Game 3 Demon actually took it with Witch Strike, an extremely advanced Bayo tech that not many people know how to do consistently. It involves wavebouncing your up b to hit with only the first hit of witch twist. The first hit sends higher than regular witch twist does so you can get really early kills off the top. Mad props to Demon. Insane bayo

Which is exactly why she’s definitely a high tier and not just “yea but my SDI is good so she’s bad” even with SDI too many great mix ups and frame 1 air dodge
@@echospace7347 you’re joking right? Witch strike alone doesn’t make her high tier. It’s incredibly hard to do and requires some set up. You can’t just do it and it’ll kill. Stop talking about the character like you know anything about it. She has di mix ups but they don’t kill. Her major weakness is that she racks up damage and never kills. If she doesn’t kill you at 70-100, she won’t kill until like 200 because you’re out of confirm range. She’s not high tier because of this tech bruh

The venue was going NUTS for this set. Demon is a REALLY GOOD socal bayo main (#4 in Socal atm) and me and everyone from socal in the audience was cheering him on. Absolute shame he didn’t win it would have been a major upset

Sparg0's Aegis isn't as sophisticated as Shuton or Leo but he is so dangerous with Pyra because he utilises and mixes up all 80 of her kill options
80? she has 4. up b, down air spike off stage, down air into up smash and down air into up-air depending on character and percent

@Snowolf Pyra has way more than 4 kill moves... You can't be serious? Moves that don't kill with Pyra are Dtilt, Nair, and Side B. Literally, everything else kills stupid early.
@@Contrary22 Nair kills off the top at high ish percents and side b can snipe kill off stage (when higher than the ledge). Down tilt doesn't kill but can kill confirm into up air or up b below a platform

@Zotoast You can tell this was his toughest set because he was basically forced off Cloud and to Aegis. Could spargo have reversed it with Cloud? Sure. But it's an even match-up while Aegis def beats Bayo. Sparg0 was not confident at all with the Cloud.

The commentators had nothing to say or are Spargo bias, the match was good though, Spargo had to switch, nice one Demon.
Yeah lol😂 they even dare to say Limit break was playing against Cloud since it gets "stuck" in combos. Cloud should take al the hits, not to floats off from them and definitely he doesn't need more buff.

Not really, he started winning tournaments after switching to solo cloud (bunch of 2nd places with aegis)
@Sander Yeah you're right but he also was only losing to Leo with Aegis, whereas his Cloud is what he's more comfortable with and has better peaks with but lower lows

both matchups are -1 for bayo in my opinion, she kinda struggles against both, but is not a complete hard matchup

Well it is just because she is nowhere near as threatening in this game we can talk all about her last game however considering the main competitive scene is smash ultimate currently then Bayo is not really that threatening in this game while characters like Steve, Kaz and Aegis are getting results more so then Bayo
Reason why bayo was op in smash 4 is due to the floatiness of that game. Including, other things. Check the patch note! She could do an up smash and bair if she wanted too!
Clouds fair is a level one limit break in ff7 and it's called braver

Strange...Aegis is working better as a counterpick than a main one in meta now. But I believe there are some Aegis tools Cosmos, Mkleo or sparg0 hasnt discovered yet.
Because Aegis is an overrated character. The reason is Aegis has no broken moves. As you can see in this set, you have to outplay your opponent. Yes you are given the tools to do that, but you also aren't given broken tools to freely win areas or end stocks at ridiculously early percentages.
