Seodaemun-gu, Seoul, is a region in the northwest of Seoul. There are several subway stations connected to the area, but most of them are located on the outskirts of the area, and Hongje Station is the only subway station inside. There seems to be no downtown or entertainment area here. It is surrounded by low mountains, and a dragon-like overpass winds around the sky. And Hongjecheon Stream flows to the Han River. I visited here a few times last year. I lived in Seoul for a long time, but I didn't know much about this area.
The walk in the early hours of Sunday when there were not many people was special. The course I walked in this video is a course that goes back along Hongjecheon Stream. It was very interesting. Unlike looking at the Internet map at home to solve small questions, it was lively and quite exciting. You could also see traces of old times that were difficult to see in the present era. The flowing water hid in the concrete floor and cracked over and over again. It was a rather satisfying little adventure for me.

This is a place that is not well known to people. I don't know why. It has a subtle, subtle atmosphere. It's old, but I'm completely fascinated by the little adventure that goes up this waterway. I couldn't go into a really dark tunnel.

I agree. This course includes a shabby and tasteless past depending on the viewer. Especially as i go upstream. Although I was blocked by the last wall, I was curious about the end of the stream. Maybe I had to walk a few more hours up the mountain after that. I wanted to, but at the same time it seemed like a reckless idea. It's practically pointless. But I was attracted to it. I don't know why. Maybe it's just because of the sense of adventure inside me.

This video is just so peaceful and scenic. I decided to play it while studying Korean. I spend a wonderful summer in Seoul. I miss the city tremendously. There is this incomparable charm to every little corner I managed to discover myself while being there. Watching this gives me so much comfort. Because I have no idea when I'll even be able to come back again. Thank you. It's something my heart has been longing for.

헐.. 😨 계곡이 특별히 관리되지 않고 낙후된 분위기가 있는데, 그런 점이 마음에 들면서도, 산에서 내려오는 꺠끗한 물인데 전혀 사람들이 들어갈 것 같지 않은 분위기의 계곡이더군요. 그런데 몇몇 곳은 정말 물놀이하기 좋은 장소란 생각이 들 정도로 좋아보였습니다

What you see is not Hakenkreuz.
That pattern has been used a lot all over the world since ancient times. It was also used as a macro for certain units of the Russian or American military until World War II. This is an important sign in Buddhism and Hinduism all over the world, even though the Nazis in Germany used it and stopped using it. Since the 1990s, Korean Buddhism has decided not to use it to avoid misunderstanding, but it is marked on many ruins and is now widely used in Korean fortune-telling. I think the house with that mark is a Korean fortune-telling house. If you saw that mark in Korea, it's not Hakenkreuz.
개인적으로 한국 전통적인게 많이 있으면 좋겠다.. 전통적인거 좋아하는데 일본과 중국이랑 비교하면 한국은 너무 없음ㅠ
