Strange that most employees we met have have been employed far less time than I've owned my Magnum. Also that on the demo ride there was almost pedaling. Appparently lots of employee turnover.
I am a you tube influencer and I reviewed the Magnum Metro X for Magnum. I want to thank Magnum for sending a that bike to review,. My overall experience reviewing that bike was amazing. It was easy to assemble and I can’t say enough good things about the bike. It handled extremely well. They put quality parts into every build. I am hoping to review newer models as they come out. My channel “Senior E Bike Nation” is dedicated to help seniors make a informed decision on what E Bike to purchase with safety my #1 priority for my you tube viewers. I can say that the Magnum brand is a top quality e bike.
I bought my Magnum Cruiser back in 2017. This is my 6th year riding it and I haven’t had any problems with it yet. Still using the original battery with no issues.
I've had a Magnum Premium II for 3 years now and can confirm that Magnum customer service is first rate. I contacted them three different times for some issues I experienced which were not at all their fault or responsibility and they ( especially Dusty ) went above and beyond to help me. I am totally satisfied with Magnum.
Can someone besides Wired please make a 35 plus mph rear hub full suspension bike with fenders and a rear rack please? Yes 35 plus capable. Say just like a better Magicycle Deer that goes 35 plus mph with better frint and rear suspension. If you must have a button to push for off road private land use then so be it! I would pay $3,000 for a Magicycle Deer that had a 37 mph possible top speed but better suspension components. That means 1,000 to 1,200 watt nominal with a 35 amp controller. 60V if needed. I might just buy a full suspension bike and swap in my AR Kepler motor, controller and display.. I'd rather just buy a nice full suspension bike that already goes almost 40 mph. One without dual motors or a non geared hub please.
Sounds like building your own is the way to go. Or find a company outside USA that doesn't have to worry about liability or lawsuits. I bought an Eahora emtb that I just wrecked hard, fractured my wrist going across terrain, and edge of sidewalk got me...rookie mistake. Hope I didn't total it. I've hit 37 down big hill on mine and the thing is not steady for that speed. It can cruise around 27mph with 260lbs on it. Anything over 30mph is ticketable here and a lot of offroad trails here they are illegal. Even though I've maxed all the settings on the controller, I think the limit is there to keep the battery and motor cool. The 1000w motor loves sucks a lot of battery. Tighter machining tolerances, alignments, trueing spokes better, better tires, better brakes, and better suspension are things I want. I think it's all about liability, and most companies want to be doing business in the future. Honestly, some liability insurance is probably something to look into, because similar to skiing and snowboarding if you wreck into someone, you are liable for medical bills. I'm curious how different a $1600 ebike compares to $7000+ ebike now even though I don't think I could bring myself to spend that kind of money(more than my first car). Maybe I should have got my motorcycle license and a used motorcycle...

Hey Rod, Dusty from Magnum Bikes here, I think the reason is mostly growth. We have twice the staff we had just a few years ago :)

Awesome to learn about this brand we’ve never heard of before! Looks like a neat place to work. And awesome riding right out the door.

Awesome! Yes great team over there.
Magnum needs to make the $3,000.00 E-Bike $2,000.00 and longer warranty. Lots of profit built in to do that

Worst e bike I’ve ever owned. Terrible service. Terrible product
