Easy Method to Unroll Hay Bale Without an Unroller or Special Attachments!

In this video we wanted to show an alternate method of unrolling hay bales that doesn't require special equipment or attachments. However, this method does require certain terrain to get the job done.
On flat land, we have used the hay forks and front end loader to unroll the bale. This method takes a little more time, and is not as convenient, but it works OK.

We use this method a lot. Problem is hay we have is from second cutting and it’s pretty short, so the bale does not unroll well.

I could see that. I get a few here and there that don’t like to unroll as well. A 3 point unroller is very handy but I’ve kept my tractor busy clear land and brush and haven’t wanted to put it on.

I agree! I’ve wanted one for several years now. I actually decided on a Hay-B-Gone unroller. There’s a few things with the Judy unroller that wouldn’t work as well for me.
