The rake is still working great no bent or broken tubes at all. It’s very well built and no way I could break it with my tractor. Thanks for checking out the video!
Thanks for the feedback. Have you been using the guide wheels a lot? I’m on the fence about those because they are almost $300 option. I will be using it for soil prep like what you are doing here.
Yeah the cost of the wheel kit seems high but they are made very well with grease fittings on the spindle and wheel hub. For me they make it so much more versatile and keep the tines from digging in too much. I’ve rotated the tines backwards and set the wheel height for my gravel driveway which is pea gravel size limestone and it smooths it out really nice. I feel in most of my uses the wheel kit has been worth the money.
Hi Joe. Thanks for posting. The rake seemed to work out well just as you had planned. How do you like the 3 point hitch Quick connects? I am wondering if they would be compatible with flail Mower I am considering. The flail would not be compatible with a true 3 point Quick Hitch. Dan
Yes the rake worked just fine. I highly recommend the Pat’s hitch that you see on mine in the video. Not as quick as a true quick hitch but it works with all my implements including a trailer hitch that’s much narrower. Really a huge time and back saver. Just remember it extends your hitch bars around 3” back so things like PTO shaft might need extended as well which is similar to a quick hitch too. Thanks for the comment and for checking out the video!
Great video, how has it been holding up? I’m considering getting one for my BX from them as well. Thanks
