Goodness, you have shown us some lovely colours there. Most of the single eyeshadows I have are MAC and Bobbi Brown, and all are mostly neutral warm and cool colours. I can't begin to tell how many palettes I have though....I'd probably frighten myself silly if I counted them 😲.
I love cool toned eyeshadows because my skin pulls the orange out of a shadow so even bronze eyeshadows were orange. For a long time it was hard to find a palette with all cool toned shadows, so my entire collection is single eyeshadows. I now have a palette of green, a palette of purple, and a palette of cool toned browns and mauves. Several of my singles are from Sydney Grace and I LOVE their formula the most so far. My favorite single shadow is DayDreamer by Makeup Geek. It's one of their foiled eyeshadows and I was really upset when I went on their site and found out it was discontinued. It's not an everyday eyeshadow but when I wear it I feel confident and beautiful. For an everyday office single my favorite is Friend Zone by Makeup Geek.
You wear the prettiest eyeshadows Mandy, and they always accentuate your beautiful blue eyes. Love your choices. I can only wear certain brands and my faves are from the Violet Voss palette. I love Cool Beans, Are U Kitten Me, So Jelly and On Fleek. Love the pigmentation and they blend really well. The Sydney Grace shadows look beautiful.. definitely will check them out 😊💗
One fantastic metallic taupe/gold is Urban Decay Chase. I wear it on my moving lid every single day. I literally put it on with my finger and fluff Bobbi Brown toast in my crease and lower lash line. Great natural warm look.
Yes, an update to your top five series! I also really enjoy when you do grwm videos where you just chit chat. While I am here, a video with any random pro or personal tips and techniques you haven't shared yet would be fun too.
Love this video Mandy :-)) Yes the single shadows do need love hee hee, I will take them all in to my house lol. Love all the colours you have shown today. oxoxoxox
Thanks for another amazing video :) I have a ton of metallic lid shadows, but my favorite are from Palladio. They have these shadows called Crushed Metallic eye shadow, and my favorite color is called Stellar. The pigmentation is crazy good and only cost around $7 or $8 depending on where you buy them. I bought mine at Sally Beauty. Also, I have had my eye on Syndney Grace shadows and now I am going to go online and get some :)
Mandy great video! Loved this one so much! I enjoy single eye shadows I really need to gather fav and put in z pallet. You got me thinking girl! Think I’ll grab this Sydney Grace for sure! Your eyes look gorgeous today. Tutorial???
I love ABH rum cake for the lid. It came in an old palette called Lavish. I have been hoping it would come out as a single, but I have yet to run across it.
I have most of these based on your recs! My other faves r L’Oréal Iced Latte (inner corner), L’Oréal Amber Rush, L’Oréal Infallible paint metallic in Rose Chrome, L’Oréal Infallible paint metallic Violet Luster, & Hourglass Scattered Light in Reflect. Can’t wait for ur updated top 5’s!
I loved this video. I do prefer single eyeshadows personally because there are colors in palettes I never use so it can be a waste. I recently bought a bunch of ABH single shadows. Just a FYI, The smoke color and the birkin color is still available on ABH website. 🤗🤗
I don't have any of the shadows you showed, I feel like I just really got started creating a go-to collection. I've picked up some palettes that I'm testing out, I won a couple in giveaways too. I bought Buxom White Russian On The Rocks palette and the Lorac Pro 1 and Pro 3 palettes in the Ulta 21 Days sale. I bought some ColourPop shadows that are really Wow! but they left me with glitter all over my face. I bought a pigment primer to try with them. One step at a time on a very limited budget! I'm spending the bulk of my money on skincare until I can get the whole routine where I want it. Have a great week! I love your videos! Also, I loved your wedding picture on IG!🌻
Loved your video. Would like to see some tutorials using the singles and how you layer with the tart pots. BTW, my go-to lid shade is Revlon’s colorstay creme eyeshadow #730. I never hear anyone talk about these, but they are great and affordable.
My goodness, you look so lovely today and love that you took the time to show us all these great colours 🦋 I think I need to pick up a few you mentioned. ABH Birkin and MAC Quarry are my most repurchased. I noticed the other day that the Armani Eye tints are repackaged and it looks like there are some new colours 🤗
I purchased the Marc Jacobs shadow you talked about and I love it, also have you ever tried Mary Kay shadows, wow they are so good and so affordable, the shade granite is so beautiful and golden mauve , worth trying out for sure.
I’m a single shadow gal! They save so much money! I just put them in empty magnetic palettes ($10 from ColourPop). I’ve bought Sydney Grace and Coastal Scents. (I bought Coastal Scents when they were having a $0.99 sale!)
I watched this a while and ended up buying frose and now have no idea how to use it. Its so beautiful- at some point could you do an GRWM eye look using it? I tried searching your channel and couldnt find one.
Singles are so underrated, nice to see them getting some love :) Also curious about the ones you’d have in your kit.... I’ve been looking for some lid-shades that give a glow/shine something reflective but not glittery....am I crazy do shades like this exist anywhere outside of my imagination?
Pocket Change is perfect for what you described. Makeup Geek has a good bit of them. Homecoming is another one from them that I can think of right off the top of my head at the moment. :)
My very sensitive eyes can’t tolerate powder shadows at all. Could you please do a video on your favorite cream shadows? The only ones I find are far too shimmery for my 70 year old eyes although I do like a satin finish. I have looked for your video on cream shadows but can’t find it. Thanks so much for any advice you might have!
Takesmorethanmakup~ Not to hijack you asking Mandy a question. I just wanted to mention I saw Mandy use an eyeshadow not very long ago and being 59 and also have very sensitive eyes and not able to use many shadows I tried what she was speaking about and LOVE it. It's Laura Mercier Caviar eye sticks. It's a cream in a stick and I use a synthetic small brush to apply it after putting it on my lid. NO issues at all and I got a neutral matte and the Sand Glow which Mandy had used which has a subtle shimmer when brushed out.. nothing over done... very neutral and no issues at all with my eyes going nuts nor looking dry nor aged. I went on to buy a couple more in neutral tones.
Marc Jacobs OMega Perfect-O is the BEST satin for brow and inner corner highlight. I was always mixing the two lightest shades from the Persona palette.
Would love to know what your favorites are for a one shadow look, either powder or cream. I love being able to trow on one color when I am running late or just want a quick out the door look. Love your choices so I know I would pick up a couple based on your recommendation. Thank you.
I don't have a lot of single shadows but of what I have I love Mac Patina, Wedge, Bruele and All that Glitters. I also really like L'oreal Bronzed Taupe.
Of all the ones I mentioned, the Peanut Butter from Sydney Grace and Pocket Change are my faves for a one shadow look. I also have a top 5 cream shadow videos and any of those would work to throw on by themselves. :)
Love this series! What are your thoughts about 50 year old hooded eyes wearing the Tarte Chrome Paints? Recommendations? Hugs from your Canadian Cousin, Moi
I think it totally depends on how comfortable you are with shimmers on the lids. I don't find they transfer with a good primer, so I would check them out!
Looking forward to this new series. You’re suggestion are the best. Some of my favorites is the Marc Jacobs singles. Do you know if his shadows can be depotted? I preferred to make up my own palette then buying one with half the colors I won’t use.
Thank you Colleen! I would be scared to try honestly. You may be able to heat up the bottom of the package and pop them out but the packaging is so bulky that I am not sure that would work. 😞
Mandy Davis MUA Thanks for your advice. Always appreciate it🌹 Better safe then sorry, plus he has some beautiful packaging. Will leave them as is. 👍🏻🌸👍🏻
I bought Prim-O on your recommendation and it’s by far my most used shadow since I got it last year... Did you ever or do you still have any bareMinerals loose shadows? I kept all of mine but I never use them. I hardly ever see anyone use them on YT.
Yay! So glad you love it. I still have all mine too and don't reach for them as much as I used to. My fave of all of them would probably be Bare Skin. It's so pretty!
@@MandyDavisMUA Side note: I tried Prim-O over a Surratt lid lacquer and it was GORGEOUS. But it did crease. :( It foiled the dry shadow with the moisture in the cream. I'm on the hunt now for another cream shadow that will give the same effect but set.
I bought those Tarte ones and I hate them 😟 it’s so messy and they look nothing like your swatches sadly. They are like a loose powder and it’s messy and patchy. Maybe I got bad ones?
I feel like they must have reformulated them maybe? I have had a few people tell me that theirs were loose and needed to be pressed back in. I am not sure what is going on. 😕
Oh goodness...I can't think of their names right now. LOL One of them has blonde hair, in her twenties, and I think Mariah Leonard is one. She uses palettes, but highlights singles alot.

Please please pleaseee do a video also on your favorite shadows for your clients, the one's you have on your kit 😍
Will do!
Oh I am the same way!! Way way too many for sure!
Who are we kidding. They’re all our favorites. They all look AMAZING on this beautiful eyes my dear.
Thank you!!
Great video!! I like the fact that you have high end & vert reasonably priced. Have a blessed week.
Thanks so much Sherie! I hope you have a blessed week as well!
Some of my faves are greatest gift by Sydney Grace, grandstand, frappe, and bitten by makeup geek, and dusty rose and pink champagne by Anastasia
I love cool toned eyeshadows because my skin pulls the orange out of a shadow so even bronze eyeshadows were orange. I plan on doing one of those very soon. I did so many in a row there for awhile that I wanted to take a break. I’ll get back to them ASAP. 😍
I really enjoy single shadows. One of my favoristes is Laura Mercier's Sable, Color Pop's Secrets and Devinah's Pandora
One of my favorites is Laura Mercier in Morning Dew.
Oh I love Fresco from her! I have that one in my kit .:)
Juvia's Place now has a Foundation, and......IT HIT THE GROUND RUNNING!!!!
Hi Mandy, My favorite lid color (well one of them) is Anastasia Glisten, also her RTW, Topaz and Pocket Change. Love this! xxoo
Great choices Beverly!
Love this video Mandy :-)) Yes the single shadows do need love hee hee, I will take them all in to my house lol. Love all the colours you have shown today. oxoxoxox
Thanks Linda!!
Love these colors! My favorite single eyeshadow pot is New Moon by Chanel. I reach for it often. It’s soo pretty and makes for an easy eye look 😍 😘
I can't believe I don't have that one.
Love you Mandy . My fave is Surratt zibeline
I have never tried Surratt shadows. I'll have to check them out!
Thank you. I like singles!

So glad you love the MJ liner! I haven't tried any Mary Kay makeup, but I will check those out. Thanks!
The essence metal chrome shadows are almost wet & the pigment is so shiny and stunning. You need to try ❤️😁

The SG shadows look just like MAC's Soft Brown, Sketch and Embark if I'm not mistaken. 😁 💜
Similar but not exact. Soft brown is a bit lighter and Embark is a bit cooler in tone.
Saw Anastasia Birkin and Smoke at Ulta today!
Awesome!
I use MAC soft brown almost everyday as a transition color. I have repurchased it probably 3 or 4 times!!
It's a GREAT shade. I have repurchased a few times for my kit as well.
Loved the video Mandy. Your skin looks so GOOD!
Thank you Francesca!!! xoxo
Makeup Geek Cocoa Bear is my most used single shadow.
Oh I love that one! I have that one in my kit and just used it alone on one of my more natural brides last month. It was gorgeous!
Hi Mandy, this is a great video. Going to get a few of them. Thanks
Thanks Jodie!

Francesca Reese ty very much! I have the LM in au naturel but it’s very matte so don’t use it much. I’ll look at some of the other shades.
Hi! Glo Skin Beauty also makes some lovely cream shadow sticks 💕
here's the video you were looking for :) (Nudestix also has some great ones)

Oh how sad, I was hoping that you would include some of the single private eyeshadows by TF. I own eight of those lovelies.
I actually don't have any of the TF singles...just palettes.
Great video Mandy. I wrote down several.
Thanks Debbie!
Do you have a Sydney Grace code? About to make an order & I always check for YOUR codes first!!!! ❤️😁
You are so sweet...no, I don't think they know who I am. LOL Thank you for checking though!!
