero-cross detection of AC Signal 🚥?
your previous video tells everything thankyou.
Can I use 2 dimmer at same yime?
No
Thank you so much bhai, finally the wait is over 😍😍
Great video bro, wow you complete the whole video in 6 minutes 😍
sir i tried this but the nodemcu is flashing continuously ,repeatedly its connecting and disconnecting
I facing the same problem
I am also waiting for this project
Thnx bro.... awesome project
Thanx sir
Thanks for this tutorial.
I have also made dimmer ciruit but it is not connected with the blynk.
Now this tutorial helps me to connect with that.
Thanks for that
Keep it up ...
I’ll only say one thing
If this video helped you then kindly share it with others
#ShareVideoShareKnowledge
Great ♥ ♥ 👍👍
Thanks a lot sir now ill try 😀
Sir kya ye nodemcu esp8266 par work karega
wow 😍😍😍😍
Is the dimmer board compatible with Inductive loads?
No, you will get a humming sound
Or you can just buy Tapo Smart Bulb...
Nice, but you didn't share code that includes relay plus AC dimmer
Be there isn’t any change in the code
You just need to add buttons on the blynk app and connect relay to the pin you want
That’s the magic of blynk
@@techiesms thanks you for guidance
I was waiting for this, btw thanks brother, all i want to know that, this circuit doesn't have a snubber circuit, so is it possible to control inductive loads like fan with this circuit?
I made it with snubber circuit , but my code was so complicated, the only bug i faced is when ever power supply is gone and circuit runs through inverter, the dimmer doesn't work, it increased my fan speed to full, i have no idea how to fix that bug. Can u help me with that
@@mrunmaydarpan125 which inverter you used? My best guess would be that there is something wrong with ZCD portion of your circuit which inverter feeds
@@nisargshukla6382 exactly, may be my inverter doesn't have exact 50hz , this is just a guess.
👌
You'll not believe that I've been looking for this for a week...
And i got it...
I'm really happy with this video because you made it on what i was searching all over...
Thanks a lot...
